Hey everybody welcome back to taz's wig closet at wig studio, one here to encourage and inspire your wig journey today we're going to take a look not at a new style, not a new color, but a new color style combination by estetica. Coming up. Many of you have probably guessed what i'm wearing right now. This is the estetica jones in the color rh1488. I have a full review out there, and i've also used some estetica sea salt spray it to bring out this beautiful texture. It'S a short, highly textured shag style, cut with a nice, manageable fringe, no frills cap and easy to wear. So i am featuring another jones in a new color to jones, which is the smoky rose. This week's down was sent to me by wig studio one for this review today, so i could show it to you before you decide to make the investment we invite you to shop at wig studio one. Please reach out to support wigstudio1.com. So does everybody remember when estetica came out with their smokehouse color collection? It was only available on a few styles at the time, and they've recently decided to expand that smokehouse color collection to two additional styles. One of those is what i'm hearing wearing here, which is jones and the other is reeves. So if you like jones and reeves - and you really wish they had the smokehouse colors options available, they are now available on those two styles. The smokehouse collection includes. I think four colors, which is the smoky rose, the lilac haze, the icy shadow and the chocolate smoke, all beautiful, colors and they're, so subtle, yet they're fashion, colors, but they're so subtle. I feel like they're, very much everyday mainstream colors. So today i am going to present to you another estetica jones in the color smokey rose. I think this is going to be adorable with all this texture and then just adding a little bit of soft pink so exciting. So i have not seen this yet. It literally just arrived on my doorstep minutes ago. I was filming another review and got a knock at the door. Here'S my jones, so i'm going to show it to you first. So let's do an unboxing real, quick yup! That'S smoky rose all right. I have this color on uh estetica's jet, and i adore it. I adore it. I feel like this. Color is very wearable for all ages. I featured it in my anybody. Can wear pink video really really like it. Okay, all the typical packaging and cardboard forms there. Checking the hang tag inspecting it real real, quick here, so that i can go ahead and remove the hang tag. Now i don't even have to try this on to tell you that estetica runs large. I find that even their petite styles are more average than petite. So if you are under 21 and a half you're gon na struggle to get a fit a good fit on estetica now i i'm willing to crisscross the gestures and do what i have to do, because i really love the styles and i really love the colors Jones is, is one of my favorites. It really is it's a fun style to wear. It features about a four and a half inch, bang overall right around 10, 10 or so inches lots of layering, and this choppy texture is the signature of this little shaggy cut. Super cute all right, so i'm just going to bounce this around a little bit shake it out, pull at the fiber just to wake it up. This is an open cap, and so therefore, i'm going to want to get down in that permatease layer and just pick and fluff it otherwise it'll just look matted to my head because those fibers are not awake, they don't move naturally, yet so we have to do All of those things all right now, the next thing i'm going to do is go ahead and apply it, but now i know i have to make a drastic adjustment just so it doesn't roll around on my head, so i often crisscross those adjusters again. This is just an open cap style with the incremental hook type adjusters, so i crisscross them and yes that does leave some gathering at the back of the cap. Unfortunately um the only time that bothers me is on jet, where it's a nice smooth, tapered back. There'S some bumps there where it gathers, but on jones i have no trouble with it all right. I'M gon na go ahead and apply apply jones in smoky rose, love, love, love, love that color nice thing about jones is the texture is built right in. So you don't have to work at it too hard. I added some estetica sea salt spray to that jones that i just had on the rh1488 um, but it doesn't. It doesn't need that um. It is just fun to give it a try all right. So the next thing i want to do is a couple things, so i just want to get into that permatease layer with a wide toothpick type comb here and just gently pull up. This is going to separate the hair from the permatease layer, because this is open. Cap and it's a light color, i think there's always a concern that you might be able to see down into that nasty permatease. So, let's check it out, the camera is no substitute for a mirror, so you'll have to sort of be my eyes until i can get to edit this um. But does it look okay? I just go in there and just kind of fluff it up. The nice part about jones is too there's really no defined parting space. Therefore, it's really easy to obscure the top. I think what do you think wow rock and roll all day, long right, so there's quite a bit of permatease on this one i feel like there might be a little more permatease than on the rh1488 just a little um and it might not be uh because I'Ve broken that one in and sometimes that permatease really softens up. It gets really supple and easy to manipulate as you wear it. So lovely lovely, lovely, okay, taz. This is about the color, get to the color. The smoky rose. It'S a base, color of a platinum. Now this platinum actually is a nice buttery, warm platinum. If you are out there and you think that a platinum can't be warm it can, you can get a warm platinum or a cool platinum, and this particular one is more of a gold-based, warm platinum all over and then throughout you're, going to see highlighting of a Light rose, color, like a light, rose pink. I also see little notes of some peach in there and that peach might actually be showing through just because the pink on the warm platinum kind of makeup, peachy peachy mix, but how beautiful a soft pink. The adjustment that i made in the back seems to work just fine again, it's not rooted, so it retains its lightness and its brightness. So i think what i'll do is i'll go ahead and do a side by side with the rh1488 estetica jones. That way, you can see the color. Sometimes it takes just a little bit of perspective to understand a color, and you can also pick up on little differences between the two jones styles as well. I'Ll also give you a look uh an outdoor light at the smoky rose color as well. So don't forget to check it out at wing studio one. Gaining wisdom: I am in love with this Smokehouse Rose! I liked it inside, but when the outdoor light hit it, I felt it took on so much more beauty and dimension and really gave me confidence that I could pull this color off! It also really felt to me, that if you're someone who has never worn a fashion color before, I think this is a great 1st piece to kind of, dip you toes in the pool, because it does scream fashion color and has a almost clssy vibe to it. I only wish I could be SURE that I could pull Jones! So, I'll be looking to see all the styles that offer this color while contemplating dipping my own toes in the water of going outside my comfort zone and having some fun! Heck, I grew up in the 80s, and this definitely brings up memories of Pat Benatar and Blondie, etc lol!! Another great and exciting video, Taz!. Thanks for all you do!

For years, I cried about my hair getting more and more thin. I was born with straight, fine hair. My mom would never let my hair grow out long. I was in 6th grade and ordered a long wig from a teen magazine!! I wore it to school and the teacher handed me a comb and asked that I go to the restroom and comb it. The wig still looked terrible...they called them falls back then. I was devasted. I will NEVER forget that day. Anyway, I have followed you for about 2 years, I think. I have really embraced my hair situation instead of crying, thanks to you. I ordered the hair sheers you use. For the last several weeks, I have slowly cut my hair to 1 inch around and 2 inches on top. I let myself get used to it. Without a wig, I look like a fat ball with a little ball as a head. However!!! With makeup and my wigs and cute outfits, I feel gorgeous. At my grandson's basketball game last week, a lady, probably in her 40's or 50's told me she loved my fashion style....my hair and clothes!!
