Hey glam parents, the glam fam here its Alizee Jenkins, and it's myself Linwood and we're missing one, but she left her mess in the backseat. Just for your honesty and, of course, the guys Elina anyway. So today's mission is to find Allison a wig. I wanted to go ahead and film this, because I know a lot of people ask about like how do you select wigs? How do you go ahead and do like these different things? How do you know if a color looks good on you all that, and especially if you don't want to shop for a wig online, I wanted to share with you guys if they'll, let us film in the store, because it can be a little problematic. Sometimes you can only try on two weeks, but I like you, so you can be most of the time. They'Ll tell you, can only try to start them out. But if you're pleasant and not hood - and you don't seem like you're trying to try on every week in the store - usually they'll go ahead and allow you to try on more. But here's how you do it. You want to go in you're gon na tell them. Hey I'd like to try on some wigs is that possible, most stores to sell wigs will just allow you to purchase a stocking cap and then from there you're able to try it on and all that type of stuff. I live in one yeah, so there's probably still gon na make her purchase RDM because they don't know what else I can cap is being uh. Allison tries on a selection of wigs. Maybe we'll have you guys vote on which ones you think like cutest on her keep in mind when you go to a wig store, while the wig may have potential, everybody in the mama has had their fingers in it. So especially if it's a curly wig is going to look a certain degree of busted because everything a mom feels like they can just do like this check her lis here, and you can't do that. Okay, so side note we're on our way there, but we wanted to show you this spot over here, where's it at. Where is it there's a place like here cut, look nails long. Can we please, can we just named our businesses stuff that may since nails mom? Can we name it long nails? That'S that's all I want. Can we make it more than one nail beautiful nails? Yes, but the thing is, it would say, beautiful nail that you only get 100k 30 dollars to be in there an hour you to get this wrong. For you not to know how to talk to me, but okay, nails like the sad thing is they say busy. You see I'm not trying to go to the okay here under sexy silky hair, so yeah we're about to go inside um and hopefully we'll be able to make this work, make it work like Tim Gunn, uh shots at the Tim Gunn, I'm not watching that show When I watch TV yeah okay, so we're in the store, we're heading to the weight section and yeah, there's there's a lot of wigs to select from now. Of course, your local Beauty, Supply stores gon na have different options. Things like that, based on whatever is doing Oslo week, like literally look at this look at this, like it's amazing. So if you are, there's like or were or were her, I feel like we're in New York every time when you come here because they have such an amazing selection, like it's literally wonderful. So if you are looking for wigs, it's important to just go to a store, a selection, and that way you can say you look new grandma. You got grandma wigs. If you sexy, you got sexy wings. If you boo, she hold on there's some booty week somewhere hold on. Oh you got Boucher wigs, I mean it's just you know. You'Ve got options options. If you got dusty here, boom dusty options when you come and you're trying to select a wig go somewhere is gon na have options for you, because then you've actually got a way to be able to see. Okay is this something I want to do? Do I want to do like a half wig like something like this? Just this is what I was talking you guys about whenever you're looking at wigs in the store be mindful that it's not going to be like this, when you get out of the pack, everybody and they mama history, their fingers. Do this so notice how it looks on the thing here there we go, you can kind of see how it looks smoother on the little sticker thing there. Usually, when you get them out the pack, they need some manipulation when they've been out like this they've had entirely too much manipulation, but nonetheless like look at this. This is cute who is crying invisibly lately, it's LP w140 and the color is incorrect, but that's cute. I don't like the Scout piece up, but it's took you. You part wigs and look at that and purchase them that way. They'Ve got kinky straight wigs that look blown out. All of these are synthetics so far by the way they do have a human, a human hair section. But you know this way you can at least have some selection. Okay, so don't say I didn't help you out here. Look here. These are the ones where you can sew them down so like. Basically, it comes with like the mesh netting on here, so you can sew these down and that way it's kind of like a sew-in without the work of a snowman. So if you can't afford one or you have scalp issues, it gives you excellent selection, okay. So what are we looking at something? I don't know it's so hard because they've been through it, they have been through it out. The box is probably too curls. I have any mama, I'm sure has messed with that, all right. Here'S what you do a lot of times. I show them the back of that one if they don't mind, see the curls in the back like there we go. That is what that whole week. Probably looked like before everybody in their momma touched it. So if you're wondering - and it's looking like, for instance like that one, I guarantee you that didn't look like that when they had it. So you just you know, part it out and find the section in the back that you're looking for and then you're good to go. You know I like to just throw it on I'm running late for work. That'S what I like. So this was like a blow on. You know you just yeah that one is that one it has so much potential. I like that one's a very curl yeah. It'S like keep it on, and once you made it your own, nothing, it would be cute. It'S not good right for me really and I feel like I would be trying to make it big like this one easily is made. You know I mean no to me now. I get that me nollie up you in a week attitude. 130. You know I usually go for the jet black to stay safe, whatever I'm wearing the bland. You know, because if I'm wearing a purple wig, I don't want to be seen with you we're all purple years ago, peace. It is now that this is the thing. Just me, this is why I love that they have wigs out and you can kind of mess with them, because you look at the pictures on Sony's, it's like girl who wants their place. You don't even look happy like I look like a dog, but then, when you look at it here, it's like oh wait. There'S potential hold on and serving me Tyra. Yes, it's been fingered too much. Yes, girl. We got to work on your own selection, you're gon na select the most yellow wig up in this piece, so it's exams, rapunzel wig, is what she wanted yeah, but that's really pretty, but I was a Bob shape. Wait a minute. Why does it look longer? No, this is a good-looking blonde wig. So this one I'd like that natural texture of the wig I dard the roots. I wish that it was slightly darker in there, but that's that's pretty cute. She has potential girl, served me Tyrone on a wet day, but still this one says I'm a Latina mom. I like the color variation. Wait I don't like the ones with the dark end. So just look like a grown out bad color job. We could be in the store, like literally we're in a store like all they only do their stuff. Oh look at potential ill, not potential. Okay! Oh the lace on this one likes eBook, flexible ways that amazing now then, you've got other ones like this. In here. Like a very stiff, hard lace, this will cut you if you do it wrong, so selecting them. You want to pay attention to stuff like that, just as the type of stuff like and look at the difference, lace hard base. I hope you guys can catch on camera that one's huge it looks way more purple on camera, but it's more. It'S like a plum type. Color, it's really cute! Your hair is almost that color right now this one it's like we've got. This is like when you have two different packs of hair and you can make it to status, but you got to the kitchen beautician, so you've got your curly body wave on top and go straight all in one pack here underneath like I'm, not going on that At all, not at all how at the weekly, your mommy, all the leggings, yes agree: yeah you have to stay to about the leggings all the way across the story. We got three weeks. Oh there's this one mr. Mahina, and this one and the allison is presently trying on. Oh that's a red carpet, one with the red carpet, so you guys a boat down below. If you love children, you feel like she's amazing. What do you think about the Jenna Jackson control heads there I feel, like the part line, would need to be tweaked a bit and like maybe a little bit of foundation or concealer in that part. But I think that when she's brand new she look better cuz right now, she's really busy number two. I think the texture of this one looks like blown out natural here Lisa. It looks natural in terms of texture. So far, my vote is gon na go for at least that now keep in mind you guys mirrorless nineties, wigs. You can usually get since they're all different colors and things like that yeah. What do you think it's so last minute lineup change. She is now the waterboy um and this one here pattern is nice, but you see guys like several different color options. Things like that, so it's nice asking selection, I'm telling you I'm killing the texture. Remember this! There'S their church tang! Okay! So I don't know what this one's name is it using the brown sugar collection? So if you guys are feeling heard and just right, brown sugar there in the comment, what do you think of out of those two? My vote is still pretty light. Eliza. I think that's her name. I forgot that quick, but I like the color on this one, but I like the curl in this part because thank you, it's a tax right so possible new addition to the lineup. I think that one nah look you guys know. This is gon na vary based on your abuse, twice or so like here. These are all the human hair ones which are rightfully behind glass, because people steal, if you supply source a lot a whole lot. But these are five dollars of pieces to try on which I honestly think is really wise on their part, because it if you can't pay five dollars to try it on and you're, not willing to pay for the price of a human hair wig anyway, let's be Real cool - I don't know if it's five dollars, apiece to Tron, it's just five dollars. Okay, let me show you guys this one here is human, but the lace is really rough, so just because a human don't think that it's amazing the texture, the hair might be nice, but this lace will cut you, so you want to look for the ones where They'Ve got like the lace: it's a bit more like this, really flexible soft. It does not cut the skin if you adjust okay. I hope this video has been really helpful. This is very different for us, but I do I like the color of this one. I why don't we see that before that's nice, there are so many options in here and it's like it's late at night y'all. So I know they're probably like can y'all go. You can go difference between silky and Barbie she's Barbie like at first she, sir silky, but then she serves I'm beyond Asian. Their wigs are probably been purchased hold on, I'm not trying to pay for a new mannequin. You can leave her be. Thank you. Thank you. Being this is, this is only home for y'all like she's, always one day you have to be organized she's like that, her shoes too. Why can't you just really anyway glam fam, so it looks like he Liza one out, but Eli's the one out by default. We were gon na, get you Liza and the other one, the woman that was like red with the wave or whatever, however comma she was brand new and all girl was in the back for 22 years and they're about to close and she was like um. I keep I hurt, so we were like okay. Well, you've been back there looking for a good minute, so you know you're like that's. Okay, but Eliza. You heard what a one! Yes, because it's safe for those who don't know a number one is black. Now, for the costume anyway, she blasian um, so anyway, long story short. Don'T think that the numbers on the weave are the same as the numbers for haircolor. It'S a very bad mistake: there's not a 613 hair color, but that is like a that's, usually an ultra light blonde or whatever. Honestly, let me be real. They don't make hair color like that. You have to bleach your hair professionally and then tone it to get anywhere near that notice professionally. Okay, so let us know what you guys thought of this. Video is very different for us, but I did enjoy taking you along because I feel like there's so much that we got to cover on this just having the selection, a variety of wigs, that we don't typically get to cover on videos. Yes, so as you'd notice, I'm very proud that I was able to take my wig off and still have my we looking like and back on without it being. You know, it's mangled yeah. Yes, it was not like glue down jail down. Nothing like that. So I'm happy, I keep trying wigs and keep moving on with my life so anyway, until next time guys take care, god bless. It just so happened that I just learned to fishtail braid, but my 11 yr old daughter wanted me to learn to do it against the scalp and starting higher up on the head. So I luckily found ur video, and I actually learned how to do it! She will be so excited tomorrow when I can show her. I am a Caucasian woman in my early 40 s, and I have been suffering from female pattern baldness that actually began at about 30 yrs old. I have an underactive thyroid that’s caused my thin hair. I can still manage to hide it, if I keep it layered on top, use hair fibers, texturizing powders, and the right brushes and products. But it’s something I think about and worry about everyday. I often think how much I would love to be able to have bangs again, but there’s just no way. I’m scared of adding in extensions in the thinning areas cuz I’m worried that it could actually cause me to lose the little amount that I have left. I do think about eventually maybe getting. A wig, but I know absolutely nothing about them, other than getting a bad one can make u look and feel horrible! I want it to look and feel as natural as possible, like I want it to look positively like it grew out of my own head, I don’t want it to be hot, or uncomfortable or itchy. I just feel I have a lot to learn. I enjoyed u and ur wife’s video at the wig store and I enjoyed ur video on hair loss. I did subscribe to ur channel, so I will definitely keep watching. Please do more videos starting at the very basics, for people like me, w info on how to get or pick a wig that’s not hot, or itchy, that’s not gonna look like a wig, that’s gonna really last, and how to care gor them.
