Full Lace Human Hair Wig Try On Haul : Wig 101

Ha ha ha 29 here and today I am doing a video where my makeup looks a little strange. The lipstick does not necessarily go with this. Look. I don't know it's a little strange, but it's not focused on the makeup today focus on the wigs, because I didn't Instagram pull on my Instagram at cutting an official and you guys asked for a wig haul, video um. It was kind of split down the middle. I was kind of shocked but really excited that you guys wanted a unboxing video, because I haven't really done them and I'm really happy to know that you guys are super open-minded like me to the different ideas that I have. So I'm excited to do an unboxing really soon as well. Did you guys voted for the wig haul to be number one? Let'S go ahead and show you guys my wig collection, so in a far-off corner over here in my room, I display all my wigs on these shelves. Sorry, if they're a little uneven it just is what it is. But I have all my wigs here. As you can see, I have a lot of really hot toned wigs, so I have lots of like reds and yellows and oranges, but i don't so. I have been dying to try out this girl right here. She is 30 inches and human. It'S a! Let me break down a couple specs of my wigs, so all my wigs are gon na be human hair. I just don't work well with synthetic hair before i even try anything on. Let me go ahead and do a rundown of some. Some information, in my opinion, know where am i a hair professional? So some of this stuff may not be factual. It'S kind of more opinion based. Some of them is factual, like just common knowledge type things, i'm not big. With synthetic hair, synthetic hair is made of synthetic fibers. There are certain types of doll hair that is also used on wigs they're, not necessarily always the same grade. There'S different grades of the synthetic fibers, for example, Kanekalon is a very popular synthetic hair. It is used for like braiding. You can also find Kanekalon on dolls like Barbie and Monster High, but even dolls have a ton of different hair. It'S crazy. The whole whole other world out there, but synthetic hair tangles easily. I don't care what anybody says so that I care is going to tangle it's gon na tangle, I'm very aggressive and very rough with my hands and everything that I touch. I think material things are great and they should we use as a medium in an art form. So I'm very rough with everything I do. I'M not good at styling hair either. So my my human hair bugs are always on on a headstand. I pay so much for them, but synthetic wigs I would like put in a bag, for example, and it would tingle when I take them out. I just don't have time for that and I'm not saying synthetic looks, look bad in any means. I think that if you know what you're doing they work, well, I'm an amateur. I don't know what I'm doing. I don't want to know. Hair is not my passion I just like using hair as a art medium. I think it makes me look really good. I can curl hair, I can straighten hair, I can do the basics, I can braid really well, so I have a hair stylist. Who does my hair? She knows everything with more than I would Allison Slade. Is her Instagram I'll leave the link down below she? Really only does hair for just me, I'm she works exclusively with me right now, but she is looking to brand herself more, maybe one day. Eventually, if you guys want to contact her, she has made a couple of my wigs. So, for example, she made this wig out of some bundles from Lee Lee's boutique, I'm gon na link the hair down below from where you can get this hair. So if you want like natural black hair or natural blond hair, you can get the hair from Lee Lee and then also, if you wanted it colored, you can bleach all this hair, it's human hair, so it's from some person's head and then maybe they donated it. Maybe it was stolen. I can't really say: that's that's a hold of the controversy. If this is some really good Brazilian hair, it flows. Well, it's really soft and it mimics natural hair, because it's natural. That being says, this wig is not Foley's. So there are tracks in the back of it, it's sewn on to a wig cap. This is my only wig that isn't full lace. The rest of them are full lace, and so some of the legs might be a little dirty from foundation, but this is a big wig and all of them are full lace like this. So if you flip it inside out, there's a lace going all the way around in the back to the band, so I say I wanted to put in a ponytail. I can put the wig in a ponytail and it'll. Look just like the front. It'S a lease! So basically, what the lace is is when it's breathable. So if you sweat a lot, I sweat a lot. The the full lace wig will prevent it from feeling so hot and heavy, because what they do is they take the individual strands? Probably a couple like little West's of hair the little locks of hair and sew them in to the track, there's a certain needle that they use to take it and then so what this is. It'S called a frontal. This is a 360 frontal, so this, for example, this is a frontal and its ear to ear frontal. So it goes. The frontal, which is the lace, goes from this ear to this ear and it's 18 inches is the hair and the frontal is basely. What'S obviously in the front and then what kind of scene like the lace, the front of the head and then just generally with a fully, is they have the 360 frontal, which means it 360 around your head generally, this can't this can be nude like this one's Pink, it could still be in a ponytail. You wouldn't know that it's necessarily a wig I've done really, but the biggest thing is the plucking that goes in the front this week. Is it well plucked? This one is obviously very, very well plucked, like you can see the natural hairline, and that is what's going to make all wig look real synthetic or not. Obviously, human hair is gon na mimic human hair, it's human hair, but the plucking is it's going to make it look real and human, full lace. Wigs are going to look the realest they're, the highest kind of a grade of wigs, so they're going to be there's different grades of full lace, wigs as well. There'S like silk top base, there's different lace, qualities, so definitely something that you would have to invest more time into outside of myself to really indulge and know, but on the retail at about seven hundred to a thousand dollars. And I do get like, I always get them 30 inches or more. I think my branding is like known for really long hair like claudinha supposed to be like a fashion doll, so I like having like ankle length hair. It'S not really that long, but it's like pass my ass. As you can see, this hair is very very long and that the price goes up as you're as you're adding lengths. So you could probably get like a 24 inch like natural hair, probably like your boob area from you, like $ 200, and it just depends on where you go. Even that could be pricey. Some people only charge $ 100. Human hair does go up in price, though so a human hair is more expensive than synthetic, but I would say it's worth it. A lot of people say it's not worth it, but I think if you're like me, you can't manage synthetic hair like you're, not good. At styling hair and you can do the basics, let's say you can flat iron. You can curl hair like the basic stuff you don't. Cuban hair is not gon na burn, it's human. It can burn. Obviously, but it's not I've never had that happen as long as you take care of it, you're gon na be fine um. It makes you look, it just gives you a completely different. Look like I don't. I have a synthetic one right here and I'm gon na show you guys kind of the difference in a second but granted. The Styles are gon na be different, but it is what it is so normally when I put on my wigs, it is gon na look a little strange because I'm not gluing them down. Normally I take got to be glued. The yellow bottle is my favorite. A lot of people say to use the black bottle, I say: use the yellow bottle all the way, and then I just put that here and glue it down. Another big thing for making a wig look real is putting it behind your ear. So I think that's really important to do to make it look like it's growing from your scalp, but in order to do that, you generally need to glue it down. So these wigs are not fitted to my head. You can have wigs custom-made to fit your head. This one in particular alessandro, did not make it in person she lived in LA I live in Florida, so she sounds my hair when I'm in LA, but when I'm not there, she has no choice. Then you pull it over. I also don't have a mirror. I'M looking right into the camera to do this and then it just kind of you'd glue it down and it would look a little different glued down. Just letting you guys know. But this is like the premise of human hair and, as you can see like, without the plucking it just gon na be a straight line. It'S like! Oh, that's not her hair, but even here like there is a little bit of like the lace is not my color. It is a they make different colored laces as well. So this is a brown lace like deep skin tones um mine is obviously more fair. Toned than this, so it doesn't quite match, and so that's what you can kind of see a line. But if the lace is my right color, this would be seamless if you wouldn't even know what the wig, but this is like a really stunning wig. So that is wig number one. My natural colored way towards the end of the video I'll show the synthetic versus the real one. I have like one or two synthetic wigs. They don't have many. Now, here's the pink one, this one's not plucked very well um Foley's. Also another thing you can part them anyway, so say you you're, feeling a side part one day, you swoop it over with synthetic ones. You cannot always do that and with a frontal, even with human hair, if it's only a closure you're not flipping that hair around and obviously I might look a little weird because the makeup I normally match my makeup to my wig so or my wigs. My makeup. Vice versa, so this one is more: I've customized it to be more of a center part. I don't know if this is like on properly, but this is not like my most natural wig. I could definitely see some natural quality like when I put it on I'll. Also be putting photos throughout the video, so you guys can kind of see what it looks like if I really really indulge I'm putting it on, but this one can be natural depending on how I do it like. I also think this would be cute. It'S like a side part like a really hard Donatella Versace part, but this is not actually one of my favorite wigs. This is not the right color when I ordered it either. This was supposed to be hot pink, but then it came like this more. It was almost be like y'all are gon na clock me, but it's kind of like Nikita, pink, like more like blonde streaks and different things to be a little bit more peachy, but this is how it came it's more of like an off pink now. This has been one of my favorite woods forever. Everybody loves the teal blue. It looks a lot more teal in person. Here'S like a peacock color, so one thing also this week has some good baby hairs. Baby hairs are really important as well to make things look natural now again, hey I'm just throwing these on. This is not how I normally put on my wig, so I have no idea how things are looking here and then you could obviously, since they're human, you can curl them, you can wash them. You can flat iron them. You take care of them like it's growing from your head, except it's removable at night, like synthetic will flow but granted, I think everybody I've talked to. There are some people who disagree like they're, strongly against human hair. I understand, but the girls that I speak to. They'Re, like oh, my god, I love the way human hair flows. That'S my biggest thing is like just being able to see it like in action. Like movement is like the best thing ever now. I want more fun wigs like this. I love this. People are calling you Melanie Martinez. The girl Melanie Martinez did not in but half in half, but the goal is to have people saying what lace and right there what lace? I think this hair in particular, doesn't necessarily suit my face shape and that's why it looks a little off, but it's just still really pretty like just to look up on the mannequin head is like really pretty. I think if she was in a different style - and it's just so scary, how one side is black and then you turn and it like it's a completely different person. So this one in particular, I want to save 36 inches. It'S one of the really really long ones now. Another thing is a lot of people, don't like really long hair. One thing my hair is always blowing into my face. Getting use my lip gloss, I'm a glossy girl, so it always gets in my lip gloss. So you can have them shorter. I would say: if you're gon na buy a really long, wig wig don't cut it just sell it. Do not cut a really long way unless it's like frayed ends like really bad, but this is not but um. Unless it's getting really bad do not cut it, because the whole point is the inch is like, if you buy it, that long as you leave it that long or just buy us a shorter wig and again, obviously it's up to you if X, who am I To judge you, but I just think that once you, if you're buying, really long hair, you might as well leave it at that link cuz. It comes like that, since these are full lace, I would say if you do want to eventually cut it get bundles. That'S how the black wig was made. Is you buy bundles, you sew them onto a wig cap and then you take the frontal and sew the front onto the wig cap. That'S a whole nother tutorial see this one. Like I kind of bleached, I did it. I dyed this one myself. Normally I have a company that does them for me or Alessandra. Does them like Alison lagers, another man, hair stylist has them this one. I did myself so it's kind of my own tester, but there's a little block over here, but that's kind of like what it is normally bundles would be sewn in the back and then you would have your front here. So this would be like just like this and then you could glue that on. But then you could change the lengths all you want. You could even take out the bundles if you wanted to undo it. So this one actually came really sure it looks really blue on camera. It'S violet like it's. It'S like a really deep color like if you guys know just sending this is mouths hair color. It looks so strange on camera, but no she is really purple, and so this is like my mal hair, if you guys watch this ending, I'm obsessed with Disney. So this is my mal hair and she has all the ways to be WI. Cked see how that just like fell onto my head like seamlessly. This wouldn't like Alessandra, did an amazing job like she hasn't styled this wig in months, and yet it's still so soft and like silky and smooth it's one shorter, this one's 30 inches and to me 30 inches, it's a buzz cut. Claudinha has to do 36 or more. I know I'm such a diva when it comes to the length, but I normally like really want the length, but this one's 30 inches so she's about to cut for me literally one of my faves ever so one thing you can do if you're not gon na Glue down the wig, you just want it on really quickly. There'S adjustable straps in the back I mean really anyway, should come with strap that you can take a new clip like a bra and then this one that you tug under the the wig cap and then the front clips that you can tug under the wig cap. As well, normally I don't put on the clips because they do hurt, they hurt to have them in and glue them. It'S really really tight, but if you need something secure like if you're doing a pony tail, you're gon na need to really secure it another one of my favorite wigs is this red one. I never really wear it, but it just it looks so natural like just looking at it. Sometimes you have to cut the lace around here, like you always have to cut the lace generally like it. The lace will come down here. You cut the lace to fit your head, but then sometimes get to cut it even more like around your ear or something. So it really fits your head because this one's still a little long. I haven't really cut the least yet in terms of like around my ear. I don't have any brand brand new wigs that I could show you guys what I mean in terms of lace, but it's just thing. You could easily look up, it's like lace, wig and then see see if it was glued out that you see that line right there. If it's glued down, it would be flat, and it would just lay against my head like that this does not match. This. Look. Girl, what kind of Ronald McDonald Oh Wendy's, is quaking, so this is my longest wig 40 inches of hair. Here, like unreal so long, she looks really long flat ironed, obviously she's like wet and wavy right now, so she's curled, but uh. This hair is everything. This is like hands-down, like my go-to wig um, for day to day cuz. I do my makeup and go out. We believe it or not like if I'm just going to McDonald's. Sometimes I'll do my makeup and just go to McDonald's but um. This one still has makeup in it because I wore it recently, but that's another thing is like something I need to wash the lace cuz like my foundation gets like you guys can see that it's kind of gross, but you can see the makeup in the lace From the the glue mixing with the foundation it kind of just adheres together. I might not be able to really put this one on and show you guys kind of dirty, but she's, just a febrile one. I'M gon na show you guys the difference between the real and the synthetic. So this is my peach wig, that's natural hair, and then this is a synthetic wig. I did cut up some of the back, so I'll just ignore that part uh-huh, but okay. So here we can see. This is the synthetic way. Not all synthetic wigs are the same. There are higher grades of synthetic wigs. There are some really nice and Vedic wigs, so I'm not trying to bash synthetic wigs. Synthetic hair holds really well. Synthetic hair is very powerful because of the fibers, so you can style it and hairspray and it's gon na stay that way like forever. Until you take it out. Okay, oh girl. Okay, let me let me not make it look too bad now. So, let's just say this: this was it as you can see it's not plucked. This is a lace wing. There is a lace on this wig girl. This. I only buy lace front wigs when I buy synthetic hair, not a very deep lease, but there's no plucking involved. Most synthetic wigs you buy for like Amazon or a beauty supply store, do not have a plucked front. So that's one thing you can pluck synthetic wigs, but it is harder in my experience. It'S been harder to pluck them out of here. Here'S the human one. This is not the same color exactly, and it's obviously different styles, but see how like the right there. The part line makes it look so different, I'm probably just a little insecure right now, I'm probably on doing the best job representing any of these legs, but here's the peach wave. So, as you can see, it's pluck its parted and it is gon na look different than a synthetic one. For the most part, this is actually the since that I care and going for like a 2005, you guys might have actually seen this look. Yesterday. I work to beautycon the day. I upload it. It'S gon na be Beauty College, so this personal, this [ __ ] color, is everything. This is one of my favorite wigs one of my longest, wigs as well, this one's 36 inches. Also, this is my favorite looks ever. I just think the color is stunning, a super, vibrant and pretty, and the peach tones go well with my skin tone. Right now, like I said, I'm just feeling insecure about my makeup, so I feel a little indifferent but and see how it's full lace. So I could easily put it into a pigtail and you still see a hairline, so it makes it look like. Oh, it's growing from her head. If it wasn't full lace, you you could still put it in pigtails, but it's not gon na look like this and I don't have an example. So it's hard to say, but I can promise you it's not gon na. Look the same: there are full lace, synthetic wigs also they do make them. So if you wanted full lace like this, you could probably get a very similar effect with a fully synthetic wig. So now my favorite wig ever I just got this one, I'm wearing it today at beautycon for a very sexy special look, I'm excited for you guys to see. I worked really hard on it. I didn't make the way I worked hard on the look, but this wig is probably by far my favorite wig, yet she's, so soft and silky and she is hot pink. This color is everything in person. It does not compare like camera, doesn't know: justice she's, a hot hot magenta pink, oh my god. I love her so much she's, my favorite wig haven't worked her out. I'Ve never actually even styled her. This is this one again. This one is not fully styled. Yeah. I'Ve never styled this one. So that's why there's no like plucking really involved here, but just the colors everything and now I can kind of show you guys the party so Foley's wigs those glued down and be easier, but you can part it anyway. So if I wanted to suddenly part it this way, I would be good to do that. I would need to comb obviously and really part it or if I wanted to flip back over, do a center part. I could part it in the center. So that's the good thing about full lace. Wigs is that you could really style them they're. So, versatile. There are a great alternative to people with you know: hair loss, full lace. Wigs are really good with people who may have body dysmorphia or our trans and want wigs. I mean they also make male wigs. So there are fully Smail wigs who just it does give you a different confidence about it, but I think that they're definitely worth the price for me.
