Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so it's been a minute and I'm back with new hair wigs, yes, finally, alright, this video is with my really good friend Simone. She owns her own hair company, which is Bonita, hair boutique, which is this is where the wig is from and she was in town and she was just like you know, let's just pink wig and it's just so crazy, because I have been wanting to try like A pinkish, pastel, blondish type of wig and I think that she definitely nailed it. I'Ve worked with so many hair stylist from my past of being a salad and seriously Simone is probably the best like person to work with. I feel like she understands the type of look that I want to go for. I braided my hair and then she pretty much installed away because I had never done a front of way before so she installed it and you'll see we didn't do any top three, but all the products will be down a description. I mean I don't know what you guys think but like this is a full like frontal like it's like it's just, it's just so crazy to me, like it's so crazy, so anyways, let's just get jumping into this video. This is my braid pattern. I make sure I did small braids going towards the back and make sure I braided up my length. Then this is a protective shield that she added you can find this at your local beauty. Supply store. Whole purpose of the protective shield is to make sure that your hair isn't damaged from any tape or glue or any method that you use to make sure that your lace, frontal is laid. Basically. So you want to make sure that your hair is protected underneath and, although most of the time people use a wig cap which we did, she just wanted to make sure that my hair was perfectly flat. We end up using a mesh tone, skin complected, wig cap and pretty much. The whole purpose of this is to make sure that the hair is tucked away and it acts as a scalp, and she pulls the band over my hairline, so that the band part will eventually be cut off, so that there is no bulkiness and the lace frontal Is laid really really flat make sure to use your blow dryer to make sure that the gel is tacky so that, when you cut off the band part that the we cap doesn't slide off your forehead or your head. So that was the whole purpose of adding gel and, as you see, she's, adding an extra layer just to reinsure that it's on there perfectly fine. It won't slip away after each application. Make sure that you use a blow dryer to make sure that the gel or your adhesive is tacky, so that when you cut the band off it, doesn't the wig cap doesn't slide off? Also, please guys make sure that you take your time when cutting the band off. You do not want to cut your natural hair. You don't want to cut your skin either, so you know make sure that you take it on. She added the protective gel onto the wig cap on the loose ends, so that I could lay extremely flat and pretty much. The whole idea is to create the illusion of a scalp, and so we want to make sure that this doesn't, like you know, fall back off of my head and then will slip away. Actually so right here you see she's just using a blow-dryer and honestly we use the blow dryer so many times so yeah, but it's much needed and make sure that the blow dryer is on cold setting, not the hot setting, because you don't want to burn your Skin but as you can see, she's adding my foundation on to the wig cap, and you can also see that the wig cap wasn't fully dry it. And it's because we were pressed for time so yeah, but make sure that you use you know a foundation or usually the wig cap is perfectly fine, but just make sure if you do decide to use foundation that it's the same color as your scalp, then she Added some tape along the hairline so that the way can stay on more than a week or two or three. I believe this could stay up to three weeks and honestly after this whole wig was installed like I was pulling on his hair and it was not going anywhere. So this step is very, very much needed. We use the tweezers to take off the plastic part so that the double-sided tape would stick and not have any like residue from her fingers and we added the full lace frontal wig onto my head and that's why I had to like. Stick my head. All the way back, because she's really short - and I was so like do you see this wig is laid laid and we haven't even like done anything and it just it just looks so wrong and make sure to customize a wig for your head shape. Everyone'S head shape is different, so you see she cut off an ear piece just to you know, match my head and we used the got to be glue, which is a staple product for installing your lace frontals. So, as I said, she was going to be using the blow-dryer multiple times, and this is just to make sure that the of gel is tacky. At this point, we just started to style the hair she did wet. It wet the lace just a little bit just like a little bit, and only because that helps with making sure that it's really really flat. And you know you have a really seamless, looking wig. I just started to touch up on my makeup because I didn't have any makeup on my forehead because you're not supposed to have makeup on when you install the wig, because you're applying gel and all these other products to lay the way flat and the whole purpose Of not having any makeup on while you apply these products is to make sure that there's no like residue or stickiness or just pretty much. You want everything to be clean around the area that the gel will be applied. So this is pretty much it you guys. She is styling the hair in the back, but then eventually my sdcard ran out and I forgot to bring my extra one, so this is pretty much it for the video. As always. Thank you guys so much for watching this. I am so so so appreciative and Simonis too so make sure to check out Bonita, hair, boutique and I'll see you guys later. I do not know if this looks perfect, but I hope that it does. You know how some weed gets matter in here. Yes - and you know this is the final look you guys, I will tell you how I feel about this wig. Maybe when I do a tutorial on this hair, if you guys want to see a tutorial on, you know me curling this hair, but this is the Vanita Hair Boutique.
