How To Do Inventory & Organize Your Inventory [Hair Company]

What'S up youtube, it's your girl, tatiana b and i'm back with a really quick video. Today, i'm going to be showing you guys how to do your inventory um. This is specific. It'S going to be for hair extensions for my hair company. I was already doing it and i was just like this would be a really cool video to teach you guys about, because i know sometimes people don't really know how to do their inventory. So i'm gon na take you through it. Like i already said, i already was doing it um, it's not gon na be too detailed, but if you guys do want a detailed video i'll, do it just so, i'm already in like work mode and like it's not like i'm about to like slow down my Day i have a couple things i like to do this, so i'm like, let me just try to give you guys the formalities of it. So, let's get started if you've already watched. My last video, you already know what this setup is and what's really going on. So how i really do my inventory i'll just take you guys through my computer first, so how i do my inventory is um. I have. I have a setup on my computer through excel, and this is a template that i created you guys are free to feel it. This is a whole lot of free games, so make sure you subscribe to my channel because don't nobody tell you guys all the tea like i do so, but if you guys can see and i'll post a picture of it um, as you can see, i have The body wave i have the inches down below then i have the the ones that are supposed to be coming in on order. I have what's in stock and then i have a sold column. So on order is meaning anything that i'm just ordering in stock means. What'S in stock here, right now sold means if it's already sold, i just deduct it from the in stock and add it to the sold column. So, as you guys can see, i have one for straight. I have one for deep wave. I have one for water wave. I even have one for kinky straight and then i go down, and i have one for my full lace. Wigs also, which is the same thing body wave straight, loose, wave, deep, wave, um, kinky water wave again and then same thing for front tools, same thing for closures. Let me scroll down so then i have one for my russian blonde, full lace. Wigs. I have one for if i have many color wigs and the color wigs are a little different because you see they have like straight body wave and then it has a color section on the end. So that's how that goes. Then. I have one for my bob wigs in the natural color and then it has on order the parting size. So i have two 10 inches. I have a middle and a side and i have the same thing for 12: inch, middle and a side, and i have the same thing for 14: inch, middle and a side. So what i do basically and i'm going to show you guys a column. That'S already done is for straight i'll check here i have everything broken down by the inches. I have everything broken down by the inches um. So what i do here is all right, so we want to know how much straight 60 inch i have in stock. I checked this inch out. This is the only 16 inch i separated by itself all right, so it's only straight 16 inch, i separated by itself and then, when you go into my computer, you see i have one straight 16 inch right here. I already counted them out. These are all the 18 inch straight. So when you go into my computer, i already written down how many of them i have. So i basically do the same thing for everything here all right. So it's for everything i already i'm on. My body waves - i just finished that up and now i'm about to do my deep waves and then i have my closures and front tools all laid out over here. These are some orders. I have ready to go out. These are my edge controls, um and some more closures and stuff like that over here and my front, my bob wigs now, if you have not already watched my last video you're kind of not really understanding the setup so make sure you head over to that last Video, where i was um was i, where i was shipping out my orders. I taught you guys how to ship out orders so that'll be really cool for you to learn so right now, i'm just about to do my inventory. So if you are wanting to learn just go ahead and watch me watch me get it done baby, so i'm going to separate them by inches from um shortest to tallest. These are my neat way, i'm just going to separate them and then what i'm going to do is just basically i'm going to count through them and then jog down in my system, my exhale sheet, so we have 3 16 inches 1 18 inch, all right guys. So i just added um loose waves to my inventory, which means it's not something that i usually keep on hand, but i did notice that it started selling out more than um more than usual. So it's not here on my inventory sheet right. So i just kind of want to show you guys this cool one, how easy it is once you have your sheet, you set up your stuff. So since it's not here, what i'm going to do is copy it copy it. I'M just going to paste it right here and then right there. Yes, we're going to oh wait: oops we're going to change it from kinky straight to loose wave, it's so simple, like literally loose wave, and now i have a section for my loose waves, all right, guys, um. I have my wigs, i'm just gon na grab. All the wigs and take them over here and count them up. Okay, let me take a picture okay, so i'm going to put the 6 13 right over here and then these are natural color wigs i have in my hand, of course i have more coming in but they're on, um they're at customs due to clovis. So i'm just gon na count up what i have right now um. These are awful little wigs, okay, all right! So i know i have a 28 inch body weight 24 inch straight and a 26 is straight. So i'm going to put it in here 24 inch straight one 26 straight one um! I have my 18 inches right here. I actually just got some 24 inch brushes, which i've never gotten before sure, but yeah all right. So i have to add 24 inch front tools to my inventory. Now, oh and that's really, it's all right guys, so this is what it should look like after you update all of your inventory. Let'S get it right, so you see what's in stock, is what's in stock now i know what i need to order all right, guys, hi guys, so i had it on my to-do list today that i will organize my inventory and since i kind of already showed You guys a video of how i get in my inventory. I was like i might as well show them how i organize my inventory. So here we are, and i know i look a mess, but i'm at work. So it's like, if you care about my look while i'm getting to the bag, use a joke, so um, as you guys can see inventory is i got these cute little. Okay, all right! Let me bring it in so me and my boyfriend we stopped at ikea. I know i needed shelves because i didn't have an inventory um set up at my past location, where i shipped my products with my best friend. We had a salon and i had a sweet in there and i kind of already had an inventory kind of set up going on, but i knew it wasn't as functional as i it to be. So i know that i needed shelves for my inventory so me and my boyfriend. We went to ikea and we found like a bunch of cute shelves, but they were really expensive. So i thought: okay, can we just build one and he was like yeah, but let's go to walmart. First excuse me, so we went to walmart and we got these and they were about. I want to say 27 dollars and pop, so i ended up coming out of [ __ ] like 64 of week shows, and we built them. It took us about two days to build them, because we got lazy and decided to go, get wings and drinks. But that's another story, so really cute, really cute shelves or whatever um. What i did this is my office that we're staying in so i have to get a desk. I got to get a chair and some other things. That'S what i'll ship out my orders record. All the content for my youtube channel things like that, i got a whole room for my office. If you have not already watched my apartment tour go watch it because, like this is like coming to dream like this, is so satisfying as it already is, and nothing's really going on so far, so i got these pink um bins. I didn't want two bigger bins. Well, to be honest, i'll probably swap these out here like later on, but this is a good start, so i got these bins from dollar tree um, they're pink. So of course i got pink ones. I want my office to kind of be a color of like pink gold white - maybe some marble - maybe maybe not but yeah. So this is the in-home office inventory station. I'M going to get about two more. We just got two to see how it would function. As of right now, and to be honest, it's actually looking really good, so i probably only get about one more, maybe two. If i want, if my inventory grows i'll get two more, but what i'm going to do is i have these labels from my label? Printer um and they're they're sticky, so what i'm going to do is basically just cut them in half nothing too crazy, y'all, like i'm just going to cut them in half and i'm going to label the hair. So what i expected is like 16, 18 straight 20. 22 straight 24. 26 straight 28 strings. So i probably need to start this from like 14, 16, 18, 20, 20, 22, 24, 26, i'm lying 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 and 28 and longer 28 and up and i'll do the same thing for body weight. 16. 18: 20. 22, 24, 76 um i'll just throw one in right here, 28 and up right here is going to be the the water waves and deep waves. I'M going to put all the buttons in here just because my inventory for those inches are never really big. Anyways, so i'll probably have them right here, i'm probably going to split it up to the 16 through 22 inch and then 24 inch and 20 inch and up and these things i'm going to keep these as my body weight closures, bodyweight straight closures inventory. I have a lot of so i'm not going to bring you guys. Do it accustomed to something else, i'm going to do it accustomed to my own inventory system. If that makes sense, so let me show you guys all right all right y'all. So i know you want to bring: where did the other babies come was not letting me go along with what was going on, so i already wrote on the labels. As you can see, this one's like body weight 26 inch and up. I already wrote on them. Um i already wrote on them. I already wrote them so i'm about to just put them on here, like damn, like i'm really living like a dream, like the things i wanted for my business things i wanted for. My business are like coming true. You know so, and it's like i'm just glad that i stayed down like you know. I'M glad that the days that i wanted to put my business like legit, there's more all right guys. So, as you guys can see, i have a totally different outfit. To be honest, i was tired, um. This took me about three days to do. I was being lazy if we just be honest, everybody getting lazy days and i'm just having a person like. I don't feel like doing it. I ain't doing it, i don't care. So i was handling other things, but today i want to check out my orders, so i had to get it together, so i'm finally done um, so i kind of want to break it down to you just a little bit right here. I have my um straight 16 inch through 18 inches. I have my straight 20 to 22 inches, as you can see. It'S a lot. So, to be honest, i need about one more would be good in here, one more and then this opportunity to grow my inventory. I'M more, but one more right now is an indefinite need. As michelle and men's one more that needs to go right there um, then i have my 24 inch through 26 inch straight. We have 28 inch and up right here, um right here. We have 18 inch through 20 inch body weight 22 inch through 24 inch body weight, 26 inch and up body weight. Deep weight 16 inch through 18 inch um deep wave again water wave water wave loose weight 16 inch through 22 inch because i don't keep a lot of loose wavy stuff. I just put um about like four different variants in there twin loose way: 24 inch through 28, so i only have two bins for loose weight. That'S how much i really don't keep this stuff and the same goes for leeway. Waterways, loose wave only have two beds: full lace, wig, i'm gon na need another bed, definitely body wave and straight frontals body weight and straight closures. Um, deep waves and waterway front tools, deep weight, plus waterway closures, 10 inch bob legs. I have so many 10 inch. Bob wings: i need to do a bigger sale on them, so maybe that i didn't even put any more in there they're like to the side over here, because i'm like i'm going to ship outside anyways, i'm just grab it from the ones that's over there. Instead of grabbing that pop event um, then we have 14 inch and 12 inch broadway and, as you can see, that then is falling over. So it's like, i need another bed. I need another show like a rifle. So since this video is done - and this video took me two days - it was gon na be a one day thing, but it took me two, i'm glad that this video is done. I'M gon na get it uploaded at previous. Previously, when i was recording, i was like my last video, but then i uploaded a video yesterday. So this is my last last video you want to refer to what i'm talking about doing my inventory and shifting out, but this is me, organizing my inventory um y'all.
