Hey everyone is Rachelle, welcome back to my channel, so I'm back with another video for you guys and today I'm gon na be showing you guys this week right here that I got from a sister awake. I think this wig is pretty natural looking and I do think it's also very beginner friendly. So in this video, I'm gon na show you guys how I actually cut the lace off how I apply this week. So if you want to see how I do all of that, then please continue to watch alright. So let's get into this wig and this week is from a app a sister wig. You can definitely check out other reviews on this wig. This is my first time trying it out. I do think it's very beginner friendly. You get the elastic bands that come with it to help adjust the week to fit your head properly, and you also get two wig caps. So this is what the way it looks like fresh out. The box, the hair texture is body, weave, hair and the length is 24 inches. I will put all that hair info in the description bar down below, so this is what it looks like up close as you can see, the knots are very, very tiny. You guys, like I've, never seen a wig with not this tiny. I'Ve worn a lot of wigs and the knots are not this small. So that's one thing that I was very very impressed with, so it is a lace front wig. It is not a full lace wig, so just the front part is lace and it does have adjustment straps in the back also combs on the back and the side of the wig. Alright. So, as you can see, there is a tiny little knots at the forehead. Almost looks like little hair plugs, so that's what we have to bleach your knots now throughout the wigs. The knots are invisible like there is no knots throughout the wig. This is how it looks when the hairline is not tweeze. I'M gon na tweeze up the hairline. Just so, it can look a little bit more natural, so I'm gon na go in with my L'Oreal, quick blue and my salon care cream developer number 20 and I'm just gon na mix it together. I use probably three cups of the powder and some developer and you want it to have a very thick consistency almost like to pace all right so moving right along I'm gon na go ahead and I'm gon na apply that bleach. First, put your gloves on okay cuz, you working with chemicals, so I'm gon na go ahead and apply that bleach all over, actually not all over just at the very front hairline, because I don't need to apply it all over this lace front, because the knots are So tiny they're invisible, you can't see them so there's no point to bleaching them, I'm just applying it at the very front and I'm gon na leave this on for about 15 minutes. I don't need to leave it on any longer, because the knots are very small, and this is what it's looking like right now. Do you see how good that looks you guys, like the knots, are practically invisible. So now I'm gon na go ahead and put my wig on my wig head, because we are gon na go ahead and tweeze and customize that hairline so grab yourself. A little water bottle make sure you wet up the front of the wig before you tweeze it. It'S a lot easier for you to tweeze it right, so you're gon na need a comb and you're gon na need a tweezer, make sure you have a really good tweezer and I'm gon na go ahead and start off by parting, the hair. So you want to make sure the hair is a bit wet before you tweeze, and this is how I'm gon na part it and then I'm gon na go in with my tweezer and I'm gon na start tweezing behind that hairline. So when I parted I'm not tweezing on the part, you guys I'm actually tweezing behind the part. So I go behind the hairline and I also go at the front of the hairline. But I don't take out too much hair in the front, because I find that this wig, I really did not need to do a lot of tweezing to make it look natural and also try not to tweeze the same exact area over and over. Because that's how you will end up with bald spots - and you don't want bald spots in your way, trust me. It'S happened to me plenty of time, honestly guys when I started making these wigs. I used to practice my tweezing. Unlike my old raggedy, wait. Okay, I've been wearing wigs for a long time, but I haven't been making them for a long time, so I used to practice on my old wigs now I just went in my hot comb, so I could see if I like how it's looking and so far It'S so good. I like how it's looking. Do you see the difference with the other side and this side that side is more full and that side is a little bit more natural looking, so I'm gon na go ahead and do the same thing to the very front of the wig and also on the Other side, so I'm gon na speed this up, because it is very repetitive I am doing the same thing over and over, but I hope this part of the video was very helpful to you guys who are new to tweezing and customizing the wig hair line, the I'M very happy with how the hair line is looking, I'm not gon na over tweeze her. I don't want her looking bald, so I'm just gon na go in with my flat iron now and I'm gon na go ahead and straighten this hair. So, like I mentioned before, this is a body with texture, but I'm just gon na rock it straight today and I went in with my hot comb as well just to make it look nice and flat on the top. Cuz, don't want to look bulky and I'm just gon na go in with some hair mousse just to get rid of any flyaways, so it's not frizzy on the top. Now this lace is transparent lace and I love transparent lace, because you can literally tint the lace to match your skin tone perfectly. I find out sometimes companies. They send me lace and the lace wigs. They don't match my skin, because it's too Brown - and I rather have it transparent that way, I can match it perfectly to my skin, so I'm gon na go in with a lace hint. This is by the wig gurus in the shade that I use is pure beige. Absolutely I love this product. It comes in, I think, 4 different shades and I'm just gon na go ahead and apply this all over the lace and it's literally gon na match my skin perfectly. When I apply this wig, so it's gon na look more natural for the transparent lace. It'S way too light on the skin, so you can darken it, but once the lace is already dark, you can't lighten the lace. So that's why I prefer to use transparent lace, because I can tint it. So I'm gon na go ahead and just cut off that excess piece of lace on the back of the wig, because I don't need that whatsoever. So now I'm gon na put my wig on, and this is how she's looking I do have my wig cap on already and I did the ball cap method. I have a very detailed video on that. I'M just giving you guys a close-up. Look at that lace. Like I love it, it looks really really natural. The glue that I use to apply my wig is the lace grip glue. It'S actually my first time using it in this video, so I can't really go in on details if I in love with it just yet I'll, let you guys know in another video all right, so I've already applied the glue to my forehead and I apologize you Guys, I didn't get to show you guys that clip because I actually lost that clip. But I do have a very detailed video on how I do that already. So I'm just gon na go ahead and cut that lace and I like to use a scissors, and I also like to use the eyebrow razor. So that's what I used to cut my lace. You have to be very careful with that eyebrow razor, though, because if you're, not careful, you can cut your skin. So just take your time and be very careful, so I know a lot of people have troubles with this part right here, cut in the lace. So just basically watch what I'm doing, and this is how I cut my lace for all of my wigs. I find that it's easier should do it like this. The first time - and obviously you don't have to do this again when you wear your wig, because the lace is gone, so I'm just gon na add a bit more of that glue and go in with my sponge and then go in with my blow-dryer and make Sure you're drawing it on cool and just press that glue in to press that lace wig into that glue, just so it's nice and melted and she's not going anywhere. Okay, alright guys, so this next step right here can be a little tricky for me. So I'm just pulling down on that lace and then cutting it where my ear is and that excess lace behind my ear, I'm gon na cut that off. I go in with my razor to cut off all that excess lace and I go in with my scissors for the harder lace, because there's some lace that I can't reach with the razor. So I just use my scissors and I'm gon na - do the same thing on the other side as well. So that's how you cut that extra lace off so your ears are not covered alright, so once the lace is all cut off, I'm going to go ahead and apply a layer of that Lu. I know I should use a thinner layer. I was a little bit heavy-handed here you guys honestly, but I went in with my sponge and I'm gon na go ahead and dry, that on cool and just wait for the glue to get clear and then I'm gon na go ahead and apply that lace onto That glue and I'm using a popsicle stick as you can see, so I'm not using my rat tail comb right now, because I actually have glue all over my rat tail comb and if there's glue on it, you wan na make sure you clean it off. First, before you go in with it, because you'll get the excess glue all over your wick, hey Simba, my cat is so cute. I know I know being super needy right now. He wants all the love and attention anyways back to the wig. So again, I'm pressing that in make sure that your comb is clean if you're using a rat tail comb and I'm drying that on cool. So this is how she is looking right now, I'm gon na go ahead and pull out some baby hairs. So I don't want to do any like very thick baby here. I just want it to be nice and thin and wispy to keep it on the more natural side. Honestly, I feel like baby hair should be optional if you prefer them to be thicker, then go right ahead and do you. This is how I like to wear mine, and I am NOT the best at doing baby hairs. I always say that, but I'm gon na go in with my toothbrush and I just have some hair mousse on that toothbrush. That'S all I'm using just a little bit of hair mousse and I use my eyebrow razor to cut and that's pretty much it. And yes, those are pantyhose. I'M gon na use that to tie down my hair, so my wig looks nice and melted. I just tie it down for like five minutes. You can use a hair scarf as well. To do this. I didn't know where my hair scarf was so I just used some yeah, so I just literally leave it on for about five minutes, and then I take it off and I'm just gon na go in with my hot comb again just to make sure that my Wig is looking nice and flat honestly, guys, like I think it looks really really natural. I love the lace on this wig, I'm very impressed with it. I'M very impressed with the fact that the knots are practically invisible. The only thing was just the front part of the wig wasn't as invisible, but I think this week is beginner-friendly and if you don't want to do the glue method, you don't have to. I like the glue method, because I like what my wig looks and nice and melted, and this work has the adjustable straps in it. So you can wear it glueless if you want to. I also have a got to be free spray method, so, instead of using the glue, I have that method that video on my channel so I'll link it in the description bar down below so yeah comment down below. Let me know what video you guys want to see. Next, let me know what you guys think of this wig and I will see you guys in another video very very soon. Just seeing it from the front all the time does not answer all my questions. Thank you.
