Installing A Wig For The First Time | I Bought A Beauty Supply Store Wig

I can't see my first time putting on a wig y'all. Okay, you guys, as you can see, i already went ahead and cornrowed my hair, i put about 10 cornrows in my hair. Before i go any further, let me show y'all the way this is the wig. I picked up from the beauty supply store. It is the model model brand. It says it's a freedom, part lace right. You can basically shift the part like look right here in the picture. I'M gon na throw it on and just see what it's hitting for without any customization first. So let me take it out the box wow bro. This is long. This is oh, my way. Don'T know it's about to go down right now. Oh, that's! Not the code! Here is the lace like i said: there's no ear tabs, so the lace kind of begins and ends right before your ears on the sides and then on the inside. We have the laced part and that's really the only part - that's laced inside the cap, but i think that's good. It gives me free range to do some plucking and put some concealer if i choose to which i probably will continue on with the inside. So we have the adjustable straps on each side and then i have one single comb in the back and two in the front. I'M just gon na go ahead and put my wig cap on and then we can get right into this. Where you go, you know the deal. If you be watching big videos, you know the deal. Let me tell y'all disclaimer i've watched if not hundred thousands of wig videos before this, so i'm betting on this to come out right, but don't deep, miss a tutorial. Okay, just yeah all right, so anyways yeah. You know what i'm about to do with this. If you know i'm going to lay my edges back, nice and slick with this they've got to be invisible, styling gel! Oh, it dries pretty quick! Ah, okay, let's see how this fits on my head right on the dome. Hopefully i don't rip this because i am known to be pretty heavy here all right. I can't see hey hold on okay, that bad. If i'm on something i'm just gon na, let it dry air dryer the rest of the way. In the meantime, i'm going to put some makeup on this lace. It'S really not much. To put it it'll, make a difference. Nonetheless, just picked up the nyx professional makeup. Can'T stop won't, stop it matches me pretty. Well, oh, or does it, i don't even know what y'all really want. You want to see how this go. It'S like kind of hard to put this on, because it's such a little surface area like damn, you just coat it on here, pretty good until it looks tinted. Oh okay, hello, okay! Now, what's on i'm really just trying to inspect wow, you guys! Look! It'S not! So bad hold on. It has like a little bit of like layers to it. Like you see that, oh my gosh, oh, i picked a nice one. I like this anyways, i'm really nervous about this whole lace thing you guys, like i don't know and the part yeah, i'm definitely plucking the part. I like this already yep, okay yeah, i'm just gon na cut, start cutting okay y'all. I have my ghost bond here. I also have popsicle sticks, i'm official, i'm gon na try and take my time with this and not put too much. But here we go wait now, i'm thinking about it, the lace isn't even all the way around. Oh yeah, i didn't put the wig on first. Oh all, right all right, not too bad. I just feel like now that i'm looking at it, i probably should have cut all the way to like up there and it's getting clear so fast, like oh i'm, just gon na go back over again. This is i'm just going to cut the tabs on not the tabs, but the cap on the side that i don't need, i'm about to just like cut it off. I really got a wig on my head. I really got ta pick up my hey, i'm gon na melt it down with the ebb and whatever it's called yeah that right there and um, and then i have my like wig band. I didn't even open it. It says perfect, melt, elastic band, it better be a perfect melt that has the velcro, while you guys have never seen myself like look like this and it's about to look better. I think i'm gon na pluck before i melt that, or can i pluck it while i'm melting, no, it's gon na be in the way like when i tell you this thing is on secure like or maybe it's because i've never had a wig on my head. So i don't know how it's supposed to feel, but that feel like it's gripping my head, like no guys, you know, i'm gon na have to clean up so bad after this, like, i did not anticipate a mess, but it's it's happening all right y'all. So i'm about to just pluck a little bit like honestly, nothing too crazy, but i just need it to look a tad bit more open. Maybe i should spray it a little spray with a little water pull it like you mean it just don't make a hole. I think i'm going to do a trick that i did watch someone do where they like just ever so slightly, and then they pull it because it's taking too long for me, i'm just kind of keeping with this method just a couple times and then like to See what it looks like look at that coming along yeah baby, i kind of already like how the front looks, but i think it could have a little bit more of like a tea look. You know what i mean, so it looks like a little bit more natural y'all. Let me know if it starts to look too wide now, all right, i'm really just trying to think about. You know like how my hair naturally looks when i make a part. So that's my inspiration right now. I don't want nobody up and near me and, like you know what i'm saying i feel like, i need a second perspective, so maybe i need to like just chill on this for a little bit before i go crazy and i'll also like sit off the top. Anyway, so once it looks a little more flat, it might look a little bit more natural, my first time putting on a wig y'all. Oh i forgot y'all. I was supposed to fix the the straps in the back. I didn't just put it on my head, and it was just okay. This will be doing is what you're doing i could have made it so much tighter. It feels snug, but like not really, let me stop playing, i mean i'm not playing right, i'm getting the job done. Yo the shedding on this hair is like crazy, like it's crazy and like to the point where even just doing my hair right now, it's kind of giving me anxiety because, like there's hair everywhere, i'm hoping that sending the wig out a little bit will help with The tangles it'll look more natural it'll have better movement here are the thinning shears. This is what they look like. That'S really pretty, though, if you like a full wig like this, is it it's just again the shedding like? I can't y'all y'all you guys if you can see the difference already. Please comment difference down below because hold on. Let me just finish: yeah yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah, so i'm gon na brush it out now and let's see how much hair comes out and how much hair comes out will determine if i'm going in one more time all right, y'all yo, i might have to Do it one more time granted the thinner i make it the less tangles there will be so at least i won't have to brush it after, like i'm done with all this, i went through the second time just on this half and can y'all see how, like This is giving light and flowy a little transparent and then, like this side, is giving like. You know it's giving a little bit of wig but, like i said, if you want it to look more full and like a higher density, then by all means like this is still cute. That'S what i'm looking like, but this is the first time i'm doing the wig and i just really am trying to execute that natural look. So i just wanted to show y'all like the difference, because you can really see like now that i went through the second through all right. I'M just gon na go ahead and finish this side. Yo, i'm gon na show you the brush in a second it's barely shedding, but look. This is how much hair is coming out right now, as i'm brushing it. If y'all see my brush earlier, when i showed y'all, this is all the hair that i freaking took out with my thinning scissors. So let's just check out what this lace is. Looking like, i'm gon na do my baby hairs. Let'S see what i can do here with these with the babies i'm just gon na here we go y'all pray for me, pray for me. I'M just put that on the lace and then i'm going to get my satin scarf and put it around here. So my hair is all tied up in the meantime, i'm just going to style my hair and i'm just going to straighten it today so yeah my hair is done being styled, and this is what it looks like straightened. What we got to do now is let these edges set. And yes, i am getting a headache, but i know it'll be worth it so when everything is set and ready i'll be back to y'all all right, you guys. So this is how my hair is looking right. Now i went ahead and added concealer and powder to my parts. It does look way more seamless and realistic and all those good things - and i did also add some concealer right here, because the lace was showing out just a little bit. And then i dabbed a little bit of my bronzer right here on top of the concealer. So it kind of matches my skin tone a little more than the lighter concealer. I think this looks pretty good for my first install you guys, what do you think please?
