This videos demonstrates exactly how I wear my crochet braid units/wigs. I've published several crochet braid wig tutorials (ALL of which you might find entertaining and helpful)! No matter the style, whether crochet braids with kanekalon, marley hair, or mambo twist, the way in which I construct the cap is important and consistent across the board. Since creating some of my first crochet braids wigs, I have received questions about how I wear my unit and how I go about placing it on my head. So you know, I thought it would be best to the look as you can see, I'm wearing a brown colored wig cap and I like brown, because it creates less of a contrast in comparison to the hair that I'm wearing as opposed to nude or black. And this set, I had to include this in this video, because if you do not understand what I am doing here, you must go watch the video. So you can learn how to not shrink your wig cap and, as you can see, the portion of the mesh net cap that I am Bobby pinning into place. This is how I create an area so that I can locate the back of my wig right offhand and it creates more space, so you can best fit your wig on your head. Now I'm laying my wig on a flat surface and I'm going about finding the back of my wig cap its most distinguishable because it has the most visible holes and once you look at the back, you can locate the front as the front is opposite to the Back of court, and then you can locate these sides of your wig now a really really good tip for beginners or someone who's doing this. For the first time I like to locate the sides by actually placing bobby pins in this general area, so you're like what do you mean? Okay, so you see that mesh band I'm going to take a bobby, pin and just place it right over the mesh band, because this is going to constitute as one side of our wig and I'm going to do the same thing on the opposite side. So I can, you know, locate these and grip these, as I am putting my wig cap on just make sure they don't get tangled into the hair, so grip them as tight as you can and as you can see, I'm gripping those bobby pins into my palms As well as the mesh and I'm keeping that in the grasp of my fingers and I'm going in I'm going in girl, so literally I am going to keep the bobby pins within my grasp and I'm going to slowly put this wig onto my head and I'm Not going to flip my hair back immediately, you see I'm taking my time and I'm actually going to pull the back of the wig downward, so the mesh band needs to come down below the nape of your hairline and that actually helps you to situate your bang. In the front of your head and of course, you're going to have to do a bit of adjusting and that's the beauty of a crochet braid, wig you're always going to get something different. But I have best distinguished my bangs. So I can always locate the front of my hair and it's just a bit easier that way and that's how I do it there's a little bit of fluffing and primping involved, but nothing too heavy and girl. That'S all I do. I hope this helps you guys. Thank you for watching
