Hey guys today, I'm going to show you how I styled my Elsa wig. First I put on this beautiful lace, front wig. I got from Amazon, it's the perfect color and so full and has very high quality fibers with different tones throughout the wig. As you can tell I'm having a lot of fun with it, since it's so beautiful, it's also heat resistant and very long, I will add a link to where you can get this wig in the description. I got a second wig like this for Queen Atlanta and there are a bunch of other cosplayers. That would be great for first, I start by sectioning off the hair in the front, and I keep it separate from the hair in the back by twisting it into a bun. I carefully section each piece because these will be the pieces that I'm going to trim and spray down later. I also take little sections of hair in the front of each ear that will be trimmed and used as sideburns, and I finished sectioning off the front. Then I brush all the hair to the side that the braid will be. I spray it with God to be spray glue, as I brush it to the side. This really helps make it look clean and hold its shape, since the hair is so full. I take my time to make sure I thoroughly brush the hair over all the way to the base. Then I section the part that will be braided into three parts and spray them as I go at this point, you can start a French braid from the back of the head and end it at the nape of your neck, then turn it into a regular braid. I'M really horrible at French braids and I don't see it making much of a difference anyway. So I skip that part and go straight to a regular braid. Since this wig is layered, I make sure to brush down any loose hairs. As I braid, I prayed all the way to the bottom of the hair and tie it in place, then I use my fingers to gently tug at the hair to loosen the braid and make it wider. Here'S what the braid looks like finished, then I move on to the hair that I sectioned off earlier. I take it out of the hair tie, but before I continue, I put a sheet of paper under my braids, so the fibers don't get caught on my shirt and mess up the braids. I brush out the loose hair in the front, so it's not tangled! Then I brush it back and begin sectioning it. I start with the sideburns and tightly pulled him under my chin and tied them together to hold my wig in place on my head. Then I wrap the paper fully around the braid to completely protect it from getting messed up. Then I start taking sections of hair in the front and trimming them shorter. I slide the scissors up and down on the hair, as I cut it. So the ends are wispy. Then I brush and spray the hair down in place. I use my fingers to carefully adjust it, so it falls just right. I do this on the other side as well. I trim the hair by sliding the scissors back and forth. As I cut, then I brush and spray the hair down in place. I section off a little loose piece in the front, then I continue trimming the hair on the top and spraying it to hold it in place. I continue trimming the loose hair until it's all the right length once it's trimmed, I Section it all and brush it, and I used my fingers to make sure it falls on my head. Just right. I use got to be sprayed to hold the hair in place in a small comb to keep the hair smooth. I use a dot of hot glue on the loose piece of hair in the front to hold the curve and twist then I trim the hair short and I used some hairspray on the tip to hold it down. I also used some got to be gel with my hair sprayed to give it a stronger hold on the point, I will add a link to both these awesome hair styling products. In the description, the gel is also used to brush down the sideburns to keep them holding their shape. When the gel dries. I trim the sideburns to be much shorter. Then I checked the wig and adjust hairs that I might have missed. I also go back and use hot glue to hold sections of hair in place and when I take off the wig, I completely hot glue the underside of the braid, so none of it moves. Unfortunately, I don't have footage of that, but it's pretty easy to do and that's pretty much it for the wig. I really hope you found this tutorial helpful and can now style your own Elsa way, or maybe you learned some tips that would be helpful for another cosplay. I will add all the links to products in the description so check that out. I also have a makeup tutorial for Elsa and many other cosplay tutorials on my channel. Thank you so much for watching guys, bye,

Sunstar: So much more went into shaping and styling this wig than I initially thought. You are very talented

KayleeKakes: Why does that wig look better than the official Disneyland wig

FullmetalQuinn :P: Wig styling has always been something I’ve struggled with so I really adore and appreciate your videos. Thank you

Starbit: The way you work your wigs is actual magic!! I'll be using this for my new Elsa wig for SURE, thank you!!

Storm Cosplay: This is amazing! you’re my absolute favorite cosplayer

Anathema Device: You are so talented!!! I love this cosplay of yours and I'm really happy to see another video!! Hope you're feeling the best that you can!!

OctaBech: The level of ingenuity and craftsmanship going into these cosplays never cease to impress me.

JytteH / Kryptonian Cosplay: This is so amazing! You literally transform everything and into anyone .... This tutorial really makes me want to bring back my Elsa cosplay and try to style my own wig

BionicBear: Absolutely gorgeous! I hate when people end up making her look like she's got a mullet! Lol. Your version is even better, and more screen acurate, than even some of the Elsa's that you can find in the official Disney Parks! I kid you not! Your talent is off the charts! I'd love to see you create more of Disney's beautifully strong female characters! I do have a couple questions, if you don't mind, about the Got2b Glued products... I've never used them before, but I've seen them pop up a few times on YouTube. Have you ever used them on your natural hair? And if so, does it create an unusual texture or sheen to the hair's appearance in person? Like, you know how when someone uses way too much product and their hair looks kinda (for lack of a better word) crunchy. Because I've heard that Got2b Glued is exactly like it sounds, it glues your hairstyle in place. Like, you could stand outside in a hurricane and your hair won't budge kind of hold. But does it create an overly applied product type of look to the hair? And then once the day is over, how hard is it to actually get it out? Like, do you have to wash your hair more than once or use any kind of special product to strip it from your hair? I'm into vintage styles, and I would love to give the Got2b Glued Hairspray a try for some of my 40's looks. But, to be honest, I'm kind of scared and it's a little pricey. I like the idea of the extremely strong hold, but I don't want to compromise the fluffiness of the pincurls. I'd choose fluffy over crunchy any day. Lol.

Anita Villamor: Aly this is amazing you never cease to amaze us i hope you also post the hela wig you made

W Y: Ahhh thank you for sharing your wizardry with us again! If I may suggest a video idea, could you do a walkthrough of your cosplays throughout the years, with an emphasize on your early years in cosplay? I know you occasionally share old photos on Instagram, but it would be such a treat to see an in depth video on how your cosplay journey kicked off, how you evolved your techniques (in make up, costumes, wig making) as well as techniques you may have discontinued using. It would be also super fun to see the cosplays you were really proud of at the time, as well as ones that didn't turn out so well. You've mentioned a couple times that you've been adding to your Jack Sparrow cosplay for 10 years, so it would be super cool to see a yearly evolution of it, if you have those photos available! I think a video like this would not only be really fun and interesting to watch, but it would also be super inspiring to see how your skills evolved over the years to become the incredible cosplayer you are today. We all start somewhere! :D

Einat Harel: I just wanted to tell you a HUGE thank you for this tutorial. it helped me transform a truly horrible wig into something I could be really proud of.

Ada Suárez: Beautiful!! I love all your cosplay

Lex Pfeffer: thank you so SO much for making this! i was just going to buy a new elsa braid (the one i had before was very poor quality in the first place) but this inspired me to decide and style an elsa braid myself! this tutorial is super helpful and you are super talented!

Steph C.: Do Ariel next please!!!

Alrynnas: Thank you so much for sharing this! How you cut your bangs proved immensely helpful for a wig I'm working on. I had already cut my wig's bangs (long, thankfully) and wasn't very satisfied with the ends and knew they would need work. Then you release your video, and shortly after, I try your cutting method and the bangs look so much better now even with my lack of practice in wig-styling. Thanks for sharing with us your tips and tricks on how you make your cosplays! Your work is simply incredible.

Matteo Giombetti: 100% accurate! Great Job !

Jadyn Berhardt: Your content has actually been an inspiration to create cosplay! More specifically the Edward Scissorhands hands

Ekiia Cosplay: Me encantan tus vídeos!!! Los explicas muy bien!!!

ミgrandheroking: this is so awesome!!! you're seriously amazing...

Pyrin: I've seen your work online before, but I'm so thrilled to discover you do YouTube tutorials! I love that you're not afraid to show yourself looking a bit silly- tying the sideburns under your chin cracked me up, but it's a great tip! Looking silly is a big part of the process that not many people see or are willing to put out there.

Nickell Francis: Love the wig,beautiful

Madison Mahlendorf: Wow the hot glue is so smart! I never thought about doing that! I hate when a style moves that I can’t Bobby pin down and this seems perfect!

Neil Rosenau: She looks amazing even without Elsa' makeup :))))
