Grwm || Quick Fix Crochet Wig Using Braiding Hair + Makeup || Paynette Joan

Friends,

This is probably the longest video I have ever shot or posted, allow me to apologize in advance because the entire video is on hyperspeed.

I took on a challenge that I ended up loving. My good friend Sandy Joan (check out her channel- https://www.youtube.com/c/SandyJoan ) suggested that I should do a wig installation video, so I decided to take it to the next level and show you how I make my crochet wigs from scratch!

I loved the outcome so I much I did a mini shoot, using my phone, so make sure you check out my Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/paynettejoan... ) to see the pictures!

Thank you so much for watching,

See you at the next one!

Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel. Are you excited for this transformation? Well make sure you watch this video all the way to the end. I am going to start off by making a wig i have made wigs before, but i have never made a wig purely out of braiding hair. So, as you can see, my dummy is ready and my wig cap is ready and i'm using a lace, wig cap, because i want the front to look like it's part of my scalp. I am using the abuja extra long braid in the number one stroke 33.. Making a crochet wig is not easy. It takes a lot of time, especially the front bit. This is because you want the front to look as neat as possible and you want to seal the roots as much as possible. So at the front i take very, very small sections of hair and then i just crochet as normal, because the lace is very, very thin. You want to at least grab two to three squares of lace before you can wrap the hair, otherwise it will break and then, when tying the hair, don't make it too tight, because if you pull it too tight the strands on the lace will snap. I usually start with the front because it is the most tasking beat. It requires a lot of keenness and precision so that the end result looks really nice. So that's why i start with, and i prefer to have it done first. So this is what it looks like once i have sealed the front guys. I hope you can see that the roots are completely covered, and that is what makes a good wig and a good frontal if you want to learn how to hide that you've done crochet and how to create a seamless finish for your frontal. You have to dm me because you have to attend classes for that. My crochet needle broke before i could finish this hairdo, so i had to take a break and then it the next day when buying a crochet needle avoid the wooden handle ones. They are very weak and very thick do not buy those ones buy the ones that have plastic handles. I'M finally done. I'M finally done i'm so excited to be finally done. Um working with braids is difficult because it sheds its messes everything. It'S just all over the place and i have been sitting for the past six hours. My back is on fire, but we are done. I have never done a week this fast before putting a comb into this wig, always always always detangle with your fingers. Braids are difficult to work with, and this is just a quick, thick wig. This is not a wig you're going to say i'll stay with it for two years. No, this is a wig you're, probably going to wear for a month, and then it will be too tangled to use anymore next. We are going into the make of the makeup, i'm sure. By now, you guys have noticed that this video is probably going to be on hyperlapse throughout. I didn't want a very long video i just wanted to share with you how to do a transformation, and especially crocheting a wig using purely braid, so i'm trying to just make sure the video is not two hours long by the way, guys if, by the end Of this video, you love my makeup and you'd love me to do makeup. Videos please comment so that i plan for it, because i would love to do makeup videos, but then, if you guys are willing to watch it, then i would. I have really been taking time to learn how to do proper makeup and what inspired me most was the bride whose wedding i did makeup and hair for, and it was just amazing, and so i'm really excited to see where this goes do by the way. I did not use a concealer at any point while doing this makeup. Look, i purely use two different shades of foundation, one that is quite light and then my shade of foundation do do when i started making this wig. I did not know what to expect at the end, but i totally love the result, and so what i normally do is because most of these wig caps, they usually come with an elastic band and you can't really adjust it once you clip it in. That'S it. It actually holds quite well. I just make sure that i've, you know, secured the elastic and then i take foundation. That is my shade and i just applied onto the netting the clear netting just make sure i dab that in properly until it looks like my skin and then we wear the wig, so i've never really bought a wig all the weeks i have i have made Them myself and i'm not sure if i usually wear the wigs correctly, but what i normally do is i make sure that i turn the wig to face me so the same way, you'd wear a t-shirt. That'S how i wear my wigs. I just throw their elastic to the back of my head, make sure it's secure, throw the hair back and then that's it. I'M not sure. If there's a formula for doing this, i just that's just how i do it friends. I was totally blown away by this hair like i'm so happy this hair just impressed me, i'm so impressed i feel like um. The the the front part is just so nice nicely done and um the hair is so light. It looks so good, especially when i hold it back. Oh my god, when i hold it work, it looks so nice and i just love it. I think i'm gon na wear this hair for a long time and if you'd love to see it hot watered. I think i might eventually do some palm rods on it and put it in hot water to get some curls i'd love to see how that works out. But i love it. I love it so much. It was giving me all this diva vibes and all thank you so much for watching this video all the way to the end, if you loved it, if you'd love to see more content like this, if you know someone who might like this video, please make sure You share it with them.
