Hi loves welcome back to my channel, so today I wanted to do kind of like a hair and outfit get ready with me. So the unit that I will be using today is from units hair, and this is one of their bet. You units so this unit is a 28 inch, 150 density body wave unit and, as you can see, it does come slightly pre plucked and then I'll go ahead and show you guys the inside, because this is a 6 by 13 front. So that means you get 6 inches of parting space like going all the way back and then it's just a regular cap construction in the back. So, like always, gon na start out with getting my hair nice and put back I'm gon na do a middle part. This time normally, I would just do like complete slicked back or do like two braids or something like that. But I'm gon na do one braid going back and then just pin it up with a bobby pin and I'm doing the middle part, because I'm going to do leave out with this unit. So I'm kind of getting tired of having to glue like the frontal. All the way down in the front and doing that whole thing. So I decided to go back to what I used to do and I'm going to pull some of my hair out in the front and use my actual hair line for this unit. And you guys are gon na see how it comes out in the end. So I started off by putting my wig grip on top of my wig cap, because I wasn't gon na glue it down at first. I wasn't really sure exactly how I was going to do this when I started so I went ahead and started off with my wig grip and then I'm just taking the Sally Hansen leg spray. I think this is in medium. If that's what I said and I'm gon na use this to coat the unit because I didn't bleach it, I didn't want to lose the original Crowe pattern. You know how the curls kind of changed once you wash the unit, but I wanted to keep this as long as possible. So I went ahead and I just used the Sally Hansen leg spray to bleach my knots. If that makes sense, and then I'm gon na go ahead and pull out just a tiny bit of my hair in the front just so, I can use my natural hair line. So once I had the hair that I was going to use out, I'm just gon na go ahead and kind of like just lightly use the flat irons over my hair. It'S sizzling because I didn't let it dry. It was still wet for me pulling it back in a ponytail but yeah. I just went ahead and lightly straighten it. I'M not really worried about this part of my hair because it's gon na be kind of tough TIFF. That makes sense so yeah. I went ahead and did that and then you guys I put the unit back on and then I use the white one, the yellow jar, the got to be glue, haven't used this one in so long, but I keep seeing my girl Dom use it and I'm, Like let me just give it a try again because it does have a stronger hold, but it's just it's the white feeling. Sometimes the white just doesn't go away. Besides, you guys can see right here. I took the whit grip off because it wasn't laying as flat as I wanted it to lay so I'm just gon na go ahead and take the wig cap and press it into the got to be glue jail, leaving just a little bit of it out. So I can have enough of it so that the wig, the lace part of the way sticks to it. So I added the free spray just so that I could have a little extra layer of hold and then I'm just gon na blow dry. It a bit to get it nice and tacky and to make sure the cap is actually like sticking to my hair and that it's sticky enough for the lace to stick to my hair. If that makes sense - and I'm just gon na go ahead and press my unit into place using the end of a rat tail comb in the blow-dryer to kind of set it and make sure it's completely dry and it's not gon na budge once the unit is Dry and in place, I just went ahead and added a little bit of my foundation powder mixed with my actual, like foundation liquid and I'm just gon na go ahead and trace over my actual parking area of my row, scalp and kind of blend that into the Parting area of the wig, and then we want to take my lovely piece edge control like always, and go ahead and slick. My edges back. Lastly, I'm taking a little bit of the foam, wrap a lotta buddy phone wrap just so that I can get my part in nice and straight and sharp, and then I'm just going to take my comb and get it as straight as possible and then I'll join. You guys into you guys could see a close-up of what it looks like so yeah. This is pretty much it for this video guys. Ron Williams: I don't give a damn, but that using your own edges is everything. That's how we used to always do it before those lace wigs came out with the baby hair and that changed the whole wig.That wig looks so real once you use your own edges. Look the wig diva her self Mrs Diana Ross still uses her own edges and I'm sure that she is well aware of all these lace wigs. Girls need to get back to using this method.
