How To Cut The Lace Off Your Full Lace Wigs

How I cut the lace off of my lace wigs.

Hi and welcome to my channel - I just want to come on today to do a video of how I cut the lace from my foolish units are either a googler lace front or either the glueless cap. This is just how I cut the lace off of my units is what this video is about, and I use a white mannequin head, because it is much easier for me when I am looking at the lace, because this is a light brown color lace that I Have on this unit, because that's what color I use for my complexion - and this is swiss lace and when I have when I can look at this lace behind this white mannequin head, I can just follow the outline of the unit hairline and it just makes it Easier for me to cut it so and so now we're going straight to the video of how I cut my lace from my full lace units or my glueless units um, one of my subscribers x for this video and so we're going to hook it up. For your girl, okay, thanks, ok, tell you. The first thing I do is I use a Styrofoam head. I put this black wig cap on so that you can be able to see the video a little bit clearer because I usually don't use a black wig cap on there, and so what I do is then I put it on the head of course, and I Use a TPM - and I put it in the middle of the hair - I don't push it all the way down. I just put it in the middle to hold it up secure. Then I begin to brush the hair back from the lace gettin it rigged. For me, ok, and so once I do that I brush it all back, then I take the hair and twist it, and I use one of my banana clips - put it on the hair to hold it back here like that, and as you see, the hair is Still, you know in front of the lace right and we want to move all those baby hairs back. So what I do is I take a spray bottle with water in it. If that conditioner in it - and I wet the baby here and as I wet them, I comb them back by using the rat tail comb. I wet it does just watering. So here's just rat tail comb and I just continue to comb through the hair back and what the condition of does is really really smooth. Those baby hairs out of the way the water and the conditioner together just smooth that hair back out of the way. So now you see how nice and smooth the hair is all of the lace. So now remember we have lace that goes on from ear to ear. So what I'm doing next is I'm going to put 80 pin right here on that lace? Stick it in there on that lace, number of comb, the hair up just like that with my wet talk home. So we want all the baby here away from the lace and then I take any clip, put it up there and one love. You still have that this is where the lace is hope. You can see that and you see that hairline right, and so I also use a little brush. It has two sides to it. It has a soft and a hard side. I use the soft side you don't have to do. This is just something that I do just make sure that my baby hair is thought totally out of the way, because I don't want to cut any baby hairs, and so what I do is I brush it back just to make sure that all of the baby Hairs are away from the lace and so see as you see as I turn it around both sides of the hair. I pushed all the way back, and so I will not be cutting any of the baby hairs Wow when I'm cutting the lace. Ok. So now, okay, so now we have gotten all of the baby hairs back from daily and another thing i'm sorry, but i use readers because my eyesight has gotten really really bad, not bad enough for glasses, but bad enough that i need some readers. So I, where readers, when I'm cutting my lace, so what I do is I start in the middle. Let'S go this lag, so we can start. I start in the middle and I just cook straight up like that. Ok, we have cut. I always cut down the middle, and this is that I'm using before I go there, there's the little bitty small scissors and they are sharp the thing about cutting the lace off of your unit. You just want to make sure that your scissors are sharp. I like to use of the smaller scissors, because i have a small hand. Some people use a bigger scissors, but this is comfortable for me. So whatever is comfortable for you, that's the type of scissors that you use as long as the scissors are sharp. That'S the most important part, so i cut down the middle. What I'm going to do now is, but I'm going to come over on this side. I hope you can see this. Let'S see, let's turn this around of it. I'Ve already cooked down the middle. Now I'm going to come right up in here and I'm going to cut straight up and make sure that you do a straight cut just like that, because when you do the straight cuts, what happens is your um, your lace? It'S not all jagged! So, as you see, I'm pulling that back, i have just cooked down the middle and then i cut on the side just a little bit, so i cut a little bit at the time i go up to the top and i get as close to the hairline As i possibly can, that's kind of awkward every time have to come back around here. You'Ve been that down just a little bit. So what I do is hold the lace, pull the lace that I've cut here and then I begin to cut ok. So here we go as you see, I have cut the lace from here to here as close to the hairline and here's the other lace right here, so it stopped by right here. So I have cut as close to the hairline, as I possibly can, which makes it look very very nice when you get ready to apply your unit or with your glue or tape. Your hairline is not a jagged. Looking, it's not jagged. Looking so here's the lay still here that I have not cooked see. This is the lace that I have not cooked on here, and this is the area where I have cut the lace beautiful and I didn't cut any of my baby here, because I sprayed it with the conditioner and the water and I'm going to go in and Cut a flap and then start cutting portland meal, this side and then start cutting as close to the hairline as I possibly can, and then I continued on cutting the lace I go to the hairline first before you can start cutting to see where I met and Then I cooked - and this is the part that goes behind that ear, so we're going to take the tpn out - we're going to hold it with our hands and we're going to cut and go in the angle that this is going in so and I can see It very well because i do have on my readers, so i can see. Ok, so just wanted to show you the sides. I cut the lace, all off all the ear. You just go with the angle of it and that's what I did and i still have lace on the other side. But that is the gist of it. How I cooked my lace off of my lace, fronts or full lace units and I don't cut the legs off the back, because i used the elastic band. But that's how close i cut minds to the lace.
