Update For Sewing Your Nape Down On Full Lace Wigs

Hey beauties this was previously recorded but I had some issues with uploading. Finally got this update for you and I hope this helps and again I will bring the tuturial of me sewing it in the back. See Ya Soon

Hey beauties, this is gina, i'm just settling down for for the evening and, as you know, i just took out the um that unit that showed me sewing the nape of the neck down, and i told you i was going to come back and give you an Update and let you know the pros and cons of this technique, so i left all the thread in the way that it came out. Okay - and i want you to see that there are no tears in this unit from doing that, all right, so you can see all of that, and all you have to do is just go in where the thread is and just take that out. Just like you would a sew in and just take those uh loose threads out of there and just be careful. You know because it is swiss lace, so you don't want to tear it on the uh uninstall. So the pros is no glue. Your unit stays down in the back without a problem. You can rock your high ponytails if you uh, like that style uh, let's see what other pros are there now? The way that i uh secure my uh wig cap down? Is you want to get one of those um mesh caps, which is what i had and you use that like for um sewing down? They got the three fourth wig going on right now: the trend for that. So you could get one of those you could get um a durag, so you're gon na put that on first, not a durag, i'm sorry, but one of those um fitted caps that the young guys wear it's a dome cap. That'S what it's called! You can use that put that one first and then put your uh knee high on top of that and then just sew it i sewed it to the braid. So i anchored it down to the braid just like here here and then one in the back. So you you're not going to sew the whole thing around just just enough to secure that that wig cap down, so it doesn't move around on you uh. Let'S see the cons, the only con that i could come up with is that um, if you're, not careful, it may tear your lace. So when you're sewing this down in the back, you want to make sure that one when you're installing it that you don't sew it too tight to where that may cause that you know when you're brushing also when you're styling the the unit just be mindful that That is sewn down in the back and just be careful, you know uh, it's gon na give you more confidence that that is secured down in the back and you're gon na want to go ahead and go for it, but just make sure you're mindful about that. Another pro is that you can easily make layers if you want to layer the back um like i have the creo clip and if you want to make layers with that, it's going to make it easier for you to comb the hair over and not worry about. The nape of the unit coming up on you, let's see what else. Oh another pro is for your hair regimen. So if you opt to not glue it down or tape it down in the front and you use the elastic band, the tootsie mom um method, you can pull that unit back down and let it rest on your neck, maybe clip it, maybe clip it with some Duct clips so that it doesn't pull, and that way you can, you know, like i use ovation, you can use your ovation product and get really into that. Scalp like you want to get into it, um just to grease the scalp with your olive oil. Put your castor oil on anything, whatever you use for your health for your hair journey, you can still do this and it makes it more convenient for you to be able to have a full, install and still be able to take care of your natural hair. Underneath the unit um, let's see the cleanup time, is faster. I'M not sure if i mentioned that before um, with the glue since there's no glue in the back, that clean up time is going to be faster because all you're doing is taking down the thread and uh. Like i said you make the the the threading loose you'll be able to to grab hold when you're ready to take it down completely you'll, be able to grab a hold to a piece of the thread and just cut it so that that makes it quicker. For you to go ahead and take those threadings out um, i think that may be about it that i think that's all that i can think of on the pros and the con side. So when i come back again, i'm going to since i've relaxed my nerves and gotten over my my uh excitement of finally coming up with um a technique that we can use to keep that nape area down um. When i come back again because i know you guys, your beauties are gon na want to see how it's done, uh, step by step. You know even with securing down that wig cap, so um on my next video. Well, the next one after this one, because i have to do a video on this one - give you a review on what i'm rocking right now. So after i do this one, then i'll do a tutorial on how i do everything how it comes together and this time it'll be neater in the back. Also, what's going to help too, if you, if you are the type of uh wig where that do not get baby hairs in the back, you don't be discouraged. You can go ahead and make your baby hairs in the back once you sew it down, just go through and um like you would your front if you wanted baby hairs in the front. So if you need a tutorial on that, let me know and i'll go ahead and get that done for you as well, because that baby hair is going to help to hide the perforation. If you will of that lace, just in case, you may not have enough hair to cover that um, but with your leave out you'll at least have the baby hair to be able to come down over that and still be able to rock your high ponytails. So all is not lost if you have short hair, so there are ways to work around just about anything with these units, so um be on the lookout for the tutorial on how to secure that nape area in the back and stay tuned on what i am Rocking all right beauties, it was a pleasure coming to you once again and you all have a happy happy labor day and don't work too hard and, as always, keep your beauty. Fancy bye,
