Hey babes, i am back with another gorgeous install today, i'm just going to be reviewing a few of the kyle collection's newest products on my gorgeous tres deco unit. This unit was customized specifically for this client, so it won't be on the site, but if you're still interested don't forget to like and subscribe and continue watching. So the kyle collection sent me this super cool care package with some new products to try. They sent me a skin protectant, some edge, tamer, two different types of glues, and i thought it was super cool that they included a lace release braid, because i feel, like that's way, safer to use on my wigs than using 97 alcohol. So, like any unit that you're about to put on you want to start with a really good flat canvas, i decided to keep her hair in the same braiding format that we had originally for her closure wig, since we are still going to be doing a side. Part on this lace unit, but i just got some edge tamer and i'm basically scooting back her edges to prep her for her bald cap method. I know everybody likes to do their ball cap methods with like got to be spray and got to be gel, but i found that using this technique really does reduce the chance of my clients, edges thinning because of excessive alcohol or dryness. Just laying this cap with a water-based glue really gives you the best flesh, look and honestly to me. It looks better than using that got to be so in order to make this ball cap as seamless as possible. On one side, i'm going to be using their sensitive glue and the other side i'm going to be using their stronghold glue to test which one i like more so on this part, i did only use one layer of glue on both sides because really we're just Trying to adhere the cap to make that ball cap look, so we don't need too many layers till we're getting ready to install the unit. So as i'm letting that glue dry completely clear, i'm just going to go around her back and just sew it down. So her cap isn't bunching. You do want this glue to dry completely clear. So while i wait, i'm just going to be prepping her unit for her install y'all, i don't know if it's just me, but hot combing, frontals and lace in general is so satisfying. Like look at this hairline y'all so now her glue is finally completely dried, clear. It really didn't take long, maybe five or ten minutes. But after that part, i'm just going to go around her perimeter of the front of her head and just cut that cap up and, as you can see, with using the glue method. Instead of the got to be method, your edges of your ball cap will be completely clear, so we just jumped right into applying her wig. She wanted to move the part from the middle to the side, which was even better because her braid parting was already on the side. So it's going to be super flat and super beautiful after i did her parting, i'm just going to go around and just customize the rest of that hairline and also just get that part like i needed and um. You know just pluck it out just customizing that frontal even more - i don't know if everybody does this, but i love plucking my frontal long ways in the parting area, because it kind of creates that more natural look that we get in our own hair and it Just defines that part even more so now, here's the fun part i'm just going to be applying that skin protectant. Before i apply any glue once i apply the glue, i'm just going to be doing a quick um. I think i did about three layers. I can't really remember, but again, i'm still keeping up with that same regimen of you know doing one type of glue on one side and the other. On the other side, one thing that i say about all water-based glues. It is so important to do thin layers and let it dry completely clear, because a lot of water-based glues can give you a white cast if they're not completely dry. So you want it to look a lot like this once i let that glue dry completely clear. I'M just going to be pulling her wig forward and start the process of really melting that lace. In once i got the hairline exactly like i wanted it. I put this elastic band around and i'm going to just start getting into the process of styling her hair out. I know y'all are probably thinking i hot comb, the hair, a lot which i do, but it's so important before i get to curling, that the hair is going in the direction that i want it to oh yeah and if you guys wanted to know what curler. I was using i'm gon na make sure i put it all down in the description, but i believe it's the t3 one and three fourths barrel, but i'll just you know, put those specs down below. Once i got to the front section i'm going to be, you know, cutting her lace and getting into the baby hair. So i could have that tied down as i curl her frontal before i lay those baby hairs, i'm just going to grab a little bit of edge tamer to set that hairline before i tie it down one more time to really get that melted. Look so y'all! This is just a regular elastic band. I'M just going to keep this here as i continue styling her hair and i'm just letting those baby hairs continue to melt before i lay them down. So i'm just going to jump into laying these baby hairs. I just normally use a razor and do them, however short or long i may want them. I, like more of that taper look so using the razor works best y'all. I am so embarrassed. I must have touched my phone on this clip, but yeah, i'm just going in with that nairobi, foam and some more edge tamer, like i said before, to just lay those baby hairs real quick before i tie them down. So i, like my baby hairs to have more of a fluffy look, so i'm just going to be going in and combing them out and just trimming up any areas that i may need to and voila you guys she is all laid and slayed and that kyle Collection glue got this lace, melted, honey. I really enjoy doing videos like this, so you all. Let me know what you want to see next, don't forget to like and subscribe bye.
