It'S pink welcome back so before we get into this video. I just want to say like if all else fails, one thing that your girl did do she went in on this parting space, because if you are familiar with the it's a wig unicorn series, the parting space is a little suspect and I looked at a few Videos little tutorials, I wasn't the only one who was kind of struggling, but one thing I knew I was not gon na play with this part and I was gon na at least slay that okay, so I actually received this unit from it's a wig. I loved it when I, you know, attempted it: it's a wig part of the slay party. I tried it on. I shared it with you guys on Instagram stories and you all were in love with it too. But then you know, you know this box kind of sat around for a little bit finally got around to opening it up everything and when I first tried it on I'm just gon na, let you know what really threw me off was the color of the lace. It is so dark. Have you guys tried this? Like that's one thing that would honestly kind of like deter me, and so the lace was super dark and the parting space was so tight, which I mentioned already, and the curls were kind of flat. It didn't have the body or the volume that I had imagined yeah when you combed it out. It definitely works, but then also the shine. It wasn't like exactly what I was expecting. You don't have to blow it down, but the dry shampoo to make sure that we're giving like I mean you know, even though you know it's not human hair, but we're still trying here. That'S the goal, we're still trying for the price point. This unit is a little bit more expensive than your average affordable wig. It'S around the thirty-five to forty five dollar range. So yes, this was on a trend when it came out, it was super cute, but the better style of the entire series is definitely the straight version and I could definitely see myself trying to slay that maybe in the future, when the summer comes back around, but I had to trust from this unit. I gave you guys a pole Instagram like what should i do. Should I just transform her or make her straight and you guys would like curl her up transform her. So I did a cute little flexi rod set I've done. Flexi rod sets on different weights before and it's a cute way to like either revive your wig or jazz it up, and you know, give it a little bit more texture different feel, and it also adds a lot of volume. As you guys can see. I had a little bit too much volume and I had to kind of bring it down, so I really wanted to show you guys the entire process. I love revamping and kind of like transforming wigs and it's a great way to just kind of just see what you can do, I'm a creative person. So I just let my creative juices flow, I'm gon na be dropping a ton of hints and tips throughout this entire thing, because you know from the thinness at the back. You know we're gon na we're gon na show you how to get ultra volume and get the look. So I mean I don't know if I'm giving you like Barbie doll, kind of a Barbie doll, hair, maybe Shakespeare, I'm giving you something and we're gon na roll with it. If you relish me just please I don't mind. Oh but y'all know I do my thing on that part. So make sure you give me my credit. I tried so I first tried the unit on with the lace still attached and just as a reminder, I am wearing my wig grip and I just wanted to comb through the curls to see if that helped with the volume. And the one thing I noticed is like the curls aren't as tight and as defined as they can be, especially like near my eyes. You see how it's just kind of laying there it doesn't have much life to it, but this lace is so dark in the parting space girl. Oh my god, we got a lot of work to do so. I removed the lace and I still just wasn't feeling how the hair was laying near the top. It'S like it had no direction and needed a lot of training, and I knew that parting space was gon na need work, so you know the first thing you should do when your wig is just not hitting hit up the parting space. I like to actually use a tee pin to help me as a guide when I'm creating. You know the perfect parting space, because you don't want to take out too much and it's thin enough to help. You create like a straight line going straight back, and so I really like that. That'S a little tip. I want to give you all whoo, shellay, okay, Mucha Lai, it's very thin. You can see you can see the dark, a cap construction. I don't know what's going on, but we got ta keep moving, so definitely pull back the hair when you are doing this step, I'm using a little bit of the LA girl HD Pro concealer in Cole's hand, and I'm just going to use this with a flat Shader brush and target the parting space exactly do not put this on the hair because it will change the color of the hair in that area. It'S cuz. We want to neutralize it and give it a more realistic color. Now you know it's a custom. You want to blow it down, take your favorite dry, shampoo and just go to town on this. Do it on the entire unit? You guys can see again to me the curls look lifeless. What do you think am? I am I seeing it wrong now. I took a medium sections and I used the elastic kewpie design foam and I really like this. It'S super affordable. You can get at a beauty, supply store and I applied it generously to the section and just combed it through now, I'm using the orange flexi rods and I'm using a winding motion and it's very tight. You don't want to see the flexi rod peeking through so make it as tight as possible and be sure to secure the flexi rod at the top. As you continue moving down towards the ends, it just makes it a lot easier and I just repeated this process and I used a total of ten flexi rods. That'S all I had and I made it work you can make it work with eight. Maybe even six. Now for the top section, because it was very thin, it didn't have a lot of volume. I broke it down and I wanted to put the flexi rods very close in this area. So at the back, I'm putting two flexi rods at the top and then I'm gon na put two flexi rods directly below because I'm trying to build volume in that area, especially at the back, because that's where's the thinnest and for the last flexi rod on the Right side, I'm actually twisting this towards me - is very important to get the direction right so that it lays perfectly around the front and the top and near the parting space. Because that's where I had an issue previously, so I just dumped the wig into some hot water. You want to turn the flame down once you put the hair in because it's not necessary to keep it up high and just let it sit there for about three to five minutes, and I actually let this dry on this type of wick stand, and it's really Good, it adds more ventilation, so it's going to dry a lot quicker and put it in front of a fan. If necessary. I let it dry for like three to four hours and I went in to remove the rods the curls were so springy like. Yes, I'm loving it and the way that you curl it. You want to do the exact same motion, but do the reverse when you're taking it down you just what you want to follow that curl pattern to make sure you don't mess it up or create any unnecessary frizz, and what's all of your sections are taken down? You want to go in and gently pinks apart, the curls gently I didn't want to create too much frizz. Sometimes it's inevitable, okay y'all. So I put it on okay. It was a lot I was overwhelmed. I didn't really know what to do so. I just started combing the hair again because the curls were too tight. I probably could have used larger flexi rods, which is an option, but you know I'm the queen of making it work with what you have, and so that's what I'm doing and I'm doing I'm using the combs who kind of lengthen the curls, reduce that tightness and Really kind of get a more realistic flow cuz. I was overwhelmed at this point I honestly was like. Do I even really want to do this review? You know I don't even know, but you know I'm not wanting to back down. Okay, cuz I'm gon na keep trying until I can't try anymore okay. So in the Instagram I took about two Clips, like the plastic clips, and I just pulled my hair towards the front backward, very gently and I'm using some wig-out foam by style factor, and I just really wanted to slick down that part and keep that area. You know very flat and neat, I use a satin scarf and let that set for about 10 to 15 minutes, and then I was like you know what I'm gon na treat this like some crochet braids, because when my hair is too voluminous, I like twist the Hair, you know you can do a two strand twist or you could just simply twist it around itself and I put a perm rod at the end, because you need a little bit of weight to help drag it down, and you want to keep the hair in This type of you know placement until you're, ready trust me, it works and it definitely reduces the volume, because this is how I ended up with this. I think it's cute, let me know like so, did you guys, like that reservation? I'Ve really tried. Okay, I gave it my best. Y'All have let me know in the comment section and I will see you in the next one. You already know, as I do subscribe to, and the family give this video a thumbs up, and maybe in the comment section. So we can Kiki

Pink Coko: YAAAAAASSSSS! SLAY'D!! You really did a great job with this one!

SumogritsforHazel: Girl please, once again you did that lol!!! I don't know about anyone else here but the next time my go-to site has sold out of every color but pink in a particular long unit that I like, I'm gone 'go pink or go home.' You have truly inspired me!

Future Brown: I love what you did to this! It’s way cute like this. The curls were lifeless at first but I’m loving the voice and body of the end result.

Rachel A: I think you slayyyed! Especially for what you had to work with. Your makeup is on point.

Kristal Thomas: Girl you slayed that part and your face is beat to the godz

LaTissia: Hey sisterqueen I think it just needed a wider part with lightening up of the lace and that's it.... Because truth be told you're a pretty person, and your beauty would've helped that wig carry it's own weight minus the extra finesse of curls.

goldmouth100: GIIIRL YOU ARE REALLY ROCKING THAT WIG.. HUNNY EVERYBODY CAN'T WEAR THIS..BUT YOU PULLED THIS LOOK OFF WITH NO EFFORT AT ALL!! ...YOU BETTA WERRRRK GIRL !!!!

Cynthia Cummings: Girl, you transformed that thang! Wow, we can use these tops to transform any synthetic wig. Thanks sis. ❤️❤️❤️

Marsha Neal-Williams: Very pretty! Makes me want to try it

Rynne Carnivora: You made that wig MAGICAL. You look beautiful unicorn your makeup was so amazing. It matched the hair perfectly. I'm going to do this to one of my wigs

Della Jones: Yassss! Sis you Always come thru w/ slay and beat. The colors look amazing on you.

StillAs AButterfly: It looks perfect on you

ANM: Those curls were lifeless...you did a bomb job fixing it. I love your videos. Had to subscribe immediately after watching my first video. You make me want to try new styles

BARBIE DOLL: OMG sis this look way better than how it looked when u first opened the box I love it

Indiegirl007: I feel like the color combination doesn't.....go? Like, I don't know, maybe they could have made her more vibrant. But you definitely worked some magic to turn this into SOMETHING.

AnimeFreak 4287: You slayed this wig and i need you to do my makeup.

Angela Baker-Snow: All I have to say is I'm not into the color but you slayed that wig

Ms Excalibar: It looks beautiful on you. It looks BOMB if you sprayed the roots black, it look even better. Good job!!

Briante Epps: I'll be honest. Not my favorite wig on you, but you did a damn good job transforming it. Can't NOBODY say that you don't put your all into it. It looked better than it did at first, but still not a favorite.

Urban Eve: Oh shoot gurl. You did that! You made that wig better than it ever was!

Be you Be beautiful: Excellent job! You made it work ! New sub

Rochelle Agostini: You did amazing on the lace but I prefer the original curl pattern for sure.

Ms. Mommie: The transformation of the curls makes it look so much better. However I have never seen lace that dark even on custom lace wigs. Also the dark weft cap construction was a terrible move. Idk why they wouldn't have used a blonde cap.

Kristal Thomas: Girl you did ya thang with them curls

lea perry-trunnell: You did the dang thang to this unit

Ladonna Williams: Sis you slay this wig

Momma Bear: You slayed girl cuz it needed work.

Perrdae_ redgirl: Glad yu did this video im haven the same problem..yu did great th0

Camille Edmond: What tips could you give on long hair wigs that cover your face. I feel like I have the same face structure and head shape like you but long hair wigs never look right on me because they cover to much of my face. I look better in short hair wigs and want to get some long hair wigs but I don't because of how it covers my face like this one did on you in the beginning. Should I get long hair wigs or just stick with shirt hair?

Shani Black: Really pretty!!!!

nikkistayfocused: ily..u did everything to make it work and I'm for a co to rise but that was not rite auntie pinkur makeup always on

Yea Rite: U did an excellent job! Werk mama!!!

Juicy Payne: Ummm...you slayyyeeedd Unicorn style Auntie Pink❤

batpatriot76Q: OOOOOOO cotton candy look. love it

DarlingSeries: So cute

Dante Velasquez: Not a fan of the cotton candy colors lol And definitely not a fan of that dark lace or the thinness in the back! Not for $45.

Rainbow Bright: Perfect teaching voice not loud or ignorant sounding like the rest

Samone Thomas: You did that!

Black Diamond1: Gorgeous

Kyairah Crawford: Damn I need to see this straight

Toni Bell: I like baby Girl You did the Dam thing

thestylecake: They need to go back to the drawing board with this wig. It just doesn’t make “sense”. The colors don’t blend and the roots are just a no. You did your best but you didn’t have much to work with. I give you a thumbs up for sharing the reality of not all wigs working out lil sis. Edit: I kind of liked it better when it wasn’t curly....before you flexi rodded it.

Ja-Nee Reviews: I absolutely love it. Maybe the part could be a little wider but it's still very cute. And as always, YOUR EYE MAKEUP IS FLAWLESS!!!!

Kacey Mcmillian: yes u did that

Candy kid Jammer: Looks like a party city wig
