Welcome back, ladies i'm ilana and i'm so excited to share with you guys my tips and tricks on how i get ready for night with my wigs i've had so many ask me what i do, and even though i don't really do this very often, i figured I would do it especially for you guys, so you can see exactly what steps i take depending on the wig. Now this wig is a body wave, so i'm going to follow that natural curl pattern and then roll it into these foam rollers. These are on the smaller end. They do come in different sizes, depending on what kind of look you're going for, but honestly any of them will do and will give you the results you need now. I did use only five rollers in total, even though this is on the thicker density of wigs. It is 180. That'S all i needed to complete this, but you could always use more in order to get a more defined curl. It all depends on your preference and also your level of patience at night. Honestly, when it's late at night, and i need to go to bed, i want something quick and easy, but also make sure that i'm keeping the wig intact. So i'm not having to do any extra touch-ups in the morning. I love how secure and comfortable these are, and so i know that they will not budge while i'm sleeping, but i still go in with my silk scarf so that way i can lay them all down nice and flat. Not only does this help keep the lace down, because in this example, i only used hairspray for the lace no glue or anything. So if you want to keep it laying down flat, this is a really good method to use, and it makes it overall a lot more comfortable because you don't have to worry about the wiggling of those rollers, while you're sleeping just make sure you only tie it Tight enough to hold in place, but not too tight to give you a headache because trust me, it can definitely happen now that you're all set the ultimate tip is to make sure you get a silk pillowcase and i will list the ones i use down below Trust me: they are a lifesaver not only for your skin and hair, but because sometimes those scarves or whatever you're, using to wrap your hair can come off or you have one of those lazy nights where you just want to go to bed. Don'T worry, do a quick little bun or braid and then you can go to sleep on that silk pillowcase and it will keep the hair, nice and silky and not dry or rub it out. But this is what the curls look like in the morning. So sorry that the footage was blurry but as you can see it did stay put and the curls were beautiful. I didn't have to use anything at all now. Moving on to the curlier, textures or deep wave, which is what this unit is, it's also 180 density. So very thick, but when it comes to curlier textures i don't use the roller. I prefer to do a braid. Not only is it a little simpler because it's thicker, but it keeps that wavy texture a lot better without interrupting the curl pattern. By introducing a roller or another pattern, so sorry guys, i'm not the best braider in the world, but it's okay. If you aren't either because it doesn't have to be perfect, you can do two braids like i am, or just do one straight down the center and that way in the morning you can do a really quick curl refresh with some water and some conditioner and you're Good to go sure you pull any of the edges and make sure it's not too tight and isn't pulling the baby hairs. And then you can wrap it up in a x formation in the back. Also, pin it or put a silk scarf and you're good to go now. If you have a straight unit, i definitely recommend wrapping it in one of those honeycomb beehive types. It is a little difficult, especially if you're not used to doing it on a wig, because you will fight against the grain of the hair at some point. But for me, even though i'm not the greatest at it, i like to use the thickest chunk of hair. First, to comb back and away from my face and then wrapping the rest around in a circle. I always find that that's easiest and i have to fight a lot less in order to get the hair to cooperate and because this is shorter, it was a little hard to keep it in place because it does fall out really easy, because it's so silky. So just grab one of those crocodile clips and clip the majority of the hair. That way you can get the rest of hair in place. As you see, i do have a wig cap. In my hand, that was what i had readily available. You can definitely use any other options. You like bobby, pin it and use a bonnet, but i like the wig cap because i find that it stays put and it's a little bit tighter. But where i messed up was the placement of that thick band so make sure if you use a wig cap to slide it back on top of the hair. That way, you don't get that annoying little imprint on your skin trust me. It takes forever to go away and you will definitely see it when i unwrap this wig and if there's any little chunks that didn't quite make it just go ahead and follow the pattern of the swirl and tuck it. In last but not least, my trusty silk scarf is going to tie it all together and especially keep that lace down, since i'm only using hairspray to bond it, and that's it you're ready to hit the hay all right guys. You know i love you to show you guys my super puffy face in the morning bright and early. It did not budge and also was comfortable. The most important thing, although my swirl was not perfect or the neatest wrap, you can see that the hair stayed nice and straight and there you have it. Ladies, the finished look, and i really hope this helped you guys out. Please let me know if you try any of these methods comment down below, don't forget to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe. That way. I'Ll see you the next time bye,
