They use hair extensions. So when you look at the transformation of this young guy yeah, he was bold and he's basically used her extensions to change his looks yeah. So the hair business is booming. It'S booming boom and booming yeah. You see um, even even the whites. They also love it because they use it for um. They like the synthetic ones like the um, the hair, extensions and the expression. Then the obri, the tutoring three tines, the tensile hair, the candy hair. They love it yeah. So there's always a market a market for it. Yes, you can change. Your looks. We'Ve got a lot of like different variations when it comes to the colors too yeah, so um, you never go wrong, invest in the hair business. All the information needed to set up your business we'll go through the vendor list, how to find vendors on alibaba.com and we'll go through shipping companies and how to ship your products from like china to ghana, we're going through running your business and where to find clients. Um um, this tutorial is going to be straightforward. Yeah, i'm not going to waste a lot of time. Please click on it to suit yourself. This one is going to be a really really quick one. I'M just basically going to give you the information, so you go and then we move forward yeah. So i'm going to spend a lot of time here. Okay, so setting up your business yeah as with every business, you need to make sure you actually take all these boxes before you actually get started yeah. So you need a business name. You need to come up with a nice business, nice and catchy, and business name. Um, you need to come up with your brand logo. Yeah your brand colors yeah. So when it comes to your branding, do you want to go with either black and and rose gold, yellow and blue, pink and red yeah? You need to sit down and and come up with your brand colors. You need to design your logo and flyers. You can do this for free using canva. You need to create an email address, you need a website and when it comes to the hair business i always recommend getting a website. So just invest a bit of money and get a website yeah get a website, so you can showcase your hair and you can also give product tips and tutorials to your clients. You need a website if you don't know how to build a website, and you need help with that. Just contact for for tech i'll leave the details in the description section below. If you need help with your logos and flyers, who, for for tech, will be able to help you with that, you need to create your social media account, yes, social proof. Normally, before someone buys from you, they want to make sure that you are actually legit. You'Ve got your instagram account. You got your facebook account. You got your twitter, your pinterest. You need to make sure you are on social media. That is how you market your products. You need a whatsapp line. Yeah. You need to download the whatsapp link, because that's how you actually be communicating with your vendors in china and you need to choose one hand, do you want to just concentrate on like um virgin, hair or raw hair or the synthetic ones? Or do you want to concentrate on like just making wigs yeah? You need to make sure that you you you, you have a like a target niche. You cannot do all to do all you need like a huge capital yeah, but you need to make sure you have a niche in the hair industry. So take one don't just sell all if you want to go with raw human hair. Make sure you you specialize in that, if you want to go with synthetic hair, make sure i specialize in that if you want to go um with what you call it, um virgin hair make sure you specialize in that. If you want to go with like weeks, make sure you specialize in that yeah and also know your customers, so what sort of demographics or what sort of customers do you want to sell your products to some may choose to sell to only hairdressers, some may choose To sell to what they call it busy professionals yeah so make sure you also define your target customers and, most importantly, make sure you do your research make sure you have a lot of products knowledge. You have a lot of knowledge about the hair industry, because trust me, customers and clients will be coming to you with a lot of questions. Yeah so make sure you do you. You are well researched. You know your products information. So when they come, you can actually assist them. Okay, so before we actually get started, let me just make this yeah um for the types of hair. We have the raw hair, which is mostly found in india. We have the virgin hair, so the virgin hair is like the raw human hair but processed. So the raw, the raw hair is basically human hair, but not processed. You get it as it is yeah, but with the virgin hair is processed and we have the synthetic ones that they use special materials like the kanikalon and the rest. Okay, there is nothing like brazilian hair. There is nothing like um, peruvian hair. There is nothing like malaysian here: they are all marketing terms. Are you listening to me? They are all marketing terms yeah, so basically people of the public when they see brazilian hair um, they mean the hair is of good quality, but trust me you'll be getting a raw or virgin hair. So there's nothing like um brazilian hair. There is nothing like um, peruvian hair, there's nothing like malaysian hair. They are all marketing terms yeah, so um supplies, so product cells will use that yeah. So you you you, the clients are you. The customer will have the perspective. You have the understanding that it's a good quality. The hair is like of good quality, but it's nothing like that. So when you look here um almost most of the hair, like 99.9 hairs will come from india, burma, china or mongolia. These are like the top top tier of where most of the house will come from like the raw ones, yeah yeah, and when it comes to vietnam, cambodia and philippines. They are basically like the second tier yeah, so this uh these countries are like the top top places where you get most of your raw hair from, but honestly most will come from india. That'S where you get your hair from there's no hair coming from brazil. There'S no hair coming from malaysia, there's no hair coming from peruvian and peruvia, so please, please do not get tricked then make sure no one tricks you in regards to this yeah. So once i've got this out of the way, let's get started. Okay, vendor list. So basically i'll go through the vendor list again. So as again, i've done all the research for you um almost 99 of these numbers, i've um. What'S up them, i've actually spoken to them. Yes, so um, please go and suit yourself. In case i made any mistake with the numbers just um, because i was trying to enter all this in excel yeah make sure you just contact me and i'll, give you the actual number yeah, okay, and also when you come down here. I'Ve got um here um. I went on and what do you call it and on amazon yeah? So there are some hairs you can actually find on amazon, too yeah. So just click on any link. You can click on here then, and go look at the supplier here, communicate with the supplier and they'll be able to supply you with here. Okay, how do you find vendettes on alibaba.com i'm going to quickly share my screen i'll just open a new browser? Okay, so you quickly go on alibaba on alibaba.com, okay, so this is just going to be um like a very, very quick one, guys yeah no wasting time at all um. So basically, you come here and we'll just type in maybe raw raw hair yeah, so as you've seen here is giving me like some options to select from so raw hair from india. Raw hair will still human hair raw hair from vietnam, raw hair vendor. Basically, just click on the raw hair vendor yeah, okay. So what i normally do is um. I always try and i click on the trade assurance, because i always want to deal with suppliers that um that have trade assurance payment gateways yeah. So you can click on the trade assurance and also when you come when you come here, supply country or region. Yes, so you can actually change the destination yeah. So we'll just click here so pass export. Yes, so you can either choose where you want the hair to come from yeah. So we've got all these um countries here yeah but, as i said so, basically you get some from india um india from burma, mongolia and china yeah, but i'm not going to take anything here. So basically you get some list here. So just click on one look at their products, look at their pricing and you can contact them. Okay! Yes, once i do this, i always want to look for like um suppliers, you know not just the product. So when you come to the top section here where the mouse is i'll click on there and select suppliers, then i go to search again. So this time around is giving me suppliers um for hair vendors, yeah, okay, so i'm from i'm an african yeah. So i want to um, i want to work with suppliers that basically and deals and like ship to african countries. So i'm going to click on the african country here and i'll go confirm: okay, yeah. So this is our suppliers from guangzhou. As you can see here, yeah that actually what you call it um supply here so take your time and spend a lot of time here. Take your time and and and go through yeah. That'S again once again make sure you, click on trade assurance only deal with vendettes with trade assurance. Okay, so take your time and look through here, let's just click on the first one: yes, so the verify supplier, which is good they've, been um in production in business. For like um nine years, which is really really good, they've got four point: eight out of five and they've got 900 and 398 reviews, which is really really good, so click on the review to learn more about them. The company you can't come here, click on their products, yeah, so they've got um lace, frontal enclosure, so basically all the hairs they deal with are all here. Okay, so yeah, let's go with the hd lace and frontal. Yes. What i do is i normally um yeah. You can click on one okay, yeah, so they've got more product to you, yeah so take your time and do the research yourself here? Okay! So if i'm happy with this supplier, basically i'll just go contact supplier click on contact supplier and now send them an email. Okay, i'm going to show you two ways of actually how to source for this i'll, send them an email. I'Ve got an email template here yeah, so you basically go hello. My name is um kwame and i'm interested in doing business with your company. Please send me pics blah blah blah blah blah blah. You just copy this and just paste it yeah when, when you um contact a supplier yeah, so there's this another way of doing it and the other way is i'm sending an rfq to a lot of vendors and interested ones will contact you so i'll actually go Back here, okay, so on request, multiple kites yeah. So when you click on this okay, so this is basically sending one template, yeah rfq, and what alibaba will do? They'Ll, just they'll just push this to all like hair vendors and people that wants to do business with you will actually contact you yeah yeah. Then you can make your selection, so you just go to the form, submit an rfq, i'm not going to fill this form. Yeah then the product name categories, translation categories and basically yeah - attach photos. If you have one and just go, submit yeah, you can do this again. I'Ve got a template here. Um requests for quotation, template that can help you out yeah. So if you want information, i'm going to leave this in the description section below too yeah yeah. Please do that to suit yourself. Make sure you change this address and put your. What do you call it your frightforwarding company's address here, yeah, so i'll, leave this template to in the description section below. So that's how you basically search for them hair vendors on on alibaba. Please take your time and research yeah, make sure you what's up them, talk to them and do not make any trends. Let me hammer on this point: do not make any transaction um until you get a hair sample, so basically tell them don't go about just ordering. Like i don't know, thousand boxes and thousand hair products, 10 hair products make sure you only purchase a sample. Yeah tell the supplier to send you the hair sample when it comes test. The quality show it to your friends and family to also text the quality yeah before you go ahead. Making a large purchase yeah make sure you request for product sample is really really important. We are almost done, let's move on guys so shipping to ghana. So how can you ship to ghana so basically um for the hair samples? I prefer you using an air shipment, so you can get a sample quickly, so i've got um chris vook mall. Here i'm not going to go on the platforms, i'm just going to watch all my other tutorials, so you understand how to actually use these yeah. I'Ve got chrisvertmore.com here. I'Ve got prolog global here. I'Ve got carriage imports, global yeah, so polo global. I had a lot of um people that had bad feedbacks with them. They were having issues with their c shipping, so i think for now they are not doing this to see shipping yeah they've paused that process for now. So they only deal in air shipments. They only deal in air shipment, but before you, you use them, make sure you contact them and ask them if they can ship your products for you before you use them yet, but for christmas, more no issues and for carriage imports global! That'S my new one! I found this is their whatsapp number and this is basically their charges yeah, so just contact them. You can use this for um use these companies for them to ship your sample products to you. So all you basically do is contact them and they'll give you their warehouse address in china. Then you have to give that warehouse address to your supplier and your supplier will have to ship that product your product should be a warehouse address once they receive your product. They will notify you then they'll, let you know how much it's going to cost to ship yeah. Then they'll ship it to ghana, for you when it gets together, some got to process some. So some will let you know how much it's going to cost. Others will also let you know how much is going to cost to ship others. Others will also let you know once the product gets to ghana. So once you're going to receive they'll be like okay, your shipping fee is blah blah blah blah blah blah yeah. So please contact them, talk to them before you make any transactions yeah, and these are for people in ghana, guys if you're in nigeria, you can use chris vic more too crispy more operates in both ghana and nigeria and if you're going to make your bulk purchases, You see shipping yeah, i've got to yet group here. They are really really good. They can ship from china to you in ghana. So basically asks your group to give you their warehouse address in china. You give it to your supplier. When there is, they receive the goose in china, they'll ship it to ghana. For you, then you go and collect your um. Your products at madina same with supercargo you're, going collect your product. Actually, my community 11. same with acquaint your you can go on. Acquainted.Com register use your channel address, give it to your supplier. When your product risk gon na you can go and collect me: okay, man, west, which is basically the la paz area in ghana. If you are not living in ghana, basically you can use fedex or dho, or your local um freight forwarding company yeah. So basically talk to your supplier and trust me, you don't know a shipping company that ships to your country. Okay. So how do you run your business? There'S actually two parts to this video yeah one? Is you basically buying the products and having the actual inventory of the products? Then you selling this product on either your website on social media, on like um platforms like ebay and amazon, yeah or selling to wholesale and selling, that's also to hairdressers in your area. Yes, that is one and the other one is um. Actually, the drop shipping model i'm going to do another video on how to um start hair business using the drop shipping model yeah. So please stay tuned. So this is basically how you can run your business. Make sure you market your product on social media. It'S really really important and it's straight to the um straight to the point and straight forward. This is really really important: social media, social media, especially with her products, um, instagram and pinterest, instagram and pinterest. You never go wrong with it yet so make sure you are always posting almost every day on your social media. Make sure you are marketing your products most entrepreneurs do not um what do not spend time with marketing and sales because they feel, like oh they'll, be a bit too pushy. But this is where you need to focus most of your time on. You have to make sure you're getting clients um to buy your products. Yeah do not spend a lot of time. Making your business perfect spend a lot of time and looking for clients and then looking for customers, yeah, okay, so basically um spend like 20 minutes engaging with people's content um on social media before you post. This will help the algorithm yeah. It'S a total algorithm that hey, you are very social yeah. Your engagement level is very high and once you place, they'll show your place to a lot of people. Yeah always try to comment over 30 plus posts throughout the week yeah. So do not just post your product make sure you always also liking and commenting on other people's points yeah. This will show you, the algorithm of facebook, instagram pinterest, that your engagement level is really high. So once you post also show your posts to other people, yeah post every day and use hashtags, it's really really important, post every day and use hashtags. Now, when do you actually do your postings um say from seven a.m to nine a.m? This is when a lot of people have walked up from bed, and the first thing they do is they take their phone and they start browsing. So this is where you actually find a lot of your clients, yeah and also in the evening from 6 p.m. To 8 p.m. This is when most people have returned from work are returned from their busy hustling and bustling day, and they are relaxing on the iphone yeah. So, between seven to nine and six and to eight pm these are the best times to actually place your product on social media. There are other ways like email, marketing and sales funnel, as i always say, i'm going to create a special tutorial for you guys.
