Hey guys today, I will be showing you a quick and easy way to tint your lace, so you're going to need um black tea, I'll be using 10 teabags. So you are gon na want to get probably like a pack of 10 or 20, and you want to make sure that the only ingredient in the tea is black tea. You don't want, you know other types of tea, mixed with it and other types of herbs. Mixed with it, you only need plain black tea, so this is me showing you the before of my full lace, wig um, how it looks against my skin tone and I'm using an old pot. You guys can use whatever pot you want. I just shows use an old one, you're going to fill that pot up about halfway and then bring the water to a boil before you put the teabags in when the water comes to a boil, you're just going to throw them in there. Let them soak for a little bit and then take a utensil and press down on those teabags. You want it to really get the color out of the teabags and you know into the water. So here you can see me just continuously pressing and then after that I take the teabags out and I let the tea brew for about two minutes so that it becomes richer and darker and then I turn it off. I take my full lace. Wig I put the hair in a bun Oh before I do that actually yeah, I test it, which I highly recommend you testing the the temperature, especially if you're tinting the lace on something that isn't virgin hair. So I'm just here, dunking it and using the same utensil to push the lace down and I leave it in there at first. I was gon na leave it in there for ten minutes, but after checking it hat at the halfway mark of five minutes. I like the way that it looked it in so I went right ahead and took it out so definitely check. You know, after every couple minutes check to see what color your lace is: afterward you're just going to have a towel nearby and let the excess water leave the lace in the hair, and then you are going to thoroughly wash it with shampoo and also condition that Hair and you want to make sure that you wash it well enough so that you don't smell the black tea afterward, so this is the before and after. Let me know in the comments down below, if you're going to try this go ahead and subscribe and follow me on Instagram thanks for watching guys.

V3lvetNight: hey beautiful! What an ingenious way to tint lace. I, on the other hand have the opposite problem that the lace is too dark, hahaha. I'll be sure to pass this along to my mom I'm sure she'd like the tip! keep up the excellent work!
Anitrea Sayles: AWESOME!!! Thank you for sharing because I have a full lace wig that came with light lace, despite the fact that I ordered medium brown, and I thought I could do nothing with it! Girl, I was hot as fish grease! I hate the "make up" technique because it just does NOT look natural to me...but THIS, I can work with. Bless the LORD for you! :) I'm excited about trying it out!! :)
Karisma Middleton: Love this I'm trying it right now
Trolli Sour Brite Eggs: so simple but very helpful
Jalynn Aniton: Is it a way to make it lighter? For light skin people?
Rhianna K: Hi, great video! Do you think that I could still do this even though I've cut away the front lace bit and customised it already?
Rene A: Can you do this right after bleaching the knots.... like one wash w/ the neutralizing shampoo, then tint the lace right away?
tomiwaspeaks: Hey! What a wonderful video! I love this . I have a question tho. Is this an alternative step before using the Mary Kay crème to powder to tiny bit? Or is this a different way of mimicking the scalp colour. And another question, how long dies the colour last? Can you just do this procedure without bleaching the knots or coloring it?
Dolokaa: very useful thank you
Chai O.: can you post the items you used in the description box?
Shaestheticsss : I'm so late but I was wondering if im tinting a frontal would i only need 5 tea bags (half) since it's not an entire lace cap?
