Hey guys, I'm in my room - hopefully you guys can see me good. I'M trying to check out different lighting in my house anyway, um you'll notice. I'Ve been doing a lot of videos with like customizing weeds. I wear a lot of wigs now, mainly on for next week's. I do have some lace from tools, but today I'm gon na be showing you how to do the elastic band method on your wigs, a lot of people, it's a lot easier to do it on a nice front school because of the location of the lace front And you can kind of figure out where you need to put it, but I'm gon na be showing you how to do it on a full lace wig. So here's the wig that I'll be doing it on, and this is what the inside of it looks like. So the first thing you want to do is you want to do your measurements? So normally you won't. Have your hair, like this you'll? Have it in the state, is if you're gon na put your actual wig on and so you'll be measuring from ear to ear. So you'll take the elastic band, so what you need is this is what I have. I bought a lot because I'll be using a lot for my wigs, though you don't have to buy that much cuz. It'S really not gon na take a lot to do a week, but I just like to have extras for just the case and I sew and stuff too so anyway. So what you do is go take the elastic band. You see it from up above your ear. All the way down to the bottom, you pull it very tight and you measure it like that. I already measured mine, but of course I measured it without my wig on, and so I have my measurements, and so the next thing you need to do is when you have your wig on, you need to see where it is that you need to place the Last advance, so you need to find out in the inside of your wig what it location is. A lot of people like I said they have a lace frontal, it's usually where the lace frontal ends, which is right above their ears. I don't before last week, so that is not so with that, but of course handmade from Jennifer, so it makes it a little bit easier. So my ears stop right here when she sewed the lace, were the lace meets on both sides? So that's where mine would be so when I put mine on that's what would be so now. What we're gon na do is we're gon na take and we're. Let me pull the count down. Maybe that helps okay. So now, what we gon na do is gon na find the back of the wig, which is here as you see where the adjustable straps are, and this is where my ears would be so because it's already being sewn right here, where the lace is. That'S why? I want to meet my plastic band. You don't want to put it here, because this is where it stretches that just was straps know when you pull them they stretch. So you don't want to sew it on that part because it'll keep it from stretching. You still want to use your just with straps, along with your elastic band, so you'll put it here and you'll make sure that it goes around and follows the pattern of the actual wig. So once you want it to go this way, not going this way up and down like this, no wanted to go back that way. So what we'll need for that, of course, is our lastik band, which I just showed you. We need some scissors we'll need needle and three. So what I did was, I thread it two needles, so that I can do one side and the other side trying to make it a little bit easier for you, no video purposes so we're gon na start on this side, and I already thread my needle we're Gon na start on this side - and another thing you need to know is - I still have the lace on my date - cut my legs off yet cuz. I still wan na customize, my wig, so you want to make sure that it's down far enough to where and when you get ready to cut the lace off you're, not cutting that off too, because this is a full lace wig. So so, of course, this part is up under the hair, so you want to follow along that area. At this point, all you gon na do is align the elastic with the part of the lace, that's sewn together the two parts of the laces on together. So that way it doesn't show up as much, but of course it's an inside, so you're not really gon na see it. So all you do is make sure once you're starting to so you put the thread behind the elastic. So the way the little knot won't like irritate your hair. You'Re not gon na see it because it's on the inside anyway, you're gon na make sure if you're sewing you're sewing it and you're pulling it tight. So that way it stays the elastic is not going to be stretchable forever. It'S not gon na have elasticity forever. So this is something you can do you know once again, you don't have to leave the same one in forever, but while it's in there you want to be tight and secure so make sure you're doing that, and here I'm just showing you it's sewn on, and It'S tight and it's secure so now I'm gon na go over and I'm gon na do the other side, but I'll be back after I do that. Okay, so here we go, an elastic band is on and it's tight, I'm gon na. Let you see what it looks like all right, so I'm gon na put this on and I'll be right back. Okay, you wake up, so I did the elastic band and adjustable straps. So now that feels very snug and it's gon na lay my legs down very nicely to give that phone we get in the background snug. It is like it's not going anywhere. It'S not going anywhere. So now I have to do is customize my wig, like that fingers on there good. So now I need to do is customize my wig and cut the lace, not be good to go. That'S right and another thing: when you do your measurements and everything for your lastic, you want it to be tight, want to be too tight when it gives you a headache, but you want to be tight enough to where you can do this and you got to Worry about it there to pull it up. You want to no no problems whatsoever. What do you guys think alright? Thank you for watching be blessed to have a blessed day. You
