Hey y'all, so it's been a while, since I've made a video, so I'm coming today to make a video about the wig business. The entire video today is just gon na be centering around two different questions that was asked in the Q & A that. I had on my Instagram, so the first question was: what are the best type of ways to sale, so a lot of people they're just torn they don't know if they should make their own wigs like make their with some sewing machine hand, stitch them or sell Weeks that their vendor provides so a lot of people are just kind of lying, okay, which one is better, which one should I do and honestly it doesn't matter, like all week's sale hand stitch week, sale, custom weeks made on the sewing machine, sale, vendor wig sale. Oh, I think what it is, I think, a lot of times: people just overthink people overthink the process too much. I think you have to do what is best for you. If you know how to hand stitch and you enjoy hand stitching, then you should make hand stitch weeks if you know how to use the sewing machine. If you enjoy using the sewing machine and make your weeks, then you should make sewing machine weeks. If you are not good with hand stitching or sawing sawing machine weeks you just throw in and you tried it and you just you just know it's not for you then go ahead and purchase the wigs from your vendor. You know so it there is no rules. There is no Wes, better Wes better than the other. There is none of that when it comes to the wig industry. That'S why I think the wig industry is so huge and I think that's why a lot of people a lot of people are getting into the week industry. It'S because you have so much freedom and no matter what type of wig you make or what type of when you sell they sell like people love them, people are buying, people are buying instant weeks, people are buying braiding weeks, people are buying. You know weaves from vendors. Wigs were low density, wigs with high density, like all of my people, are buying weeks all together. So when it comes to you making the making the decision on the type of weeks that you want to sell for your company. Think about your skill set what it is that you're able to do and provide on your own. Just keep that in mind just think about what it is that you can do and offer it. If you know you can't make week so go ahead and offer weeks from your vendor, there's nothing wrong with that. Some people buy vendor weeks and they customize on. They get a mail bleach. The nights they'll plug the part in there curl it they'll cut it. They are coloring, so some people buy bender weeks and sell em s. Is some people buy vendor weeks and customize? You know it's. Just the possibilities are endless. Like endless, you can do whatever you can start. However, you just have to decide. What you want to do is start, and if you start off selling vendor weeks that old me, you have to stay selling tender weeks. If you want to eventually learn how to hand-stitch or makes or machine weeks, then you can always do that, but I always like to tell people start with what you have start with what you have and you can always expand. You can always grow. You can offer both. I know people who offer both hands speech and saw machine. I know people who offered the entire thing hand, stitch saw machine and vendor weeks. I know people who only offer vendor weeks. So it's completely up to you. I would not overthink that just make a decision go for the next question that was asked. A lot is: how do you price your weeks, a lot of people they're just unsure of how they should price their wings and, honestly, the is done. The what I have to say is going to be the same thing I stand when it came to creating your own priceless, creating prices and making a profit. Those videos that I already have on my youtube channel. It'S pretty much the same exact thing. There is no special formula, I know a lot of people once again. A lot of people do overthink the process. They think it's like this special formula or equation. It'S not when it comes to wig making when you are actually making the wig itself. So let's say you hand, stitch or let's say you use the Masson. You use the sewing machine at that point, you are offering a service, you have to sit there and actually make something. So people are going to be paying for your time, your labor. How much is your time? How much is your labor worth that is going to be determine or the person? I cannot tell you how much you are worth. You cannot tell me how much I am worth. That is a price that is determined by the individual. How much do you think you are worth for your time to sit down and physically make that week? So you want to take that price, so that would be the price of wig construction actually putting together the league and then, if you are using hair. So you are going to provide the hair for the week. You need to also add in the prices of the hair that is used. Does that make sense? Does that make sense? So what you would do so we construction, the price for wig construction will be determined by the individual. How much you believe you are worth so a customers providing own hair or you just only you making the week that's going to be termed determined by how much you believe you are worth and then, if you are making a wig with hair that you are providing You are going to take that wig construction price in added to the cost. You know the amount it costs for those bundles and closures are that you are using, so what I would do for my week, prices whatever my bundles, are worth on my website. Whatever my closures are worth on my website, I take that price and I add in my construction now I do also add in a discount. I just add: I just take $ 15 off of that price. Why? Honestly it's just random, let is random. I was just idea why not just because you know what the number was looking kind of high and I know my target audience and where my targeting is kind of expected. So I was just like okay, I'm just gon na lower the price by $ 15. Just to make it, you know seem a little bit better. I mean what's $ 15, so that's what I do, but you don't have to do that at all or you can just simply come up with the prices. You feel are great for you um and then also when it comes to. If you sell it vendor weeks. Like I always say, look at the market look at other companies. There are selling weeks that come directly from their vendor and see how they are priced in their weeks and, I always say, try to stay within the same ballpark. You know if you are a new burger shop and you want it to figure out how to price your burgers, you're gon na look at how much you know Burger King selling, their burgers for them. You'Re gon na look at how much McDonald's selling their burgers from and then you're gon na set a price for your burger okay. It will be crazy for you to price your burger and fifty dollars. You can go to McDonald's, Burger King and get like a six dollar burger. You know, so that would be too outrageous. You will want to keep your prices within the same range, so I always feel like that's the best way to determine prices for items that you do get from your vendor, but also at the same time when it comes to making prices, is really all about. How much your audience is all about how much audience your target audience is willing to pay, and it's also about how much profit you want to make as well. So those are two factors you want to keep in mind as well, when it comes to pricing for your wigs. But, as you guys know, if you did attend my webinar that I had recently, I went into detail about finding your target audience and how your target audience determines everything in your business. So y'all are, you know, y'all ready. You know this. I know a lot of people are still struggling with finding their target audience, so I definitely would advise if you miss my webinar definitely make sure you check out the record and I will leave the link below so that you can get the recording. But yes, so this was pretty much just to answer those two questions. Those are the two questions I was asked, the most, which weeks are best to sell, and how should i price my weeks. So those are the two questions that I was asked about asked the most about the week company and pretty much. The answer is the type of week you sell is completely up to you, because all of them sell well, and the price is also up to you up to you. You do want to keep in mind. You know how much you believe, you're worth so yeah. We construction, you keep in mind the prices of the bundles and frontals closures, use making your wig and keep in mind your target audience, and you know the prices they're willing to pay yeah pretty much, but at what else would you guys like to know about leaks? Please I want to be able to make more videos about weeks. Obviously, I won't be able to make any videos about constructing wigs on a sewing machine, because all of my new updated techniques on constructing a sewing machine week is available and my online we're course at one line we quest.com. So I cannot show you how anything about constructing the weave on a sewing machine, but anything else concerning weeks. Anything else should I want to know when it comes to the wig business. Just leave it down below because I do want to make more videos - and I do want to be more helpful when it comes to selling weeks, because I know for most most of the stuff on my page is about starting a hair business. Even though the wig business and a lot of those videos they do all of the information I've given those videos are also very helpful and useful when it comes to the wig business as well. Teamchi: yesssss y'all she aint lying, I just realized 2 weeks ago I had to suck it up and start providing g a wig service, cause thats what everyone wants, so if you not seeing much sales with ur bundles, make them wigs, y'all better consider all those PayPal, shipping, tax, and if you are shipping online with Shopify and you have to use a separate payment processor fees when trying to create those prices, once you add everything up then yea compare the price to other prices you see, because you can't be out here just selling wigs and bundles and you not making a profit, I had to redo my price list a few times
