Hello, hello, hello and welcome back to my channel and welcome to my channel. If you are new here, i am daquina white. I bring plus size fashion content mostly, but i also bring beauty and lifestyle content so today i guess we'll put this in a beauty category, but i will be introducing and showing you guys how i put on this beautiful kinky straight. That is kinky straight. I added one curls unit over my beautiful head of locs okay, so i wanted to show an install showing a different texture because mostly i've been wearing like the kinky curly or like the deep waves. But i wanted to show you kinky straight and do some really nice wine curls, because it's been a minute since i even had big hair like this. So this unit is from my brand thrifty slate. I will take you from the start to the finish with this unit, because i had to kind of learn some things as i went along because i had never did like a kinky straight. So i was like. I don't really know if it's going to blend well like the kinky curly or the deep curly, but this one actually turned out to be beautiful. I love the way it looks. This is scalp, so it's definitely a given scalp. I am very very tender headed, so i had to learn to actually clip the top first before i did anything else, so um yeah those are just some things again that i will go through when it comes to installing this unit, which you will see so again. This is a 20 inch kinky straight unit from thrifty sleigh. It is a v part unit and um. We added wand curls to it, but let's go ahead and get into the install, i won't hold you guys any longer um i have locks. They are looking like this. They need to be one wash two retwisted, it's been, maybe about a month and a half two months since i had a retwist um. This here is just like eco styler caked up. So that's why i'm not gon na put any more on today, but usually i will put some type of eco styler or something um. I love when my locs kind of look kind of oldish but anywho. So first things. First, i take water. Now, if you don't have locs - and you are just naturally stuff your natural curls or relax whatever the case may be, you don't even have to worry about all these steps like as far as like wetting your hair, and all of that you can probably just moisten It dampen it as they stay real, quick or while you're in the shower. You can do a low bun. That'S what i used to like to do before. I was locked up not in a that sense, but you know before i got my locks, i used to just wet my hair in the shower real quick, throw it in a low bun and put a wig on so yeah um. I'M, like i said, i'm not going to do any eco styler, but i am going to do a little bit of this edge control. This is the arkani coil care. A lot of people always ask me what edge control i use and i either use our connie or she is bomb. My she is bomb is all the way in the back like. I literally have to organize my um makeup once more, because now i got these clear trays that i just got from amazon and we're about to get that popping, because i literally organized everything else in the studio outside of all these clothes lined up on his couch. But i did my wax and nail bar and i did my closets the display one as well as the actual closet. So almost everything in here is done, like literally the makeup bar or makeup area is the last part. So once i do that, i go in with a smaller like edge brush, and just you can do some swoops. If you want, you can do your whole hairline if you want, but i don't. I literally just focus on the part and also what i was using. Was this hair wax stick as well, but, like i said it's already too much buildup, so i'm not going to use three products, i'm just going to use this one and we're still getting good results and you can take it all the way back. If you want. I'M literally just focusing on the front and just put it in a little pony now i'm tender headed, so it could be tighter for some folks, but again i'm trying to hurt it so put it in a little pony. I only wrap it twice. It doesn't have to be super tight for me, especially because the texture hair that i use is not super flat or silky, or anything like that. So then i'll take a stocking cap and just push it all the way back like all the way, or else you may see it right here, so you just want to cover like those areas like that, but you want to make sure your part is good. So i don't know which texture i want to do. This one is the kinky curly, and this is 18 inches um. This is thrifty, sleigh uh. We recently launched them. I had to try them before i launched them because i was like. I don't want to launch a v part and i have no clue how they work, how they look or anything like that so yeah. I have to try it before i posted it or launched it. So i always have just a pile of trash baby like you want me to get this too. So on the inside of our v parts, we actually added this band a lot of people. Don'T add this band here to give you that extra support that you may need, but we do add that band and then we have, of course, the two side combs and then we have the get out the way band back comb. And then we have the five clips at the top to make it a v. Now this one is the kinky curly. Now, of course, you would run your fingers through it. I wouldn't wear it in this texture. I would literally um have to either go in with a brush or a comb, but the other v part wig that i did try. It said human hair and i could tell like the difference between human and virgin and it's no shade to people who still wear human or synthetic or anything like that. But for me, if i'm gon na buy a wig and invest in it over a hundred dollars. I want it to last, like years and years, and i've worn thrifty, sleigh wigs for three four years at a time and they have lasted so i'm over here, just trying to create a different texture in this hair, and it does take a while because it is Kinky curly, so it takes some running through, but you can see that's the texture after doing a little bit of running through it um compared to this side. This is what i would prefer a little bit more actually but yeah. This is that one here i don't know what i want to do yet. So, let's sit that over there i have a 14 inch deep wave. Now this one, i already tried deep wave because i feel like that's what i had last time: a mixture between kinky and deep wave. So i'm just like i kind of want to do something different, but i'm so used to my kinky curly, like that's literally just the type of hair that i usually go for. Come on. Okay, so again same thing on the inside, but this one is just shorter and i wanted this to be yeah. The other one was more like a kinky curly, because this is like way softer, and i mean the one that i reviewed last time. But this one is shorter and it's deep curly and i wanted to do something like a afro or just a quick fix in a sense. But i don't know what i want to do. I'M trying to see i'm not feeling short and big, but i may go with the kinky curly, because the kinky straight is going to take too much and because i already had a longer one. I went kind of shorter with those two um, but i think next time i may try like a loose wave or something, but i'm really like trying to match the texture, because you can see, i am locked, so got ta match that. So this one. That'S why? I went with kinky straight interior is the same and it is again virgin hair, but this one is a kinky straight, so i feel like this will match my hair a little bit better in a sense. So i think i might try this one, but i don't know so. I actually took a thin part of the hair so, where the part lines up, i took a thin part like this and wrapped it over the part to kind of conceal it a little bit more and then i'm going to attempt to go back and get it Perfect because i literally clipped it tons of times so we are going to kind of measure and then i want to clip this middle one in the back first. So it definitely conceals it a bit better. But i'm not done up here. Okay, um go ahead and do this side, because what i found myself doing was kind of pulling here and tucking it anyway. So i'm just like we can just start off by tucking it a little bit. So i'm thinking i want to come up here and do kind of like a layer in a sense, so it'll look a little like that, but i don't know just to you know consider that part a little bit more. So i'm gon na go through and finish um doing wine curls over here, uh, maybe i'll speed through that part um. I didn't know i had this much left. Remember is so once you, you know, get all your wand. Curls done! You want to go in and you want to kind of do a little. You know the up down up down, but i have to back all the way up, because i don't want to knock anything off of my makeup desk but yeah. You want to do like the. What is that, but yeah you want to do the waterway scoop back. Okay and like the that thing right there to make it more voluminous but yeah, then i tease it at the roots or like with my hands or you can go and take a comb or brush and do like that type of tease. Just to give it a little more volume and a little more messiness, honestly, the more i wear this unit, the better i will like. I love it right now, but you know over time, like these types of curls just get bigger and fuller as you, you know, play with a little more or wear it a little more like second day hair in a sense, so i'm gon na probably find myself Doing this throughout the day, you can also, if you have this piece of hair like right, where you want it kind of pin it right in place but yeah. This is what it's looking like. You want to get a little more volume there and i want to hold that and pull that down a little bit, because i don't need to be like that messy. You know, if you don't want it to be, but um, and we have another area over here. So the actual part of this wig is over here, like. Let me show you in the front okay here, so it starts like right here and right here. Um, the rest is just the hair being voluminous over it so yeah. I love this absolutely love this. Like a hundred times love this okay, i actually forgot to show you all, but what i did in this area - and i just took a little short piece right - something like that and i don't mind doing it again, but just with that thin part, take it and Create kind of like your layer in a sense and that'll help your teeth, kind of sit better and layer better into your face, so it doesn't just look like you're trying to take these long pieces and tease them to cover the roots like it just looks like. Okay, well, it's kind of shorter there so boom we cute, but yeah. That was my tutorial on this v part unit. This one is kinky straight. I will this one again is the kinky straight unit. I will tell you like, of course, i probably wouldn't do it. Just straight because i feel like that would be way too much trying to blend and it wouldn't sit right. I would literally only do kinky straight in like a wand, curl or a flexi rod set now um kinky curly, deep curly. It doesn't require. All of that. So yeah, that is this v part unit, i'm about to actually throw on some makeup and y'all will see me again with the same hair, um doing my makeup. But i wanted to kind of separate this one because it is, you know it needed its own intro right, and this is so new for me, like i haven't done, hair like this, and so so so so so long like i love it, so you guys will See me in the intro, my makeup and stuff will be done, but um yeah.
