Realistic Knotless Braid Wig | Very Detailed Wig Install | Wow African

Hello a-listers, it is me ashley, and today i am extremely excited, because i have teamed up with my friends over at wow african to bring you the first ever braided wig i've shown on my channel. I have never had a braided wig installed before and honestly. I don't even think you all have seen me in braids just in general, so i'm starting out getting my hair done by my stylist touched by tj. I wanted tj to install this braided wig for me um, because we are actually going to be using some products. I'M really really excited about before we jump in, though there's touch by tj's instagram handle and tasha's instagram handle tasha is the one who made the braided wig for me and tj is installing it so make sure you go follow tasha over on her instagram, both hair Stylists are located in the dallas fort worth area so hopping into the products we are actually using erica j's glue. If you don't follow her already her handles are like hair by erica j. She also has a youtube channel and i think it's just erica j. Her products are amazing. You guys tj got his hands on her glue and we did the balls cap method. You guys know, though um i'm pretty much like vehemently against the bald cap method. So i really only kept the style in the glue form for like a couple of days. I took it down and then i reinstalled it myself using the glueless method, but i really wanted to try erika j's glue and i really want to commend her because the formula is different from any other hair glue. I'Ve tried it's different from ghost bond or bold hold, because what i noticed with the glue is that it was extremely easy to remove. It didn't irritate my hairline or my edges and when i removed the bald cap i removed it properly once i did that again. There'S tasha's instagram handle she made the braided wig so make sure you go follow her on instagram, but once i removed this braided unit to wash my natural hair and wash the unit and then reinstall it using the glueless method, i found that my edges were still Intact i had to take my mask off just then y'all, because the glue was gluing, my mask and my wig down at the same time over by the ear tabs. So i'm so sorry. I had to take my mask off for that part, but this glue by erica j is amazing, so i believe tj put on about three layers of the glue very thin layers, sheer layers, and then he applied the braided unit. These are knotless braids by the way and the wow african wig specifications will be down below in the description box. I absolutely love this wig because it took the braids so well like it took these knotless braids, so so so. Well so what tj is going to do is cut my lace in the very front. Now he already bleached the knots and he did that before tasha installed the knotless braids on the unit and he's just cutting my lace now and then he's going to go in and like tweeze my baby hairs because they're a bit dramatic for my liking. I did give tj creative control. I believe this was the first braided wig he'd ever installed, so i gave him creative control with the baby hairs but, as you guys may know, i really love like a very subtle wispy, baby hair, and so he was just doing some like swoopy, swoops and curling Curls and i'm not mad at it, you know it's always good to try new things right right. So basically, what he's doing is cutting the lace all the way around my head now we're zoomed in just a little bit closer, so you all can see how he's going to create the baby hairs. I was telling him by using you know my finger that i wanted like a space where it looked like scalp and then i wanted the baby hairs to begin so he's just doing a really thorough job of tweezing, the hair, so that there isn't a lot. A lot of baby hair, like the hairs itself, they're going to be a lot of swoopy swoops. Don'T get me wrong, so tj is just going in. I believe he's using a bit of got to be gel mixed with um erica j's fluff stuff he's going to go in with erika j's fluff stuff after he like molds and sculpts the baby hairs. I really love this braided wig and i'm actually considering getting another one, because this one is just that amazing. It'S one of those like super quick and easy hairstyles that i can throw on that. Don'T take any time or any effort outside of installing it and swooping some of these baby hairs out, that's it. So this is the erica j fluff stuff. By the way, you guys - and i really love the erica j fluff stuff, especially in comparison to the nairobi, foaming mousse, the fluff stuff - it's just it's really fluffy, just like the name and it really molds and sculpts the baby hairs without disrupting and disturbing the lace. You know so you can really get in there and mold and sculpt and swoop and style these baby hairs um. But if you've ever used like the nairobi foam, you might notice that, like sometimes you'll get in a groove of styling your baby hairs and then the lace starts lifting up. But with this i didn't notice the erica j fluff stuff, disrupting the lace. So tj is coming to an end with my baby hairs. I really really liked the baby hairstyle that he chose. It was difficult for me to replicate, i will be honest or to duplicate so my baby hairs. Don'T look like this at home, but i think he did an amazing amazing job. I really did like how it turned out. So this concludes my braided wig, install again touched by tj installed.
