Let'S Install An Hd Lace Wig Together Ft Beeos Hair | As Told By Kira

Hey y'all, it's kara welcome back to my channel. It'S been a while it's been almost a year, literally like 10 months, no, probably like eight months since i but last posted a video, but i'm coming back, i'm going to be posting videos, and i should probably like reintroduce myself. So my name is kira. I'M 24.. I make hair makeup and beauty videos, um yeah, that's kind of like my vibe and as you can probably tell by the title today, we are installing this wig. This is a wig from bios hair and it is a hd lace. Wig, i've never installed the hd lace wig before but y'all. Let me tell you, let me tell you, i'm not going to hold you up too long, i'm going to go ahead and get into this video, but before i get into it, definitely make sure to like comment and subscribe down below like the video to. Let'S just go ahead and get into it and i'll. Tell you all about how i customized this wig and installed it on my head. So let's customize this wig together. So this is how it came. It came with full lace in the front and partial lace in the back and with a free wig cap. We love that i placed my wig on my mannequin head, so i can kind of get a sense of what i need to do and i decided that i needed to bleach the knot and to pluck a little bit. So i took the wig off the mannequin head and place it back on backwards, and then i used 20 volume developer and l'oreal quick blue bleach. I mixed those two up until i got kind of like a toothpaste consistency. I honestly could have used a little bit less developer, but i was following the directions on the packet, and this is the consistency that i ended up with so after i ended up with that consistency. I just applied it to the scalp. I really try to use a light hand y'all, but i am not a professional, so i did over bleach a little bit, but it honestly wasn't too bad. So i think that in the future i would just make it just a little bit thicker after that. I washed out with my rucker root, shampoo and conditioner, definitely make sure to check out their brand. I love them. I use it on my actual hair and they are black women owned in spam and alumna. So we love that. After that i attempted the arrogante method. I am not a professional stylist y'all, but i really did try um so for his method. He hot combs a section of the hair to the front and then he goes in and plucks the section behind um. I ended up plucking, both sections you're not supposed to do that. But, honestly, i do think that this method works. I think i just need it to pluck like a whole lot more um and if you're interested just google, the arrogant, hay method or youtube argente method, because i do think that his method is a good method. So yeah. This is me not following directions but yeah. I think that his method works well and y'all should check it out if you want to pluck your own wigs okay, so i'm about to install the wig um. I have all my supplies here. You can't really see it, but i have, but i have all my supplies here. I have um bed head heart head, um hairspray. I have some alcohol some setting powder. That'S my skin tone some little alligator clips to clip my lid back um, some wig caps and then some gossipy glue. Just in case i don't use that um last night i went ahead and put my wig into rollers. I think i'm gon na take the rollers out, but not separate until it's like on my head last night. I also laid my hair down and i prefer to lay my hair down than to braid it up, because one i can't break to the head and then two um, i feel like it just makes everything look nice and flat like it literally is my head shape. So that's good um yeah, i'm gon na! Do the ball cap method, i'm gon na start by just taking a little bit of alcohol and a paper towel wipe off my forehead, there's probably a lot of alcohol on my forehead yeah. It'S a good thing! I'M doing this because i did my makeup first and it is taking some stuff off now, i'm getting the bed head spray and i'm going to go ahead and just spray around i'm gon na do like two or three layers: okay, so i'm gon na let this Dry down, then, i'm going to come back when it's dry and do the second layer y'all this bed head hairspray. It'S like i've used it before for like not for a wig, but just for like my hair, and it is like so surprisingly light. So you do not need that many layers. I did probably way too many layers i like to use powder because powder um obviously isn't oily. It'S like a lack of oil if anything it'll map out your hair, so there's no oil um, and i like that, because if you use oil you can your stuff can lift a little bit easier. You don't want to use too much powder either, but a little bit of powder. Okay, i think that's the best. We can do i'm going to go ahead and apply the got to be glue, um, just a thin layer, i'm gon na do, i think, two thin layers. The first one is just to kind of smooth down the wig cap. So so this is how it's looking. It'S a little bit of the line. I probably shouldn't put the powder, but i think it doesn't look that bad honestly, like up close. It does but like we're putting a wig over it. So it's time to put on the wig okay, my plucking job. If anything is that girl, because yeah just got ta, make sure this like comes down here? Okay, i think this is going to be cute, but as far as cutting um, the wig i'm just going to cut across in a zigzag motion, i'm going to try to follow the hairline a little bit. Okay, so cut the leg. This is how it looks it's like very close to the hairline. The lace is a really nice lace, it's a hd lace, um, and that makes it look like really invisible. So it's actually a really nice wig um, the one of the nicest wigs that i've ever installed so yeah, let's pray. I hope that this comes out well, um, if it doesn't, it is definitely a me thing, not the wig. So let's see all right. I'M again, i'm gon na go and do a really thin layer. Try to make sure you don't have any hairs under the wig or i'm trying to make sure i don't have any hairs under the wig and i'm just gon na fire right now, like i'm so shook and almost like. How are people getting these good looking installs and i really think it's the lace. I think it's the lace. I think you can kind of do whatever with the hair. The lace you need to make me invest in. I think it's worth it because look at that, like obviously you can see it a little bit, but it's really good and i i can hide that i feel like so i'm just kind of massaging the scalp with the rat tail comb to really get it to Stick um to my scalp and kind of melt. Tell me this is in my hair, like you can obviously see it like right here like where it is, but this is good. This is really good. Look at this i'm gon na. Let this sit for a couple minutes um and then i'm gon na take out my rollers and i'm gon na come back with final results, all right y'all. So this is the final look. I took down the flexi rods and this is how my hair looks without i think it looks really cute. I definitely still have some melting to do a little bit more on the lace. I try to do some baby hairs. I think that made it look like a lot more natural, but also at the end of the day, it's a wig. I think it looks realistic enough and i think it's super cute um, so my overall review of the hair and the wig overall, i think it's really nice. My favorite part of this wig is definitely the lace. I think that is like a really really good quality lace, um, and it really made it easy to kind of blend to my head. I'Ve tried to install wigs in the past and honestly, like the lace, is just like it's like the hardest part to try to do for me, honestly, um, and even though i didn't get this one perfect, i don't think i think i still did a pretty good Job for this only being like my second wig video on here, so it's super soft, it's nice and realistic, looking it doesn't have a smell or anything um, maybe cons, but i don't even think i would call them cons, but maybe some things to consider um. This hair isn't like jet black hair. It'S kind of like a natural color has like some pieces of like um like a little bit more reddish brown hair in it. So it's like a really natural brown color all over um, and i know some people really like a jet black wig. So if you like jet black, then you might have to dye it. I decided not to dye it and i think it still looks really cute. I think it looks like dark enough without it being jet black, and i think it looks like kind of like more natural. This way, maybe um. The next thing to consider is that the knots don't come pre-bleached and i don't think it's pre-plucked i went in and did some customization and plucked some more to make it um a little bit more like realistic. I guess like just make it a little bit more sparse so that it didn't look like you know, just like straight wig um. It didn't look like super dense or any anything crazy at the front um, but i went ahead and plucked it. So that's something! Then the last thing to consider for this wig there are like little little flyaways. I do think it actually makes the hair look a little bit more natural because, like everybody has flyaways like nobody has just like one set length of hair. But i tame the flyaways with my hot comb and a little bit of mousse and i think it looks pretty good. This is like maybe a little bit of the fly away showing because i switched up my part, but i honestly don't think that's bad at all and i think it's natural and i think it looks nice. So those are a couple considerations in the pros of this wig. Overall, if you ask me, should you get it or not get it again? I didn't buy this wig. It was sent to me, but i think i would buy it if not for anything else. Just the lace alone, i really like it. Thank you so much to bl's hair for sending me this wig um y'all.
