Hello guys and welcome back to my channel, don't judge me, you guys are going to see a lot of videos with this outfit on and it is because i had got off a 10 hour shift and i was still hyped and ready to record. So i listen, you got ta record a lot okay and i'm not gon na change for these videos. You know it is what it is. Okay, on today's video, we are going to be talking about ventilating. So what is ventilating ventilating is a technique that is used to make a wig okay. Now, when i say make a wig it is you putting someone using a ventilated needle, which is a korean needle or german needle uh asian needle? I think it's another needle, but those are the main three and you're using that needle to put lace into some kind of late at a time. Okay, now what the average wig maker that you guys may see on a day-to-day basis, what they are doing is i call it like putting the puzzle pieces together, not really making a full wig. It'S not really they're, not really making a full wig they're just putting pieces together to create a wig but they're. Not. Let me just say this they're not making the pieces to put the wig together. Okay, so a ventilator is making pieces or yeah they're making pieces and putting the wig together they're doing both and a regular wig maker. Our average wig maker today is just putting the pieces together, they're not making the pieces themselves. I hope that makes sense. If you don't ask me some questions down below i'm sure to answer them: okay, so in 2000 and i'm gon na go back a little bit in 2016 or 17. I got my first ventilating class. I went through it and i will always go through it. Every few months, but i never did anything with it: okay, in 2008, 19, 18 or 19. I practiced a little bit. Okay, like often on very spread out, though 2020 came, you guys see. What'S going on, we have a lace shortage because of what's been happening. Now i will leave the video to the late shortage of what that is in this video and i'll leave it down below and put it in a card on the screen. Now i didn't start, i didn't. I didn't end up doing this because it was a lace shortage at all. Okay, like i said, i knew about ventilating even before 2016-17. I just didn't you know it's just something i had saw and learned about um. What got me to doing. It is because, first of all, it was some hidden in the stash and i'm like now, i'm ready to ventilate a wig. It just so happened that it's a lace, shortage, okay and my goal is to become a medical, cranio prosthesis. I think that's how you pronounce it prosthesis, which i will be making wigs for cancer patients now. That'S really why i'm like i have to get back into vanilla. I have to get into ventilating is because my goal is to make wigs for cancer patients and people with alopecia and children who has cancer okay. I do not believe that the weeds we make now are typical week maker week and don't get me wrong, nothing's wrong with that, i'm still going to be making those to get a custom fit and to understand skin um. You guys know i am a cosmetologist, so certain fabrics, if you have no hair and it's just a dome cap, which is a lot of fabric on top of someone's head, may irritate them something in those um dome caps have dyes in them which can irritate the Scalp, so my thinking was to become get my um become a medical cranial prosthesis to make to take insurance medically, so people can be able to pay for these weeks, because now people make the regular typical weeks, on a sewing machine, hand stitch all that for cancer Patients, i believe and understand that you have to come at that kind of thing at a whole, nother level um, it's gon na, take a lot of time to make duh. We know that, but um the profit and the timing match for me. It makes sense. For me, and that's something that is ahead of um, what we're seeing today and also being a ventilator, i can ventilate and make wigs from scratch that fit. Someone with no hair very snug went because i can mix laces and i can put a piece of lace. A different thicker piece of lace in the back for longevity and a thinner, more more um natural lace in the front, so the hairline looks like the personal original hair or whatever they want to be or have their hair look like now. Also, there is not a lot of black ventilators out here. It'S just not. I have met a handful of them during all this stuff. That'S been going on for the past few months, five six months, amazing people they are amazing people. Do you guys hear me super super supportive people and i'm like dang, it's not a lot of us, which i already knew, but now the the floodgates for me to really see it. Is there um? So that is my reason for starting to ventilate and then what so happened was somebody. I went to um uh what i call them one of my wig buddies. You know that i met um doing all these super supportive um i'll leave all his information down below and also on the screen james. I asked him when we first met to start um. I need a ventilating class like a touch-up, because i still had my class mind you, but i needed a touch-up of what people were asking me to do, which was repairing lace like. Can they get this lace repaired from hoes rips tears, baldies
