Luvmehair U-Part Bob Wig | Turning My U-Part Wig To A V-Part Wig

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, thank you for tuning in for yet another hair video. Today, i'm going to be doing this bob look from love me, hair um. Let me tell y'all when i first tried this on, i just kind of wanted to see what was going to go on. I definitely look like the lady from incredibles and i was cracking myself up because i was like wow anyway, so i tried this on. This is a you park and i decided i do not want to have you part. So, let's get into how i change this into a thin part wig, but before we do that, i'm going to unbox the hair and show you guys what it looks like. Of course it has a nice little bag that it comes in. This is the wig. It'S definitely one of the shorter bobs that they offer. I kind of wanted a longer one, but there was no more available. So i here we are, but i end up really liking it at the end. So yes, as you can see, this hair is very texture. It is a kinky straight texture, so it has those kinks in it, but i know how to get those out so stay tuned for that um. This is just the construction of the wig. As you can see, they have three clips and yeah like i was showing you guys the kinks, but this is what came in the box. It had a wig cap. It has another little bag with some goodies in it. So yes um. So this is a spandex band, so you can actually sew this onto your wig to make it more secure. It also came with this silk scarf for tying on those edges, some bobby pins and a clip also edge control, brush and comb. You can never go wrong with that. Okay, so i'm going to start by cutting off these because i'm not going to need them because i'm going to re-sew a different type up there, and this is just for the purpose of being able to make this into a thin part. Wig and not a you park because i realized after i bought it. I ain't trying to have that much sleep out. If you know i didn't realize i'm not on camera. Doing this, i'm not really trying to have a lot of leave out so yeah we're going to cut these right off. Okay! So now i'm taking another old lace, front wig and i have cut this one up a lot and reused the lace for other purposes um. But basically i'm just cutting a piece off that lace, and that is what i'm going to sew on to the. U part to make it a thin part, wig, okay, so now that it's fully sewed on i'm going to part the wig, because i want to find a good place to cut it um. As you all can see, my parting seals are horrible. I had to do a lot to try to find the middle and do a straight part, but we finally got there: okay um, so i'm just cutting um, all the additional longer pieces off and now i'm going to cut it right down the middle, and this is How i'll do my thin part i'll? Throw some clips on and um we'll have our little thin part? As you can see, i use two different clips. I use um the regular sliding clips for the front of it and then i use the actual one that clips um for the back. If that makes sense, if it doesn't you'll see what i mean when i show you the construction of the wig and now i'm just going to blow dry and straighten the wig and kind of style it to my liking. Well, all right! I'M ready to install the wig, so i just put this pack part back because i actually left way too much out. So what i did notice is the part became a lot smaller when i did it like that. Didn'T necessarily have to, though, so i could have cut this lace more and move this clip further back, i don't mind the short part. Well, i speak too soon. I haven't tried it on yet and so we'll see if i like, the short part, if not, i probably will cut this a little more, so i can have a longer part, i'm not really big on short parts, i'm going to clip this part. First, there we go all right and, as you can see, all i have to do is slide those in, and i think i need to go further back and that's way too close yeah, i'm going to go further back that i'll, probably get left a little less. Now, all right there, we go slide that in slide the other side in. I just love these these clips because it just slides in perfectly with the base um and i could take a little more hair out, which i probably would end up doing not for this, because i already i already put it on, but when i wear it in In like real life, because i'm not about to do anything right now, i'm just kind of doing this with video i'm going to slide it more back all right, and so this is super cute. Okay y'all know when i tried this on the first time in the beginning of this video i was like. No, i don't think i can do this, but this is super cute. You guys. Ah, i love this and i love the fact that i made it into a thin part, because i don't i'm not gon na - have that much of my hair out yeah. This is gon na bother me i'm going to unclip this one. I just really don't feel like. I wonder if i can like no i'm trying to take a little bit more of my leave out out, but y'all y'all gon na get the gist we're gon na flat iron. My hair and just imagine that i have enough of this hair out and and and then we're just gon na. Imagine that it's fine, so i actually turn my straightener down to 380, because this joint gets hot and my hair doesn't need that much. So we just don't straighten that. Oh you guys. This is super cute. Okay, all right and you know i'm gon na get my little beady beads i mean what do you call them? I don't think they're called beta beads a little edges. Oh, i think i just almost hurt myself there. This is super cute um yeah. I did not leave enough of my remember. I just showed y'all i didn't leave enough about, but i, if i had the back out this would be able to cover this part. So just imagine it's covered because i don't really feel like it, but i'm gon na take it off and redo it hold on. I just can't i can't leave y'all with with it. Looking like this and y'all like what what the heck is going on here. All right, so let me oh the takeout process with these combs, so what i do for easy takeoff. This is actually a good leather learning. I go under the wig and i put i help and i push and pull at the same time, because sis is not trying to damage any hair all right. Let me unclip that all right, so we gon na take a little bit more out perfect all right. Now we're gon na re-clip all right, i got ta. Take this whole thing off all right. All right! We'Re gon na re-clip, this all right, perfect, i'm gon na re-slide that in i'm super excited about this bob. You guys it looks really good. I was kind of scared when i initially tried it on, though, like i'm not gon na lie. I was like i don't know if this is for me um, but actually it's actually really cute um, all right, yeah, all right, perfect! It'S already secure in the back perfect all right now we can flat iron. This part uh. This is like a little weird right here. I wonder if it's gon na stay down, we'll figure it out in a second, so we're gon na straighten this part. We doing one pass with our hair because that's the beauty of having oh yeah. This looks super good. You guys, i don't know what's happening over here, though, like what did we do wrong? Something weird is happening over there, but i'm gon na figure that out. But let me just finish this bob is super cute okay. So, as i talked about in um the beginning of this video, i was mean lazy and i did not feel like dying. This hair black, like i've, been doing with all of my hair, but the closure that i cut off of the other wig and put on this to make it a thin part is black and it matches my hair texture really well. Well, i know i have this weird little thing here: i'm gon na fix that y'all, it's gon na be late. Don'T worry, let me just fix it now. Once again, i have to it's a little teeny perfectionism in me. That was like we can't be out here like this. Okay, it's fixed, perfect, okay, listen just a little maneuvering of these uh clips and you can you can do what you got to do all right. Yes, totally fixed looks so good um. Can i do behind the ear almost, but no, i tried it um, but if i would leave more of the sides out, i definitely could do behind the ear, but i absolutely love this bob. I wasn't sure how a short bob would really look on me, because i really wanted a longer bob. I wanted like a 14 inch bob. They didn't have any more on the website, so i got the 10 inch bob, but this is super cute, like it's super super cute um, i'm gon na get a little bit more of these textures out, because i thought i wanted it more texture, but i don't Necessarily need it that textured come on. Oh, i did turn this down to 380.. Well, just know that, as you guys saw as i straighten it, the texture just it does come out, but like the wavy texture, if you want it to you, just have to have it on higher heat and then use smaller sections and it will come out. But y'all this bob, this bob is cute. I'M gon na do a turn around. Let me just move my little mannequin head. I hope you guys can see it, but yeah like i was saying i might eventually go back in and dye this whole entire bob black to match my hair and to match the hair that i put on, but, honestly to me it doesn't look too too too Bad i mean it looks like i got some black on black highlights situation going on which you know it is what it is anyways.
