I know y'all can tell us a wig, because that's the whole reason why you're here but humor me a little bit. I never seen nothing like this before i never had this much hair on my head in my life and i used to wear braids, i mean come on. This wig is a clear lace, yaki straight lace, front wig from xrsbeauty hair. The lace on this wig is a 13 by 6 lace front, so it's 13 inches across and six inches back. So you got part and space for days or you can part all the way back here hold on where it go. Like. I also said it is clear lace, so the lace is clear: it's just supposed to melt into the skin i'll get into that a little bit later. The length of this wig is 28 inches and it is 200 percent density. Now, let's go ahead and get into the density on this wig. You can choose three types of density on this wig. 150. 200. 250: this one's 200. You can definitely go lower for your length choices. You can have. It ranges from 14 inches to 32 inches and this one's 28 inches. Let me show you how long 28 inches is. Don'T look at my armpits okay. I think i don't think i should that's 28 and i'm five three, i'm poking it out a little bit, but that is 28 inches on a five three and a half girl and under the cap, when you pop the hood on this wig, you have four combs And adjustable straps in the back and, of course, when i received this wig, it came in the xrsbeauty hair box. For my gifts, i received a wig cap, a baby hair brush a wide to comb, some perm rods and a detachable elastic band that you can place inside of your wig to make her fit more snug and even possibly wear her glueless. You get your beautiful gorgeous. Wig now, when i pull her out the box, i was like i mean if i had like the cartoon sound of the big gulp. That'S what came out because this hair this is a 200 density wig. It is super duper thick. I was also stuck by the fact this wig came with beautiful, clear lace and a clean hairline. Clear lace, basically is lace that you cannot see that it's undetectable to the eye when you melt it into your skin like butter. Not all clear lace is made the same to me and not all lace is made the same. So there are different types of lace, but your most common types of laces out there. There is your clear lace, your transparent lace and your brown lace. So, as you can see, with the transparent lace transparent to who is the question because it didn't melt into my skin, it kind of sat on top, the color is not right, transparent seems to only work for certain skin tones and them skin tones ain't me now. You have your brown lace, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It all depends on the type of lace that it is. If it's the right brown lace you're. In luck, the difference with clear lace is supposed to melt into the skin seamlessly. As you can see, it melts better into the skin once you spray it down and melt it down, it's it's giving scalp, let's go ahead and get back into the hair. So when i pull her out of the box, it was intimidating because there's so much hair and it's such a beautiful texture of hair. This hair is a gorgeous yaki, kinky straight texture. The great thing about this wig is that i didn't have to do much to it. I did have to style it, but customization was already done for me and i love that. But i get to show you first reactions to applying the wig and how i make the wig look more realistic. I'M not a bald cat method, girl and that's hard with clear lace, but you can do it. All we had to do is get her down and style her and that's it. Okay, let's go ahead and get started, we're gon na start off with our base. Now. Okay, i know that clear lace is gon na tell your teeth. Your wig cap is going to be on full display, so our goal today is to not do the bald cap method and conceal the wig cap. Can we do it? I think we can so i'm going to do a little faux, bald cap method using the wig grip. So let's go ahead and toss her on we're gon na throw on our head and see what happens, see what happens and the great thing about a wig grip is that it keeps your wig cap on without you having to glue it down next step. I'M going to take a wig cap now these are the wig caps that they sent to me. What happened girl? What is this? These things were connected at the hip pop this on. Do i look bald kinda? Like i mean i haven't put her on at all yet so i want to see what she looks like. Oh yes, do you see that you can see the wig cap it's right there, so you can see that the hairline is already pre-plucked pre-bleached girl. We got ta, do nothing to this hairline, i'm not plucking it. I'M not. I didn't bleach the knots i didn't even wash this wig at all. It is hot. This wig is hot. The only thing that i did was add the zeeelee flattening souffle, and i just let the wig dry with the flattening souffle. So i was just trying to flatten her up a little bit. This is the way i prep my wigs. So when i hot comb it it's like, you know what i'm saying it's giving sleek it's giving hairline. It makes it a lot easier. So i just added some mousse to it and let it dry okay, let me bring up now they. I know you lying okay, so the hairline is done. We don't have to do anything to it, but flatten it y'all know i like to do a little flat-tation on it. Oh my god, look at all that parting space. What not me digging in my scalp, like that, okay, so we're gon na have to figure out what type of part i'm gon na do middle part side. Part. Let'S see what the side part looks like i'm gon na do a side part this time. Y'All know. I don't like type, i'm a middle part girl. Oh yes, we're doing a side part since we're doing a side part. I got ta flatten this hairline in a different way. We got ta do a little bit something extra. So i'm going to! Oh, my god. That'S what i smelled burning. I just burnt my wig cap. Oh my god. Let'S go ahead and flatten this hairline y'all know i use a combination of things since i already used the mousse on the hairline. We also have to use a wax stick because i ain't gon na be out here in these streets. Looking a fool with a humpty dump in my head or speed bump in my wig. I don't want that. We'Re gon na use our zeeellee hair line master. Why am i reading this whole thing like it's a storybook, let's just start off by flattening the hairline and see where we can go from here. This is the andis hot comb. It doesn't get super hot, but it does the job that we need her to do so. I know we have to over direct the hair, so i'm going to use the wax. Stick. I'Ve parted the hair like towards the center area and we're just going to start wax sticking it down. So i add the wig wax y'all know it's always chaos in here and i'm just going to flatten it, oh usually with yaki, hair or kinky straight hair. The hair has really really fine strands. No ma'am. These strands are really really thick. Okay, let's flatten it i'm gon na flatten some of this like that. Okay, now, let's do the hairline. Now, when i'm flattening the hairline, i'm trying to be careful, i'm not trying to burn the forehead that i have so i'm just gon na flatten. On top of the wig grip, i'm not trying to burn myself y'all see how flat that is. Oh, my god. Look at that - oh oh, that is so satisfying - oh my god! So next, it's time for us to cut the lace, so we're just going to pull all this hair out of the way. But look at that. I'M about to get real, close y'all can really give this clear lace, their flowers because look! Oh i'm gon na get y'all in real close because we're about to cut this lace, we're gon na go ahead and cut the lace using our annie. Shears y'all know these are the only sheers i use i bought these a long time ago when they work. So when i'm cutting the lace is what i do. I take the scissors and i cut down the center and then i follow the hairline. Now some people create their own like the hairlines that look more like theirs. I don't um. I just follow the hairline that they gave me and i'm gon na work with that today, i'm gon na have a widow speak. I think what else weeks are cute following the hairline on both sides. Until we get to the ear tabs, i'm going to cut over the ears we're going to lose some hair, but that's all right. We got plenty to go around. I can use it for bang or something later. I don't know now that the lace is cut. I can see. Oh, this is gon na look good right. I know it's gon na look good, but what's not gon na look good. Is that wig cap playing hide-and-go-seek? If you are a bald cap girly, you may not, even you can move on swiftly and professionally. I'M gon na have to i'm gon na have to do something with this wig cap, i'm gon na have to get it to my skin tone. So this is what we're gon na. Do i'm taking the wig off y'all, i don't know i'm just making up some stuff. I wonder if this will work. This is the age rewind concealer in the color, deep bronze. Oh, it has this little sponge tip. So it's easy like to apply the color okay. I think i came up with something, but can you actually see it that is so much better? Oh, it's giving more skin tone. Oh look at age! Rewind doing it! It looks more bald cap-py. You know what i'm saying: okay, so now that that's done, i can go ahead and plop on. Let me plop on the way you can see what see if it worked a little bit. Oh, it did uh. Oh, i got green tea in my hair. How long now that i'm happy that my wig cap is not wig capping and telling all of my tea right now not right! Now we can lay down the wig. I'Ve started to use like a little combo when it comes to laying down my wigs. I haven't tried this on clear lace, so i wonder how it's gon na work, but i'm hoping it's gon na work today, but what i'm going to use is these three products? Well, i may just use these two and this is like a little bonus, but i'm gon na use these two products. But what i like to use first is the gel, and then i like to top it off with the spray and it's just gon na look. Melted melted so we're gon na start with the olive oil fix it grip gel, it is ultra hold, and it's like a clear gel and that's what i love about it ooh and take the clear gel and i'm going to put it on the back of my Hand i got a new little method that i tried the other day that i, like. I have this uh facial brush and i like to take the gel off the back of my hand and just paint it onto the forehead. Instead of using my fingers and getting it all messy, i like to just paint it as y'all can see. I did not put on any makeup on my forehead or anything i put on super bold eyebrows. Like i don't know where i was going, i want to apply this wig and i want. I don't want makeup to get in the way, because makeup can start to get gunky well, i don't have no makeup on my forehead under my eyes. Y'All want to catch me sleeping like that literally sleeping because i look tired, we're just gon na apply the gel to the forehead we're gon na. Let it dry down see how easy that was. Oh, we love it. Okay, so we're gon na. Let that dry for a little bit and get tacky and then we're going to apply the wig girl. I'M nervous, i'm going to turn this on high and cool and i'm just going to blow dry this down and make sure it's tacky. So we've laid down our hairline. Now, let's get into styling this all of this hair girl. I don't even know what to do with these. Okay, we're gon na just go ahead and brush it out beautiful hair. But look i want y'all to see. That'S just one side girl now um, i don't think i'm gon na layer, this hair. I think i want this hair to stay all long. All thick. I want all of the hair okay. I want one of these. I'M gon na curl the hair using this, but i'm going to use two of these rollers, so our hairline is setting in and i'm just gon na, let that set and in the meantime, we're also going to curl the hair. So this is how i'm gon na do it. I'M gon na do two sections section in the front and a section in the back, because this hair is super duper thick pulled this hair back. So this is how much hair i have left in the back and we're gon na do two sections of curls. I think we talked about this. I had these in my amazon favorites. These are the satin rope rollers. I love the rope rollers they're fantastic. They do a great job of curling hair, i'm going to take the rope roller and place it. Oh my god place them on top of the head and usually you're supposed to put like a hair clip or something like that on the top. But i'm just use this. This is the hold and shine wrap set mousse. So i'm going to use this mousse on this hair to see if i can encourage a curl. This is supposed to be fast drying supposed to define curls and twist outs i'll. Take some, in my hand, girl. I hope this works. Oh, this is a lot uh-oh. I probably should have done this much. Oh, oh, my god, i'm doing too much, i'm already regretting it. Oh my god trying to get a little bit of moisture in the hair. So that when the hair dries, it dries in this curl when we curl this sort of hair. This is what we do. I take the hair, take a piece and i wrap it around and i take the next piece and wrap it around next piece: wrap it around the next piece, wrap it around and keep going until you get to the end of the hair. Take it wrap it. It'S kind of like doing like a french braid or something like that i'll put a little bit more mousse on the ends just to keep wrapping, and then we take a hair tie and wrap it around. Like so lady see, and we're going to do the same thing to this side as well and wrap that around pull this up this way and snap it into place like that, okay and now we're gon na do the same thing to the back side girl. We have a whole'nother. This is like two wigs in one okay, so we're gon na. Do this part in the back and do the same thing? Okay, so we have curled all of the hair girl. Now we can actually see what the hairline is giving. I need to see if this hairline gathered itself. Let'S see, let's see what it gave whet. Look, it's a look. It got a little crust hold on. Let me lower my seat, so we can take a look at this hairline. Look though, it's melted into the skin. As for the hairline, it looks good as for i don't know why, where'd that new york accident come from. Where are you from girl you're from Georgia? Okay, girl, we're gon na have to clean up this mess that we don't cause. As you can see, can you see it's giving licked edges and i need to get rid of that shiny mess? That'S on my forehead, so i'm going to use a towel. You could use a cotton round and some witch hazel to see if i can get some of that off got to be careful, because i don't want to remove the lace, and this place is clear. I can't even see it like. It really is hard to tell okay y'all. It'S been, i want to say it was a couple hours, maybe an hour. Obviously i put a full beat on. I know you can see this halo on my head, but i didn't put makeup up here because i made you baby hairs, i'm not sure, but it's giving mask it looks good without it. So i may not do it. I don't know, but in the meantime i need to take this hair down y'all be nervous to take down his hair because i don't know what she's gon na look like so we're gon na start. Am i gon na start in the back or in the front? Let'S start in the back okay, so i showed y'all what it looked like: okay, we're gon na take the hair down. I sat under the dryer for about, i don't know, maybe about 45 minutes, so i'm not sure if the curls took oh, i'm nervous, it looks like they did, though hold on hold on Uh. Oh, let's see. Oh no girl. Don'T look like it. It don't look like it took. Well, maybe a little wave there's so much hair. I don't, let's see a lil' bit, the waves are cute. Okay, let's do let's do this side. I had less hair on this side, so we probably took better on this side. It did and did oh boom, don't rip the hair out girl, oh, but that's pretty, come through curls. It did it well. This side is longer. Let me stretch out. Oh, the ends are still wet. What okay, so we're gon na do this side as well we're gon na do the front, see what happened wow. Oh! Look! How pretty this is, though, oh my god, these curls, unstoppable, unstoppable curls. All we need to do is just add some little baby hairs. Real quick, real simple: this is what it looks like without baby hairs. Real looks, good, looks great fantastic. We love it, but y'all know i'm a baby hair girl. So you can see my wig cap right here and i don't like that. So i'm just gon na add like a teeny, tiny baby hair just to cover up this wig cap. So i'm just gon na cut this baby hair. Now wear the scissors hold on i'ma cut this a little bit short. I'M going to cut it right here and i'm going to lay down my baby hairs. Y'All know i'm starting to love this gel. This fix it gel. I'M going to use this gel to lay down the baby hairs and this new baby hair brush. They got because this is a non crunchy, baby, hair brush, it hasn't been ruined by me and i'm going to take the ors fix it. Grip gel and i'm just gon na lay this hair down like that, but i'm also gon na bring some of this hair. Yes, that's all. I wanted like a little edge swoop. It'S giving edge control. You know. Okay, i'm gon na do the same thing to this side and the ear tabs just a little swoops, y'all gon na, be able to say nothing to me when it's done. This is the finished. Look when i tell you i am over the moon excited about this week like this, like y'all, can't even get well. Let me pull this up. I just ate y'all can't even get the full effect of how gorgeous this hair is. Like look like look, let me show y'all what it looks like in the back hold on. You got ta. I don't know. I see that y'all see all this hair come on. Somebody what hairline popping now i got a little wrinkle in time, but y'all know things happen. It looks gorgeous the hair is stunning. Now this is a lot of hair, you can get 150 density and if you dare to have more hair - and you want to have abs in your neck, you can get 250 density if you want to. But this hair is so much hair and if you love the full hair look, this is for you. I would choose 150 density, because this is so much hair to deal with natural. Everyday 150 density is perfect, but if you want to look glam baby, this is it like. I said earlier, the texture of this hair is really really thick strands. Very thick they're, not super soft, so they are they're heavy. They have weight to them. I don't know if these curls are going to last for a while, i hope so, but the hair is stunning before we go.
