Wig Review - "Connie" Full Lace Synthetic Wig

This is a full review of the "Connie" full lace synthetic wig by Black Pearl (Janet Collection). I realized after reading the tag that this Black Pearl label is under the Janet Collection because they list the Janet Collection website on the tag.

Hey, ladies as Priscilla, also known as pesky to Joe - and this is a review of a full lace - synthetic wig that I got from best hair worldcom. This is the weird and it's in the number one name and it's called the Connie wig, and let me show you what it looks like just now taking it out the back, but this is the wig out the pack, as you can see that the lace at The top, but maybe an inch and a quarter inch and a half lace at the top. You have the two combs here also and in the back you have this very short strip. I guess they call that the lace right here and you also have a comb in the back and you have the drawstrings - go to draw straps for extra security, and so what I'm going to do, I'm going to cut the lace back and come back and show You what it looks like I'll be right back sorry, ladies I'm back and I've cut the lace back and now I'm gon na try wrong. I'M gon na have to tighten it up just a little bit, but I'll do that later. Let me spray some of my Leicester, conditioner on here. It'S just a conditioner for weeks Falls and hair pieces. I'M sure you, okay, as I was saying before my battery, went out. I was spraying on throw my lustre conditioning. As you can see, this is a pretty long piece for me, I mean it's really long see and this particular wig is by Black Pearl. You can see that it's not a brand. I'Ve tried before I will say, there's a little bit of shedding already and what is soft, to hear a soft she's trying to figure out how I'm gon na wear this hairline. Since you know it doesn't cover up. My actual hairline just have to figure out how to cover it. I think it's a pretty weight, though very pretty longer than I would normally get, but still pretty soft, and it's shedding look at all that. So this is a new brand that I'm using I've. Never even heard of this black pearl line, but it's definitely shedding so here it is zoom in a little closer for you, so you can see the hairline. Let'S see if I cannot part it for you, so you do have some room to part it as you can see, and I think it's pretty good. Let me zoom back out. Yeah looks pretty good. It'S definitely shedding, though, but I like it overall, I'm gon na see how long it takes for it to tangle in the back, which they always do with some synthetic, wigs and yeah. I think it looks ok all right once again. This is the Connie wig in 1b, from Black Pearl is the name of the company. This is the wig and yeah. I think it looks like the picture. Okay, there you go. I hope you liked this review and I get this way from black hair worldcom and I believe it was $ 37.99. It'S how much I paid for this week. I don't like it very long for me, but I have to get used to long hair and that used to wear long hair. prisskitajoe: Thank you! This wig does shed a lot, but I haven't had a chance to wear it yet. I just wear it in my contest videos.
Veronica: Yep I ordered from besthairworld, Connie. I tried to revive her by wet setting her, nothing seems to work. So I just bought Kali from Freetress Equal, and she feels amazing. Besthairworld is going out of business apparently.
prisskitajoe: I guess if NYX made wigs and they were of good quality and a great price, then I would definitely buy them. I'm not partial to NYX for no reason, I buy their products because I'm a thrifty shopper, and when I can find makeup that is good quality and cheaper than MAC, then that's what I'm buying. And, they always have great sales, so why not buy nyx!

pursuitofadequacy: i just bought this wig (my first wig ever), and i look like a complete conehead! It also slides back behind my hairline a bit. since it's also a little uncomfortable, i am thinking that this is because my head is just too big (in addition to my long thick hair tucked underneath which i am simply too lazy to comb). other than braiding my hair, which i lack the skills to do, what do you think i can do to make this (or any) wig fit better? it looks great on you btw! long hair works!

Queen-lee Mi...: hey girl the wig looks lovely on you by the way if you turn your wig inside out and put it on a wig head and spray it with acrylic sealer it keeps it from shedding get it from a fabric store or from walmart thats what i do
prisskitajoe: Thanks. Yes, compared to LA Colors, NYX is more costly, but I haven't found any LA Colors products yet, and I usually get my NYX stuff during one of their online sales, so I usually pay about $1 each when they have those sales.

prisskitajoe: With these wigs, you have to lay your hair down as flat as possible. That is probably why it looks like a cone. Turn the wig inside out and put it on a wig head to flatten the top out. But, make sure you either braid your hair down or wrap it flat and put on a stocking cap. I hope that helps.

Veronica: I just got this in the mail, and it looks rediculous on me lol... It looks so fake, it feels so fake, and its very piecey/separated -- like the strands aren't full and together. And at the top of it the tracks are really gross looking, like it's choppy looking. And the wig is too big for my head, so there seems to be a lot of gapping in the crown. Maybe I just got a bad one because it looks great on you. But Connie is going in the trash where she belongs. Thanks for the reviews!

prisskitajoe: LOL - That is the shine from my light that is sitting directly on each side of me. The wig isn't shiney at all.
