X-Tress Lace Frontal Synthetic Wig Install Process

If you didn't already know - and i am installing the wig today - y'all gon na hate me, but i took it out the pack already and i like i just wanted to see it. I put it on my head, you know and she's she's promising she's she's gorgeous that's something to say, but before i just jump into this, you know there's the subscribe button, the like button, all that it's at the bottom of the screen, you know at your access. So if you watched my last video, you saw how i installed these cornrows, what i did to take care of my real hair. Oh this looks nice. Okay, i just have to wear my hair like this. Now i'm just playing, but if you saw my last video you saw what i did to you know put the cornrows in and whatnot. So now it's just time to install the wig, which i'm a little nervous, because i haven't done this in a whole year. My first time doing it was last year like that was my very first time, installing the wig ever so yeah, but i got more material materials this time to help me out and uh. We just gon na hope for the best, but i got this wig off for aliexpress she's, a cynthia okay um. I would probably put like a brand name in the title and link the wig in the description box, because i can't even remember the name right now, but y'all they sent me free lashes. I'M not gon na wear them, but you know i like the gesture. These lashes are cute, though i'll see you. If i was into lashes, i would definitely like try them, but i'm not really into wearing fake lashes, because y'all see how long my real eyelashes are like. I don't really see it, but this is a way i'm just going simple right now i'll get into because i bought four total um and the other three are like not simple like this, so i'm just going simple for now. Just you know this is my first one since last year, so yeah she's, just she's, just a nice straight black wig um, nothing much else to say about it, but she's gorgeous. Okay, it's like so far. All i did was like brush her and stuff and i would say, like she does shed a little bit, but it's not a lot. It'S like about the equivalent of how much a regular person's hair sheds on a day-to-day basis. It'S about the same. So i'm not complaining about that and she's like already like blown straight, like i ain't, even flat ironed, her or anything. Yet like look at this hair, look at the density, she's gorgeous okay, she's gorgeous um. I got these wig caps for from my beauty. Supply store around here, it's a large one. They have these wig caps that are like actually darker and not the you know, like the light brown kind that you always see. So i grabbed these because these are more like my skin tone, but it's light brown. So this the color, you know you see it, you see it, but it really doesn't matter because i don't do like the melting method or anything like that. I just put this over my cornrows, because i really don't even want to get into that um, the melting, the lace or like cutting the wig cap or whatever, and laying the wig cap on your scalp. I really don't want to do that, like i really want to be able to take this wig off every night if given the opportunity, so i'm just putting this far back. I think that's good just far back enough to where it's flicking my edges back with it. I really should have done my makeup after putting this wig on, but it's okay, so i'm just trying to figure out like where i want to place the hairline at making sure it's not directly on my hairline, because it is on your hairline. That'S why that's how you lose your edges, real quick, so i ain't trying to do that. But, okay, i think this is as far as i'm going to go, but y'all see how beautiful this wig is like period. This hairline is a little thick, i'm going to pluck her a little bit which i like to do with in layers like so just sectioning. This off, i'm gon na do like two layers of just plucking and the second layer. I'M not gon na do as much plucking because that's further into the hairline, so i got some tweezers right here and i'm gon na just start looking, so i'm gon na keep my glasses on. I don't know why forget me put my glasses on, but i need them. So i don't know if y'all can see the difference, but, like i feel, like this side looks just a little bit more natural. You know, then, this side, you know like the hairline, is a lot thicker on this side, where it's like um the hairline on this side, it's gradually thicker. You know what i mean. I might end up, plucking it more, but i think for now this is this. Is so good? This is good! I don't want to over pluck it because i mean the hairline is fine. I just want it to be a little bit more thinner than this just a little bit, but i'm going to move on to the other side after i like reflect this whole side or again, i'm gon na plug this a little bit more because i hate when Wigs, you know, you have the part and then it's like the hair like right about apart, is like a little bit. Lumpy like i don't know, maybe that's my cornrow right there. I don't know, but i'm plugging this side like around the part a little bit just this side, because i feel like it's been raised a little bit, so i just want both sides to be like equal level like see this side was higher than the other. Only a perfectionist but like yeah, all this hair plugged, plucked off or shedded now it's time to actually lay the wig which i'm going to flip this away for now, because i don't want just to be in the way. Luckily, i have a little eyebrow blade already because i'll be blading, my eyebrows, sometimes so, i'm just using to cut it. So just take some scissors and cut it all the way up and let's take this eyebrow blade and without cutting myself i'ma just you know, and then you have the lace cut voila. So what i'm doing is flipping the lace up. So i can just be out of the way until i decide to lay it down like flat and let me plug this blow dryer, but i'm just using got to be free spray to lay the wig down, i'm sure there's better alternatives out there. But this is what i got so this is what i'm using um. So what i'm gon na do is i'm going to spray this like right in front of my hairline now on like in front and i'm late, and i'm gon na blow dry it to dry. It quicker so my weight is laid now. Obviously it's not blended, so so i got two foundations. One of them is a little bit darker than my skin tone, which i think that's the one i'm gon na use and um, and i'm doing it because the lace like look at how light this lace is so um. I'M pretty sure i'm gon na use the darker skin tone foundation just so like it cancels out. I guess this is what i'm using as foundation. Oh yeah! That'S that's. Definitely doing its thing cause look at this. You can't even see it now. Okay, so i got my baby hairs well right now, the adult hairs, but i got them laid out so now y'all about this um. I love this wig. I only got something to lay my edges with, because last year i just used my regular seal scarf and child. One of my edges was getting stuck to the to the scarf and i was like this is unacceptable. This is unacceptable, so i finally got myself a wig band, an elastic wig band, so that'll do it. How am i supposed to put this on y'all? Am i just supposed to like tie it or something i don't know boom so now we gon na move on to the fun part. All the tv's work is done now. I just got ta um, take care of the actual wig which isn't hard, so i'm gon na actually be flat. Ironing this um, it's a wave resistant synthetic wig, so i can flat iron this and be perfectly fine. Just don't use too much teeth. Y'All i've! Actually! Never used a flat iron in my life whenever i do get my hair flat iron, somebody else does it. So it's like it's never actually been me using flat iron. So this is my first time using a flat iron by myself. You know and like i just bought this flat iron child, it's a little cheap, but i just bought this flat iron literally yesterday. Look at me check me out check me out now. Thankfully, i actually know how to use a flat iron. It'S just i've never actually like styled with the flutter, but my mom is telling me how to use that stuff so yeah. So i think it's on 250 uh can y'all see that child. I don't even i think it's on 250. I can turn it, but i'm putting yeah so it's on 250, but i'm just putting it on the lowest setting, because just because it's heat resistant doesn't mean it can take all that much heat and it really doesn't even need all that much heat. So i just got around 250 and while that's warming up, i'm gon na go ahead and try to section this off. This hair is so silky. It'S so hard to just let it stay up. Let me comb it first mikayla gosh, so the back don't need to be bone straightened on you, so i'm not too much worried about that. I'M worried about laying the front down and getting the front to be flat. Oh lord, i mean for all of you. Just fall down like that jeez, so look at this y'all, so this is the side by side comparison. Let me turn your face. I got all this hair in my face y'all, but this side just looks it looks better. I don't know how to say it, but you can tell this side is flat iron, so just going to continue. This is bone strength, love to see it. I'D love to see it. So i'm loving this wig so far. I got loving this wig so far because i am because now i got to work on these edges, which is low key hard part. I just cut them like whatever type situation, so i am using the got to be invincible, styling gel to lay them down. I'M making a mess like y'all, can't see what i'm looking like, but this is the whole mess, so we're just gon na hope for the best child, because i'm gon na have to plug it, some more so okay, so i messed up on the side a little Bit but it won't be noticeable because i mean it's a middle part, so it's not like a side part. So i'll be fine. So i'm just lay these edges with the band again and then that'll be it like. I could touch this up a little bit more but, like i literally don't care at this point like i'm tired, i'm ready to be done and i need to eat something. So this wig is just beautiful and for a cynthia like she's, definitely setting the tone for the season. So that's, basically it um i'll come back to y'all in a couple minutes um. In the meantime, i'm gon na heat up some hot pockets because child i'm hungry and then i'm coming back to y'all and show y'all the finished look, but it's already looking very promising right now. So yeah i'll come back to y'all and in me like five minutes. Okay, it's time for the review. Hopefully this doesn't come out looking trash and i actually did something of a decent job, but we're just gon na see period period because hold on oh okay. I shot my own self hold on. I think i've outdone myself, honestly, like literally a year since i've done this and it's the final look like i can't where my glasses are blessed song. I feel so content with my work like it was worth it all the time all the effort. It was worth it, i'm not gon na say it was easy. It was very much tedious, but i got it done so.
