Please forgive my shocking camera work XD This is the first time I've really used my go pro to try film a tutorial so I'm still getting used to it and stuff XD
I'm also aware that Jinx's fringe is actually parted the opposite side. I chose to invert the whole costume and part it the opposite side.
Hey guys today, I'm going to be showing you how I style my jinkx wig, the wig I'm using is from Arda. It is a Suzy and electric blue. To start, I'm going to section some of the hair that I want to make into the fringe, and I'm going to clip back the other hair that I'm not going to be using once I've got my section of hair that I'm going to be using for the Fringe, I'm then going to section off another layer around that piece. You now we're going to start shaping the fringe. I find that a hairdryer and hairspray is not going to give you the kind of gravity-defying. Look that you want the jinxes fringe. So what I do is I take sections of hair and I backcomb and tease them to get that shape. Just do it in sections until you're happy with how it looks and keep shaping it and using hairspray to set it in place. Don'T worry about it. Looking really ugly, that's what our layer of section of hair is for we're going to use that to cover that section later. To make it look neater you, the hairspray, I'm using is Trez amazed extra hold hairspray once you finally got the general shape of your fringe. You'Re then, going to take those layers that you left around that fringe and start placing them on top of the teased hair to make it look really nice and neat just use some hairspray and a comb and a hairdryer to keep it in place and keep it Nice and set you you once you've put all the hair onto the fringe. You can start going with some more hairspray and you'll come and just refining it flattening any stray pieces and even pointing the tips of the hair, join the man and there's your finished fringe. For the plats I like to spray my hair with some water just to make it a little bit more manageable and I use some hairspray just to make sure that, once it is plaited together, it'll kind of stay in place. Better you're just going to use an ordinary plat to braid all the way down to the bottom of the hair. When you're done braiding, you can tie it with a clear elastic. We are the lights doing. If you see any stray pieces that aren't going into the press so nicely, you can use some hairspray and a hairdryer and the back of your comb to tuck them in. I like to go over my plan at the end, with some more hairspray just to make sure everything stays nice and neat repeat this on the other side and then you're done and that's how I style my jinkx wig thanks for watching guys.

Katey: Did you add any wefts to the fringe area? I bought the same wig and the bangs are not as long as what you have. Do you know if they changed the wig length? The shortest layer on mine is 8 inches (20cm). Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

WeyounLP: Reminds me of that one time at Gamescom 2015 where i was about to buy that really cheap jinx wig for 30€because i was tired of seeing so many fairly bad Jinx Cosplays (No offense, but those i've seen were just.. meh).I decided not to do it (even tho my friend begged me to) after rethinking it, because the peoples always react weird to males cosplaying females. (geez, such inequality!) Great Tutorial, even tho i don't know Sh** about Hair :P
