Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today I have a show-and-tell for you guys. Today'S video is brought to you by city beauty world. So this is not the first time I've worked with city beauty world. I first heard about this company from Kyra Sean. That'S how I got put on to her channel and I really loved the braided wig that she had so I bought it, see oma, which is a box braids wig, and I have been raving about that wig for the last. Like eight months now - and I still have that week and I love it - and I bought that one with my own money and I got the opportunity to work with them and collaborate, and this is the second time I'm collaborating with them um so this week that I have on is the two two week and I'm going to insert some footage of the unboxing. They have stepped up their packaging. They, the wig, came in this nice. I don't even know what you call this. It'S kind of like it's like this dry, cleaner bag or something, but it's super nice had a hanger. The wig was um clamped to the hanger and zipped up and everything, and then they also sent me some makeup brushes with a wig. Now this particular style retails. For 197 68, I think that's the base price and then I guess, if you add other things that might go up when I purchased se Ouma. It did not take that long to get to my house. I think this might be ready to ship wig. I couldn't even stick in, but it only took about eight days to get to my house with Izzie, oh yeah, so I tried the wig on and just right out the gate. I did want to try something different, but I knew this is not exactly my style, but I didn't want to you know, challenge myself and try it anyway, because I saw miss. Muffins is my lover to a review on a braid, a tweak, that's very similar from a different company and she looked really cute in it. So I wanted to try it and um yeah. So this is the only wig I'm reviewing today, because braided wigs when you are trying to like make it look really natural. It can take a really long time, depending on the week and this week took me a long time because I had to do. I decided to do the ball cap method and the ball cap method is so annoying, especially if you're somebody who is impatient I'm pretty impatient. So I kind of did it the lazy way at first and then I had to take it off and do another one, and that worked out a lot better. It just took me a long time to perfect the ball cap look and I'm glad I did it because it looks more like scalp instead of just putting a light colored cap underneath because, if you just do that, which I did you're gon na see that band From the bald cap - and it's not gon na look good, so it took me a long time to get the ball cap down. I first sprayed it with a guy's me glued free spray, blow-dried it and then you then I'm cutting it away, and sometimes you get that like lifted part at the edge of the cap. So I took the black bottle. I'Ve got to be glued and I put that on top of it blow-dried it, and then I plot this wig with the lace still attached and I cut it away and it does look pretty good. I think it turned out pretty good now some things that I did notice about this wig. This is a full lace wig, so you have links everywhere and you'll probably to that in the unboxing, but they had the tag which is for branding. You know companies put their tag in wigs, but this is a full lace wig and it's a corner wig. So people are not gon na just be focused on the front of the week. They'Re gon na be looking behind you as well, so I saw the cap. I saw that um tag through the cap, so I had to cut that out and I don't know how it looks back here. I don't know how realistic it looks. It might not look that realistic in the back, but I'm gon na show it to you, and I think I don't think this is necessarily beginner-friendly just because if you want it to look really really natural you're gon na have to you know, do the ball cap Method and all this kind of stuff, and then you also have to worry about the back of the wig, but the sides over here are not glued down. You would have to glue that down. So this is what it looks like in the back. I have no idea how it's like their job, none at all pray to themselves. I think it's very neat. They they have a lot of nice spacing in between the braids. I didn't have to request it. It just came like that and that's a pet peeve of mine when Brenna quit companies don't leave space in between their cornrows, because it doesn't look natural when you, when they do that. So you have to braids right here and then you have to raise on this side and then you have the brakes coming down and then it tapers into a twist. So the braids look very, very neat. It took me a long time to perfect how I wanted the baby hairs to go because with cornrow weeks, sometimes the baby hairs of what gives it away as being a wig. So I did like cut away a lot of the baby hairs, but I did keep some on the sides and I think this looks pretty good now, as far as it being like flattering on me, I think it's okay. As far as the style goes, this is just a preference I feel like this is gon na look good on somebody that has a slimmer face. I feel like this isn't the most flattering on me, even though this week it looks good. I still don't feel like it's flattering on my face. I think somebody with a slimmer face. Would you know, kill this, because I think this makes my head and my face. Look big, so um I would prefer. I just don't prefer I prefer to have some volume or something right here. So that's why I typically go for you know single box braids or you know, dread kind of wigs and stuff like that um yeah. This makes my hair look really big. That'S bottom line. My hair looks huge with this week, but if you're into this - and you want to invest in a higher quality wig, you want this kind of style. You want a really nice quality weight, then I would check out city beauty world. I think this is a really nice wig. I just don't feel like this style is something I would go for it, and I don't think it's necessarily flattering on me, but I could see this being nice for somebody else, especially for the summer time, you're going on vacation, get your hair braided or if you Have like a medical condition and you can't get your hair braided, but you want the braided look. This would be a good option and it's almost unclocked able - and by that I mean some people when they wear wigs. They don't care. If people know they have a wig on which you know salute to them for not caring what people think, but I don't want anybody to know that I have a wig on, but my braid equates to look really really natural they're, not gon na, be exactly like. You know the actual thing, but they can be really close, so um yeah, this wig great quality, the brains are neat and I really like the company, but this is not as a personal thing. This is not my kind of style and my it looks huge with it so, but this could work for you. MsBigbama: Cross the braids in the back. Bring them up behind your ears. Fold the edge of the wig that's behind your ears and pin that part under the braids. Bobby the braids together at the crown of you head. The edges of the wigs will be covered.
Lady Red: Chile it look like you sat up in African hair braiding sweat shop for about 10 plus hours, with 4 people doing 4 sections of your hair at once! Thank God those days are OVER! These wigs are time savers for real.

I wholeheartedly agree with the bald cap for these braided units. You laid this one though and the back didn't look bad at all for you not having done anything to it. barbara brown: This may not be your style but you wear it well and you do an excellent job in making all the units you showcase looks so natural. The only thing with this unit is the back needed a little powder and trimming at the bottom which you could see in a mirror . You look fabulous in this wig unit.
