Are Amazon Wigs Worth The Money?

Hey everybody welcome back to my channel uh okay. So today we are going to be doing a wig. Unboxing first impression slash try on, but i did want to take just a second and say thank you all so much for the kind and supportive comments on the vlog that i uploaded a couple of weeks ago, where i was talking about burnout, and you know social Media overwhelm and all of that stuff, so i just wanted to say thank you um to those of y'all that reached out to me and sent me some kind words or words of support and encouragement um. It really meant a lot to me. Okay, so today we're going to be trying on a couple of wigs that i got from amazon and i have never bought wigs, but from amazon before i have bought from ebay in the past like one or two wigs. But the majority of my wigs have come from wigas fashion or other cosplay wig websites. So today we are going to do a first impression. Slash try on for three wigs that i got from amazon. I believe one of them is lace. Front. Two are blond, you'll see, you'll, see we'll get into it, but before i do that, i want to show you guys this really interesting, wig storage device that i have a wig storage container that i bought. It was 20 from amazon for this thing, and i've had stuff like this before in the past, but it's very like sturdy. You can see it's just like a little container that you would normally see with those like square cubby systems, but it comes with a pretty sturdy lid that has like a slight like not a super comfy, but like kind of a cushion on the top. So i'm actually keeping this under my desk and using it as a foot prop, but it also is my wig storage right now. So if i continue to get more wigs i'll just buy like a second one of these and it's the perfect size to fit my, i mean after giving a wigs away to my friend's daughter recently, i only have about maybe 10 or 12 wigs left. So these two wigs here, i'm gon na upload, a video separately on these - are lace front, wigs that i got from a uk retailer, but today we're just gon na focus on the couple of wigs that i got from amazon. So the first one we'll look at is this brand called joe dear joe dear, not sure exactly how to say it. But this is a lace, front, 30 inch, wavy heat resistant, synthetic wig, 130 density and i got an ombre black to honey blonde and this was 37. So this was the most expensive one that i bought, but i do think that the quality of it speaks for that i mean first of all like i can just like run my fingers through this and there aren't any tangles like that's very and it's super duper. Soft super super silky feeling and it is a lace front uh, but it's like a it's like a cheaper. You know a quote-unquote cheaper lace front, but we should be able to flip it into like a side part instead of just a middle part. So i'm gon na keep the lace on it, while i'm trying it on for now and then i'll probably add some updates of pictures when i get it trimmed to my instagram. Like when it's all dressed up and beautiful, this one also comes with little clippies here and one at the base of the wig down here. So there's three little metal combs inside to keep the wig snug and in place. Oh snip. Oh, i don't know it's a little dark for me. Oh i don't know, though this is kind of doing something to me. Oh, this is pretty 30 inch and it it's a full 30 inches. So i think the little tips of this reach much farther. It'S a little dark for me at the roots. Am i wrong and you can see, i definitely need to pluck the part um. It needs to be plucked right there. I need to take some concealer and put some concealer down the part. Oh, but that feels pretty good and let's try to just adjust that part over here, it's kind of hard to tell, but because it's i haven't like messed with it at all, but like if i parted it. That way, and i cut the baby hairs just right. It'S pretty interesting. Looking i do like the color. The roots are a little a little. Maybe i'm not used to seeing myself with super dark hair, but the roots are a little bit darker. Then the roots are a little darker, it's kind of hard to do a cute moon bun, because the roots are so long. The roots are a little long and they're, not they look more like roots than an ombre they're, not quite like a soft gradient. It'S like a hard line. It looks good on this. First layer like it looks like it's. It'S different levels and stuff on the top layer and the top layer is a little shorter, so there it this wig is layered. This is a long ass wig, though wow. This is how long i want my hair to actually be, and i do like the cut of it. I do like these layers. The layers are really nice. This is pretty cute. I have not cut the net or um cut that wig or trimmed any bangs or anything. Yet i actually kind of like this one out here. I didn't think i was going to like it, but i like that it doesn't look like black at the roots i've. I really do like this. It looks kind of cool like that, but then over here i just got to mess with the the hairs that frame my face. I got ta give this a little bit of a haircut, so the next one came in this like i do really like this bag. It says perfect wigs for perfect. You, i think, is what that's supposed to say there, but it's a pretty cute little bag, and this is a evelyn wigs with bangs orange wavy. Wig synthetic fiber 26 inch non lace, front wig, so this one is not lace front and it does have fringe. It has bangs it's possible. I might need to cut these bangs, so this one is just like a nice. I don't really have like any reds, but this is like a very natural orangey, like orangey kind of red. It'S not like a fire station red. It'S not like a crazy red, it's kind of curly. All of my all, the wigs that i got are in this kind of like longer with the wavy style. This one is very, you can't really see the hairs that are flying away, but there's a lot of static, like you can kind of see that hair right there dry shampoo will probably help that, so i did actually buy a bottle of dry shampoo for that purpose. So they're kind of like longer bangs, you know it's almost like a mary jane from spiderman and what's cool about this wig included a set of false lashes and they're, not like you know, amazing, mink eyelashes. They actually look kind of a typical, like halloween, like halloween time set of lashes, but that's a pretty that's a pretty cute little, a pretty cute little thing to have included with the wig purchase. This one actually comes with little comb at the front of the hair and at the back we also have a small little rectangle at the center here of an artificial scalp. So it's not quite a lace front, but you could just slightly alter the part about a half an inch to either this either side. The wig itself is a very tight fit and i have a pretty small head feels like it's going to stay very secure with where it needs to be. But if you have a bigger head honestly - and i don't even mean that, like as a big head, i mean like if you like, if your head is like, if you historically have a hard time getting hats to fit, and things like that, this one might be A bit of a a squeeze and a headache inducer, but this actually fits my tiny little pea brain head very snugly and nicely. Oh, i don't have my glasses on, but i'm really kind of digging this. We definitely have a tiny bit of shedding going on um, but almost every single wig does this. When i get it, oh my gosh wow, i actually am really liking this, it's kind of cute, with like a messy fringe like over the over the eyes. I will say that the way that the bangs are laying right there is creating a strange shadow. Oh i kind of like this wig. It does not seem too shiny. It actually looks just the right amount of shiny, like even on camera like it, it looks like naturally, oh and the curls, it's very thick feeling right here. This is a pretty nice wig for 20 bucks. Honestly, i might want to cut the bangs into a micro bang. Look because i don't like bangs, constantly tickling my eyeballs. It gets on my nerves, bruh, i'm digging this, and let me just see what honestly this is a pretty nice wig for twenty dollars. Little moon, bun situation looks like on this. You know me and my moon buns. Oh my god, this is really cute and it's very like natural, not just in the hair, looks real. Oh, i kind of want to wear this out. So, let's see, if, like all the people that know me around town, will just think that i like dye, like did my hair. Oh that'd, be funny it's natural, not just in the texture of the hair, oh and it feels like it feels good. It'S very springy. I don't know this is, i might kind of want to get the other colors that come in this wig, because this is a pretty nice wig. The the part is a little awkward right here, but it's not too. It'S not that bad. I'M impressed i kind of got this one as like a you know: let's just grab this red one too um because, like i said i don't have any red colored wigs in my collection right now. So i liked this one a lot when i was unboxing it, but i don't think this color really works for me. I don't know if i'm too pale for it or what maybe i have got red tones under my skin and that's just not working with it. For me, um, but the quality of the wig is still really good and the last one that we have is go women, strawberry, blonde, ombre, 30 inch, heat resistant, synthetic wig, and this one is also a 30 inch. It'S very similar to the first one. I showed you but they're they're, slightly different, the first one i showed you had dark brown roots and it faded to like a honey blonde, and this is light brown roots with a fringe that fades to like a white blonde at the bottom. These two here kind of capture, like my natural brownie kind of hair, color a little bit more synthetic hair tangles pretty easily. But this is very nice to run my hands through right now. It feels pretty thick and i'll make sure to get some close-up, video shots of the hairline um and how that looks, because that's a little that looks like a wig right now. But if i go in and pluck this a bit uh, we might be able to get a little bit more of a natural look. Okay, um. I mean it's shiny looking in this lighting, but if i wanted to do like a side part bang we're. Definitely i'm definitely gon na have to cut the bangs a little bit for sure. I think i was just um a little culture shocked, seeing myself with blonde hair, like this, after being so pink for so long, because this is uh pretty cute, the bangs actually look kind of like if you side swipe them like this, you might not necessarily need To cut them, it's kind of cute, it's just that it covers up my my brows, which i normally like my brows to show for my look. Can we change the part on the actual wig and have it look? Okay, actually yeah most wigs. Don'T normally have that, but it's got like kind of a an artificial scalp just in that center spot, so we could do a side part if we wanted to okay, so first impressions so far it did get a little tangled in putting it on. I think you can see, but it's not too too bad, and if you took good care of this for 21, this is a pretty decent, decent feeling decent. Looking, it's really shiny. I think you can see the shine on this from my uh lights, but overall this is cute. This is definitely like the type of wig where you have to be careful on how you style it, because it will reveal pretty quickly that you are wearing a wig. If you part it in the wrong way, but let me just try and do like a little yeah like with a little bun updo like that. Oh my god, this wig is really cute. I love the ombre. I love the white tipped hair with this like honey blonde. It calls it strawberry, blonde and i'll try and get like a video shot of the up close, but there are definitely some like reddish streaks through this. I definitely think that i will trim the bangs to be um this length like right at the brow. I'M digging this. I like the colors. It'S like wow blonde time. Okay, this one i did cut last night um, i trimmed the bangs a little bit and i cut this hair to frame my face a little bit more. It'S not like the best haircut, but i definitely like thinned the wig out quite a bit in the front. I think it kind of lays pretty nice kind of looks like how i would cut my hair. So all in all my question when i started this, video was: are amazon, wigs worth it, because i've only really bought. Like i said from ebay and cosplay wig retailers, i definitely did some shopping around. I only bought stuff that had four stars or higher with several thousand reviews. I am very impressed with the quality. I will definitely be buying some more amazon. Wigs. Absolutely i'm pretty pleased with these. They don't break the bank um so grabbing yourself, a 20 wig every you know every so often whenever you have 20 to 30 bucks. I do think that i will continue buying some amazon wigs because little pretty good experience, they're looking pretty cute they're gon na change up my looks and i can be a little more adventurous and have a little more fun with getting dressed up and stuff like that. So um yeah, let me know if you guys, would like to see some more wig reviews in the future. I have some really fancy lace fronts from that uk wig retailer, which name of the name is escaping me right now that i can definitely upload if y'all would like to see those are very beautiful lace, fronts and um yeah.
