Wowafrican Deep Wave Brazilian Virgin Hair Wig | Review + Install

Hey everybody welcome back to my channel uh if you're, not a subscriber by now, you need to become one. So please please, please just go ahead and hit the subscribe button. I have a lot of fun things planned for my channel and i would appreciate the support. Um and excitedness for it wait if excitedness is even a word, i'm not gon na get into it. Yes, i'm a college graduate, but my vocabulary, sometimes okay, so um. This video is actually a long overdue video uh. It is a um. Can you guys guess what video wait it's in the title? Yeah, it's a wig, i'm wearing a wig um. This wig was purchased from wow african. I um purchased this back in, like i want to say, february or march, it was a while ago and um i wore it for like a month and then i kind of like threw it in the corner and forgot about it. But that's not because the wig is not good, it's just because i i do that. I flip flop, like i'm into one thing, women and then i'm not the next, so yeah, that's what happens. I first saw this wig though, and first got excited about this wig when i saw it on one of my favorite youtuber um alyssa forever. She had this wig on in her instagram pictures, and i was like man her her hair is looking pretty nice, like that looks that her hair looks really nice, and then i saw her do a youtube video on it and i was like yeah. I need to buy it, i got ta, get it um. The only thing is, though, i've had such a bad experience with purchasing wigs. I purchased the one wig, i'm not gon na, say the company i got it from, but i purchased one wig and i was obsessed with like blonde hair and i didn't want to do blonde on my natural hair. So i opted to go with the blonde in a way and it just was terrible. I hated it, it didn't look right on me and it could have been because i didn't know how to put it on, but it was really thin. I didn't like it so i wanted to take it back, send it back. I almost did not get my money for it because they were really trying to argue with me about this. Wig like they did not want to give me my money back, but i argue the out of it because i feel like if i didn't use the wig, i didn't cut the lace. I didn't damage it in any way. Then you should just take your money back and or send me my money back and keep it pushing like, but anyways. I did get the money back for that one. Then i tried one from aliexpress and it was also terrible like they said it was human hair. It was not, i put it to wash it, i had it like warm water, not even hot water. It was warm and the hair started like frizzing in some places. So i one of my um, my boyfriend's sister who's, a hair stylist said that it was probably a synthetic like mix and it was yeah. So i sent that one back for my money back as well. So then, with this one i was like do i want to do away again and um, but i went for it because i just was that excited about this way. It looks so good on alyssa and i was just like yeah. I need to get it so i went and used my own money purchased it from my african here's, the box that it came in. I really don't have like the specs on it anymore, except for what's on this little baggie that it came in um, it is the item number flw, 15 hair color natural length is 20 inches. The cap size is a medium large um. I have a big head guys, so i just and then on top of that i have a ton of hair that was going to be under this cap, so i went with the medium large and i'm glad i did because i don't know i feel like it's. It'S good to have extra room, it's not good when you wanted to lay flatter, but um. I really don't have a problem with that because, like i said, i have a big head um. This was 20 inches, but this is not 20 inches anymore me and my sister try to cut layers in it and we got scissor happy with it. So that is why it's a lot shorter, but i like it better this length and i purposely got it long to do this with it, because i wanted to like just kind of play with it and make it look. You know how i want it to look. I feel like this is really realistic, looking as a realistic length, because it's almost the same length as my real hair, and it has like the same density and volume pretty much as my real hair as well. So i wanted something that was going to look really natural and not too drastic from my real hair. People did not know that i had a wig on my head, like other than people that do wear weaves and wigs. They knew, but i mean i know when people are wearing leaves and wigs too um the people that don't know don't know wigs, don't know, weaves thought i just dyed my hair dark, so i went with that. The only thing i will say that i regret is the fact that i didn't get a full lace unit. I ended up getting a lace frontal unit, so just this part is lace and i have tracks in the back and when i do styles with this wig like juan curls or whatever, i get really self-conscious that you're going to be able to see my my tracks And um that i kind of regret, because this is a really nice nice hair. I'Ve had this, probably since february march - here it is, may uh, actually just it's just now turning june, so this is june, and i've had this hair for and it's still good, like you guys, can see. I can put my fingers through it. I mean there's a little tangles here and there, but nothing like too crazy um shedding it does shed. I will not lie, but it sheds - and it's still this thick, so i think that's i can deal with shedding if it remains like big and full, because i like big hair uh, while african does offer a um wig repair, so i probably will send it in To them to get some more tracks sewn into it and um some more hair up top, because i feel like it's kind of thin, where the lace is um so yeah other than that. I feel like this is a really natural. Looking hair i'm going to turn around, so you guys can see what the back looks like. Hopefully there aren't any tracks hanging out because if their arm would be super embarrassed, but um yeah, this is what the back of it looks like it's still pretty long, even though it's not um 20 inches anymore. It comes down to like the middle of my back. If you guys can see, i hope you can yeah, it does come down pretty long. It'S a pretty natural length, nothing too crazy. So this is how i applied it. Usually um, when i wear it, i would put twists in my hair all over my head um, but since my hair is pretty much already straight, i just for the sake of this video decided to throw it all underneath the um wig cap. So i just put in a little ponytail and then to keep my hair like to kind of lay flat. I just made a big like chunky twist um with the ponytail, the hair that was in the ponytail, and i just tucked it into the wig cap. So with wigs to make them look more realistic, it's always key to have like some of your um hair out in the front. So i place the wig cap behind my hairline, and here i am just kind of trying to smooth down my baby hairs and just give it more of a realistic look now. This is me just showing you guys. The cap construction, it was um, came with three combs and a drawstring in the back, and then i sewed in some combs in the front just so um. The lace would lay down more flat because i was using bobby pins, but i found that just using wig combs in the front helped it out so much better and yeah. This is just me applying it.
