Hi everybody its Rachel here with cardio wigs right now, I'm gon na show you how to cut the lace on a full lace wig. This is a fully silk top, and this is what your wig would look like when you receive it will have a little extra lace around the whole perimeter of the wig and right now, I'm going to show you how to cut the lace. It'S really not something to be scared of all you have to do is make sure on a silk top. You have to make sure that you do not cut pass the silk, so I'm gon na go I'm going to show you. This is what it looks like from the outside. This is what it looks like from the inside, so you cannot cut into this. You can't cut into the front lace front section if you want to cut that back a little farther, so we're gon na start right now and the way I cut mine is the way that I'm gon na show you how to cut yours, and I just go Right before where the hair starts, sometimes I cut the ear area back a little farther, which you can totally do no problem, so you go ahead. Just let me know if I made a bad angle or something okay and start cutting I'm using straight scissors, but you can also use scissors that are serrated pinking shears. Now you just want to go up and you get right before the hair starts. Truth be told when I cut lace on my wigs. I cut this ear area out and I use my own hair in that section. But if you don't have hair, that's not an option. So I'm showing you how to just cut right along the hairline and as far as using pinking shears with straight scissors, I would say: that's a personal choice and you just have to just you know: take it slow make sure you have all the hairs out of The way, so you don't chop off a big chunk of hair as long as you keep your shears right up against the UM, the lace that shouldn't be an issue now you'll notice here, there's a seam. You just cut right through that it'll be fine. When you have a full lace, wig or at least full lace, wig the whole thing is hand tied. So even if you cut into where some of the hair is it's fine, and I'm gon na show you that on this weight, real quick. So if you, what I do, I do this, and I just cut that your tabs off now, if you're gon na cut your wig and you are gon na cut into some hair, even if you cut into a tiny bit, you're gon na have shedding for a Little while until all those little hairs come free, so don't freak out that your hair is losing what your wig is losing hair if you've cut bangs or if you've cut a section of the lace where there's hair attached you're gon na get a little bit of Shedding until that stops now come back out and show you the outside what I'm doing here just right up against right next to the hairline there. Now I left a little extra in the front, so I'm going to now take take my time here and just go right up to that and get that off. Some people like to really take their time and they carve out in little notches and make a really nice broken up lace, front hairline, which looks awesome. So that's also an option. But I'm not going to show you that today, that's it and now she's ready to wear and I'll show you her okay. So I hope this helps. That'S really all there is to it. It'S really personal preference, where you like to cut your rear lace, and I hope this is informative and helpful thanks. Everybody
