Lace Wig Hair Transformation Start To Finish | Shalom Blac

Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel today. So today I have a new video for you guys. This wait, video and I'm super excited about this week, video because it brings back so much memory from high school. This was like my go-to hairstyle. If you go back to my first video on YouTube, you will see my actual hairstyle is very similar to this. I used to love it um, so today's width, we are going to be using this week by my first wig and I love my first wig because it's a very friendly beginner wig company. So, basically, if you're new into the wig trying out wigs and stuff like that, this would be great because they basically include everything: elastic band, combs, bobby pin rat tail comb and also instruction on how to slay your wigs, how to lay your edges and yeah. So I really love that about this company. So today I got my wig, oh and I also get a wig cap, and then you also get details on your wig. So, as you guys can see, my wig is 14 inches natural hair color and the lace um wig I mean the lace. Color is light brown and my lace um. My cap is always petite or small, I believe which is like a 21 circumferences but anyway. So, looking at my hair, as you guys can see, is full lace wig. I love full lace wig because it just kind of give me the versatility of putting it up and I'm putting it right anywhere. I wanted so yeah. I got it last week and this lace wig comes with three combs two on the side, one on the back and as you guys can see, the front is actually pre plugged. But if you do like you can go back in and pre plugged it a bit more, which I did what I didn't showed on this video, because I have so many videos on my channel that I show you guys how to plug your wig. So I'm not doing it today, but basically today, I'm going to be showing you guys how I dyed this hair color. So the first thing you're going to need is your bleaching powder. I finally got this blue one before I just used to use the white one, but I got this blue one because I heard that it actually helps take out like the brassiness of the color. It doesn't make it too brassy um, so I'm gon na just go ahead and put some in my bow at I'm going to be using the 30 volume developer. I'M sorry the 20 volume developer today, because I didn't want anything to be too strong for that wig on and I didn't want it to be crazy light. So that is what I'm mixing on my boat now and then I'm just gon na go ahead and start applying it on my hair, and so I decided to section this wig into four because it just makes it hella easy to apply this color on the hair. So I'm basically applying it on the pony, the pony tails of this wig all over and I'm gon na. Let that sit for about 30 minutes and then I'm gon na go in and what do you call this shampoo and dip condition? So I basically um I need to stop saying um, because that is so. That is sounding very unprofessional but yeah. Why am i doing it? Oh, my god. I can't help myself so um. Oh, I need to stop it. I'M basically applying the bleach all over the hair, like I said, leave it sit for 30 minutes and then I'm gon na shampoo and condition. So after I conditioned the hair, this is the color it came out. I did let it air dry outside. I didn't put any heat on this hair. This is what it looks like. This is the texture of the hair. After being bleach, I believe it still holds its texture and the curls are still very well defined. So that is really great, but I wasn't so happy with this color. I thought it's more of a one dimension and honestly for me. I, like my hair color, to have all of this different dimension going on, because I feel like that. Just look cute and the complements my skin tone. So I'm just gon na go back into that bleaching that we mix and I'm just gon na go ahead and take some random here. At the end, I'm gon na put some bleach just a ton of light in that, and then I'm gon na pick some random on hair all over the wig to just kind of brighten it, and that is basically what I'm doing so. I I also let this process sit for 10 minutes. I didn't let it sit for so long because I didn't want it to mess up the texture of the hair so much because I'm not bleaching all of the hair so yeah. Basically, I let that air dry too, and now we got our wig and we're gon na get it on. I just thought I would show you guys this part. I didn't want to just come on and just show you guys, like. Oh I put on my wig but anyway so right now, I'm just cutting off the lace and I'm not really cutting it in a particular way. I'M just kind of cutting it close to the hairline, but not so close. I do also like leave a little bit of a lace on the wig just so when I glue it down um, I don't know, I just feel like it kind of makes. You look better and I look a little bit more natural. So that is what we did so now. I am ready to get going and I'm going to be using a new glue, your girl, that's a new clue. If you follow me on snapchat, then your hip to this glue cuz, I was renting about it. I'M gon na do a video of the wig, a more detailed video of the I mean the glue for you guys, but I am freaking obsessed with this glue. I feel like it just kind of melts your lace wig, like the part of your lace, just really melt into your scalp when you use this glue and this stays on guys. Oh, my god, I literally because I don't like sleeping with my wig, so I have to like rip this off. But when I used to use my gut to be glue, I can just take it off easily, but this takes on oh, my god, but anyway. So after I glue this down, I'm gon na go ahead and take my toothbrush, of course, not the one that I use on my teeth and just kind of pull out some hair. Some of that, like softer hair and I'm gon na cut it short sort of play as my baby here and then I'm gon na go ahead and take my famous got to be glue. The one in the black gel and I'm just gon na apply it right on those on those hair that I just cut and then I'm gon na like create my baby here with my brushes. I do have a video on how I do my baby hair, but if you guys do want to see a updated video, please let me know down in the description, but I mean in the comments down below it did kind of change, but it's not much of A different, but I do wish you guys - can see this a little better. This baby here is because, just in case my hair decide to blow back. You won't really noticed the lace, even though the lace isn't done noticeably. I don't know I'm just like that. So to define my curls, I'm going to be using this curl definer that I got for vanity box. They send it to me when they send me their hair, but I never used it. This is my first time using it ever and I'm like ill. I think I was supposed to shake it, but anyway, so I'm applying that all over the hair, especially on the ends of this hair, just to get back that definition on this hair and the curls to be popping okay and guys, I actually didn't cut the hair At this point, this hair actually kind of came with the bangs, but I just like to just kind of bring back bring some hair forward to get this bang effect. And then I'm just gon na kind of go in to kind of define the hair and kind of cut some layers, because that just kind of makes it look every more bigger. Because I do like it big so you either do it big or go home um. So I'm just cutting out I'm cutting those edges that are a little too long and just shaping the hair. So I'm gon na go ahead and take my comb that came with this wig and right now, I'm just kind of picking my hair. I don't know what this part is called natural people know what they call it, but I watched natural hair videos and I see how they do it, so this kind of makes the hair bigger and bigger. So the more you do it, the bigger it gets, and so I'm just going inside the roots and just kind of picking it. I'M not actually brushing the hair all the way through just the roots and it just kind of gets a bigger and bigger. Now I believe I could have used a diffuser to make it bigger too, but I don't know I didn't feel like putting any of the heat. I don't know. Okay, I just didn't do it so basically, this is how the hair ended up looking. I am freakin obsessed with this. I went out with this here and I've gotten, so many compliments like people in the car would like maintain my hair, and I was just like. Oh thank you.
