So of course i like to jump right into the video and today's video is no different. I'M gon na be showing you a protective style. So of course i already have my hair like pre-straightened, trimmed all that good stuff. But if i do there's an update. Okay, if you guys are new here, i did a big chop about a year and a half ago super big shop and my hair has grown out beautifully. So i'm really excited to get into this video because it's a bob now obviously y'all are gon na be like girl. Why are you gon na put a wig on top of all this beautiful hair? I know i understand, but i believe in protective styling, so i wanted to try something new. This bob has a little bit of color in it. So for today's video, i'm teaming up with hairv y'all know what top of five hair companies um probably all time. Okay, just the construction, all that good stuff. This is their packaging. Of course, there's like usually a ribbon, that's tied, but i need to make sure that i got the right wig. So this is a little bit of color. It'S gon na be something new and fresh um every now and then i'll test out not doing a voiceover and actually kind of like a little unboxing, where i'm putting on the wig for the first time. So this is what's happening today. I want to show you guys just how easy these installs can get sorry for the paper situation, but i really want to show you i know. Sometimes it's like crazy, but how listen continue to watch these videos and after a while you'll start to just catch on? So, of course the hair is going to come in like these cute little satin bags. They have a beautiful box beautiful packaging. All that, but none of that's going to matter what's going to matter is this wig okay? So there is a little uh additional bag here, a little small satin bag that has some goodies like an edge brush, uh and some comb. So that's really good cute. All that and then the actual wig itself is already pre-colored. So y'all can see the little highlighted action we got going on and then the hair is already tweezed out. The inside of this unit already has the silk like. I guess i don't want to call it silk base because that's a totally different type of wig, but there is a cap on the inside that is supposed to mimic the ball cap method. So i really really like reviewing wigs like this, because it makes it even more simple. Y'All know all that i'm literally gon na do is pull my hair back. I'M gon na probably try to get this as tight as possible. Um, usually a ponytail would give like a little bit of bulkiness, but the good thing is: this is a bob. So as long as your hair is pulled as close to the nape of your neck as possible, and you flip that bad boy up honestly, it's not going to matter because the bob has the perfect bump right at the nape of your neck. And, of course, you already don't have a bump there girl bumpy lump okay, so i'm gon na go ahead and just brush my hair back now. I still like to make sure that i've already set my hair in a middle part. When i do my wigs or side part, whichever part i'm going to be doing - and it just makes things a whole lot easier - you guys my hair has grown so much look at the pony all right and then i'm going to take a pretty sturdy tie and When i say the nape, i mean the bottom: okay, all right, oh all, right now, then i'm not even gon na take the time to braid this, i'm literally gon na flip it up as flat against my head as possible to the point where it's like. Oh, you don't even have a ponytail there y'all, don't mind my kitchen. There we go now me being me. I still want to go ahead and honestly, i would want to put on a ball cap, but i'm not going to do it. I'M just going to use a couple, bubby bobby pins, bobby pins to actually pin this down, and i started with like the tip of the ponytail, so i can make sure it's super flat. Alright, so i only needed two voila. We have our hair down and you see what i'm talking about about this small little bump, but it's nothing too crazy to wear it's like lumpy bumpity yeah. Let me show you so on the inside of the cap. Of course, it is adjustable. There'S an adjustable band. There'S also that new material there, which sometimes i actually will cut it off it just depends on the wig, because i've seen other companies attempt to use that same method, uh cap and not actually have it pushed back enough. So then, it's kind of like you're able to see through it and if that hd is super hd baby, that's not a good look if you end up doing that to this wig like meaning literally removing just this fabric, you're going to want to be really really Careful, if you need a video on how to remove these little fabrics from the actual wigs i'll, do a video just comment below. Let me know but yeah in this case i'm gon na leave it on i've already tightened the wig and i'm just gon na flip. It, oh y'all. I thought this was gon na be uh. I thought this is gon na, be a middle part. Okay, so then, even better, even better, because this silk cap is gon na - have to come in handy ain't, no choice. Now because i thought this was the middle part, what was i thinking all right, not to mention this? I never wear my parts on this side. This is giving very much new cast news, a caster broadcaster, but you guys can see right away just putting this baby on it fits super snug. Literally almost nothing has to be done outside of actually setting the style um. So obviously i can do this straight and really really flatten the inside of the wig here, which is what i believe i'm gon na do and then i'm actually just gon na add a couple like messy curls to it, because i'm really like it's not given that We need to do like a heavy. You see it's given very much. Let'S put some loose waves in this and be good honestly, i'm gon na install this gluelessly, i'm not even gon na use any um. I don't think i'm gon na use any gels because the parts are already set so yeah. Let me go ahead and just heat up my hot comb and then we're going to straighten this baby out. The company did a really good job of pre-styling the unit. I'M sure that it was curled when it was probably mailed to me, but i'm going to go ahead and just clean everything up. I do want to kind of turn this part a little bit just because i think that it helps to kind of get rid of some of the bulkiness evenly, distribute it and then also it just looks a little bit more natural to me, um so yeah, i'm Gon na go ahead and move all of this out the way then i'm gon na go ahead and quickly just heat up my eap heat flat iron. So, while that's getting situated, i'm actually going to take some of my camera fly iron spray just to go over the areas that i am going to need to hit with like the hot comb just so that we can really make sure that everything is set. I'M not going to be doing baby hair it's. This is not giving baby hair. This is giving i'm a grown. Okay, listen um! So we're just going to do some cute little messy waves and i love the color. So now i'm just going to go ahead and start adding the curls and you can go in either direction. It really doesn't matter. The goal is volume and texture and the curl hit like look at the curls, the hair curls like a dream, so the bottom area is a little tough to grab. So it's okay. If you kind of leave that loose, you can probably do like a small bump. Nothing too crazy, but you don't want those ends to be completely straight. Just like a small little bump over would do just fine just for that bottom row see how quick that was. Okay, so now that we got everything pretty much curled and damn their style y'all. Okay, the last two things to do is to pretty much smooth out this top to kind of get that shape and texture going and then to trim off the lace and we're done so. I like to take my time now: y'all disregard my eyelashes. Okay, i got a lash appointment tomorrow and i'm trying my best not to pull these out. You know clearly i sleep on this side, because these lashes are a lot thinner than this side all right. So i want to go ahead and just hit it with the hot comb right at the root and then we're going to go ahead and curl either backward or forward. So i want to do most of these kind of forward until i kind of get to the the nitty-gritty, but for now and look at that parting space on this one, i'm gon na do backward and then for this last piece we're just gon na go ahead And hit it with the hot comb, i'm going to go ahead and just hit this with a little pump it up right along the edges, just because this kind of really helps show like what that hairline work looks like and we're gon na need that, since we Are not doing any of the baby hair so just a little bit all right, and once you got that on go ahead and take you a nice little elastic band, you can get these on like amazon. Usually the company will actually give you one, but all right. So now we're gon na go ahead and pretty much perfect. Everything keep in mind. Y'All could have been put the band on, but i just realized i'm like do. I really want to do completely glueless? No okay. So i'm going to go ahead and hit this one more time, i'm actually going to spray directly here and then i'm going to take the back of the hot comb to smooth it down. So all right! So now i'm just going to pop this off. I'M just going to cut off the lace. Okay, so y'all, i'm actually gon na. Take the hot comb and kind of like get this side to lay down, because i felt like it was looking a little too wiggy just being like super full on this side. Of my hair - and i'm also just not used to this out of a part, but i think it looks really really cute, definitely giving like spring summer vibes, i think, we're close to the summer. Definitely given summer vibes and any like random pieces, you see you can kind of just play with it just to keep that like wavy look going so cute super cute. This reminds me of like the bob's, my mom used to wear like low-key ma. If you want the wig, let me know cuz. This is definitely giving you all right babe.
