Hey beauty, queens welcome back to my channel. This video is actually a part two from our beauty class, two and beauty class. Two. I showed you guys how to color your full lace, wigs without staining the lace. So this is the actual install of the lace that we used in that video that well, that i used in that video to show you guys how to not stain your lace. Thank you, simone for this balm braid down um. We are going to be doing a ponytail, so everything is up and everything is out the way. Right now i am using the freeze spray to get all of her baby hairs. Out of that, you know lay naturally on her hairline up and away because we're going to be doing the cap method. So here i am now putting on her cap after we get the cap on and everything is in place. I'M going to take our got to be gel in the yellow bottle and i'm going to go around the whole perimeter, like i said, we're doing a full lace install. So that means the front of her hairline and the back of her hairline, including around her ears, needs to be glued down. So i have to make sure that the cap is secure all the way around her head. Cutting the ears out really helps your cap foundation. It makes it a lot easier for the cap to stick when you apply whatever product you're using to stick it down. I didn't always cut the ears out. I came across someone who was doing it and i tried it one day and i was like oh why i've been making my life so hard. I never thought to do it, but when i finally did i've been doing it ever since um, but here i go. I'M putting on the yellow got to be gel um on her hairline. This doesn't. This does not dry as for fast as i got to be free spray, but, like i said, i need this to be secure, so i rather use the gel instead of the freeze spray, and i know the gel is going to hold it better to do now. I'M taking my blow dryer and i'm going to dry the guy to be gel um. It does take a longer than the guys to be free spray. So if you don't use like a hotter temperature to dry it, it will take longer, do not use cold use either medium, which is what i'm using um. If your client can take it, then i guess you can use hot, but i would never use hot on any of my clients, because my dryer gets extremely hot, so use a medium, temp and dry all around the perimeter. Ah, so do so, as you can see where i placed the gel at you can see how it outlines her hairline. That'S where i'm going to be applying my lace. Once i cut the cap off, that's going to be my guide to apply the lace, but i'm pretty sure you guys are familiar with that. Now, i'm going to just go ahead and i'm cutting off the excess cap foreign so make sure you clean as you go. So you don't have any buildup around the perimeter, because you do need that area to be very clean so that your adhesive can stick properly. I'M going in with my concealer in the front and the back, because both places matter i'm going in with the concealer, so that i can do my ball cap method. As you can see it's starting to look like she has no hair at all um. This is always really funny to me, like you know how you see movies and they give the people forehead, but you can always tell that the person got here underneath and it always looks funny um yeah, that was a sidebar. But yes, i'm going in with my concealer in the front and the back. This is our full lace. Wig, like i said you guys, we color this wig in our beauty class too, if you're interested in watching that you can um, so i'm gon na size, everything and customize everything right now, i'm going to cut her ears out so that we can fit the wig To her head, the hair in this video is from my hair collection, beauty links i do provide here. If you guys are interested, all you have to do is either dm to book or you can click the link in my bio. It'S a book button and you can look at all the services provided as well as, if it's anything that you want to purchase. If your hair comes past, your client's hairline make sure you move the hair out the way before you cut it, because you do not want it to have those little black lines so make sure you move the hair before you cut it or tweeze the hair. Before you cut it, so we already put the concealer on our cat. We need to also put the concealer on our lace. I use concealer. I don't use um lace, tint, the lace tints that i have tried have not worked out for me. I'M perfectly fine with using concealer my wigs still stick down. I don't have any issues with that um but, like i said i just haven't found one that i really like the ones that i have tried have been a complete bust for me and i still want to having to use concealer anyway. So concealer is my go-to. So i'm putting it on the front and the back i place it on my hairline to make sure everything was right or if i needed to add a little bit more and after we do that, we're going to start to apply our adhesive spray, your lace without To be free spray after you apply your concealer, that will also help with laying your lace down and making sure there's a barrier between the concealer and the knots. So i'm going to have to customize the hairline, because her temples, her hairline, comes out further than the top of her hairline and we don't want to leave it like that. Um, because it's not going to look appealing so i'm going to pluck. Will you see me making this part at everything that is that looks like it would be a bang i'm going to pluck all of that out, because i do not want to have any issues when i have to cut the lace. I also did plug some of the hairline as well on both sides, so i am using the isha wig bond again for this video because she likes this glue in particular, so i'm cleaning her hairline with the primer, which is a skin protectant. It creates a barrier between the lace and the skin, and then i'm gon na go and i'm gon na do layer by layer. I'M going to do three layers. You have to wait for the layers to dry clear, as you guys know before you apply the next one, so hmm so so uh this glue dries really fast. You do not have to wait a long time and if you do thin layers, it will dry even faster. Do now it's time to apply the lace. Just follow your guide, which is what you place down. Adhesive you place down. If your lace comes a little bit further than the glue, that's fine, you can always add some glue on afterwards. It'S not the end, all be all okay, so our laces down in the front we're gon na do the same thing in the back. You'Re gon na go around the perimeter this time. I'M not gon na use my finger, i'm gon na actually use around the ear part the tail of a comb and then the bottom. I'M gon na use the bottle of glue and just go over the bottom of it. What you need to make sure you do is that you pull your lace all the way down from the beginning when you start to apply anything because you want to make sure that there's no gaps, there's no spaces or anything like that. Once you get the front down, it's going to be easier to do the back, because the front is already in place. So what you're going to do is you're going to do the front hairline. First then you're going to do around the ears and then you're going to do the nape area last, so so so foreign do so. What i noticed when i started to lay the lace down was that once it was on the lace started to like buckle a little bit, but that's because the lace was too long. So i split the lace in the middle and then i cut a little bit of the lace off the sides. Okay, so now, for the most part, we got the install together we're going to tie around our perimeter with the elastic band and then i'm going to start customizing it to style so foreign. I put some nairobi to start to mold the style. Now i took the elastic band off and i'm going to use the scissors and the eyebrow razor to remove the lace. Do i'm putting my elastic band on again, while i do some more styling, this elastic band, it just helps melt the lace really really really good. So i love using it. I sprayed some firewall heat protectant on the hair because i'm about to flat iron it straight so i can put it up into a ponytail. So do so so now i'm going to remove the elastic band. You can tell the difference just from the little bit of time that i had it on there. It makes a big difference when you apply the elastic band on the hairline. If you don't do this, i think you should really try and see how much of a difference it makes. So this style is going to have a lot going on we're going to have bangs with a ponytail, and i have to add extra bundle for the ponytail to make it fuller and she's going to have like two longer pieces on each side of her bang. Here i'm sectioning off the part for her bang. I usually make a triangle um, i'm going to make a triangle and then i'm going to round out the triangle. So it doesn't look like a triangle, no more, but it's up to you depending on how you want it to look. You can leave it in the triangle, but that when it falls it allows it to be wide. You don't want to go too wide because it's going to cut too much here, so this is the portion that's going to be for her bang. Once i cut it, it's going to be wider, then i'm going to go to the sides. I'M going to get this out the way and then i'm going to go to the sides and section off what i'm going to be using as minimal baby hair. So now that that's all out the way i'm going to get my ponytail up, the only thing i'm going to be using for the ponytail has got to be free spray. I don't want the ponytail to be too precise and too neat, but i do want it to. You know be securely up there, but the got to be free spray. I use it on my regular ponytails when i do regular um hair like natural hair um. It does serve its purpose, so i'm going to use a little bit of that to help me get this in place. Mm-Hmm this holding spray. It acts really fast, so you spray it. You mold the hair. The way you want it to go and you keep it moving to the next um portion um, it really does work well just make sure that you're moving quick. You do not want it to turn white or anything like that. So i spray i mold. What i need to mold - and i put it in the place that i needed to go and i'll leave it, and it dries like that, so to make sure that you have your ponytail secure, i put it up in a ponytail first. That was the first step. Then i took the god to be free spray and i sprayed it and i pushed everything up. I molded everything properly and, as you can see, it was some hair that was like kind of bulky at the top. So now i remove my scrunchie. I get everything evenly put into my hand and now i'm going to put it back into a ponytail the right way. So i removed my clips from the front now, i'm taking the nairobi foam wrap and i'm molding it down. So my bang can be flat and i'm going to blow dry it. I use that technique with everything. I always see me using my blow dryer my blow. Dryer is my best friend um. I also have a hot comb, but i don't feel like the hot comb works. The way i need it to work for me. I do have one and i do use it um, but for me the blow dryer works, just fine, i'm just so used to using it um. So i'm gon na blow dry the bang straight. The way that it needs to go so so now for cutting our bangs we're leaving the two pieces at the end to be longer, so i'm gon na take the middle, i'm gon na part from the top to the bottom. On the two sections that you see me, i'm sorry that i am covering the camera. I did not realize that, but then after i get the piece after i get the middle part together, i'm going to twist it and then in between my fingers, i'm going to cut it, do not let it go cut it all at one time now, when we Let it go, this is how it looks so the band comes a little longer on each side. You can twist it twice if you want it more dramatic. If you want the size to come more dramatically down, it's completely up to you, she wants the bang to be a little bit shorter on um like where her eyes are and her lashes. So i'm just going to go back in and trim it just a little bit, nothing crazy, just so that it could be a little bit shorter. So now i'm going to be adding the bundle to the ponytail, i'm not going to be using the whole thing, but i do want the ponytail to be a little fuller. So i am going to be adding maybe a little bit more than half of the bundle and i'm going to be gluing it. So i use two scrunchies to get this up and to get the wig up into a ponytail. So i'm going to be placing the hair around the scrunchie, so okay do so so two so uh! So so so so now i'm taking a piece from the back of the ponytail and i'm going to be using that for my wrap around i'm spraying it with some got to be freeze spray molding it in the way. I want it to look and i'm wrapping it around. So i love how this looks. I even like how it looks and i haven't even curled it. Yet it looks nice messy just like this, with the hair wavy, all we really need to do is curl the bang bump the bang a little bit and just go, but we're not gon na do that, i'm gon na curl it. So, let's finish styling, i use my eyebrow razor to cut off the um baby hairs to make them a little shorter. And now i spray my baby hair brush with some freeze spray and i'm gon na just lay the baby hairs down. I'M not doing any dramatic babies, something simple something cute some of i'm gon na leave. You know some of it just the way it is like flying a little bit so that it could still look messy but cute. Last but not least, it's time to curl our ponytail and then we're gon na be all done. Um uh! This is it guys i hope you enjoyed. I hope that this tutorial was very helpful for you.
