These braided wig videos have been all over the place on IG, so, I tried it out and I am giving you the tea! Does it look natural? Does it make sense? I bring out the petty for this video and wig review!

Hey clamp, Pam Lynwood here and today I'm doing a tutorial and a wick review for my first wigs calm. I went ahead and contacted me asked if I would do a video for them, and so I was like sure, and then they asked me if I could do a braiding tutorial on the wig for them, which usually I would be like. Why are we brighten up hair to go on top of raise it up? Hair, however comma? That'S what they requested because they said they let my braiding story also yeah. But there was something that I rather enjoyed about this brand and I don't know if I'm gon na be able to put it together. Just yet because it's a little complicated because you know, but anyway, I'm all about the extra. So they have these pieces here, which basically you can pop together to be able to create like a wig head stand. Oh look at me, I'm coordinated, I'm coordinated, hold up! Well, maybe not all right, so then you go ahead and pop it together like that here and then this piece looks to go right on these little portions here and to me it's nice because I feel like this is a really inexpensive additive that they've put in There, but it gives you a way to store your wigs without them just being tossed in a bag under the bed or wherever allison has wings literally everywhere. So trust me little details like that cut a very long way, so packaging, really nice I'll discuss more of the specs of the wig and stuff with you during the voiceover portion or the tutorial, because I don't want to waste your time. The hair comes in a bag like this, which I'll open and show you later, man also passed a pic with the fist all manner. Yeah has a flesh tone for most. You know a stocking cap which, let me stay here. This is amazing by itself not because these are super expensive. Again, it's a small additive, but most the caps that I get sent by these weight companies are like those mesh caps that don't even give any scalp type look to it. There is piece of paper in here discussing reward points, not for loyal customers, nice ways to be able to save some cash as well. Then this is the first for me as well. They sent something called a wig and knots healer and it says no bleaching, so it comes with a little brush like this here and we have going on here. Oh okay, so I'm not 100 % certain how to work. This I'm just gon na take a little bit of effort on my part boy, I'll figure it out. It also came with this little baggie here. Let'S see it seems like we've got some bobby pins instructions on how to put the cap together die so brilliantly put together. It also has other instructions in there metal, tip rat tail comb. I'M all about the details. You guys an elastic band just in case you need one, although it added touch. That would be nice to be if they went ahead and attached this in there. For you, just in case you're a super novice and you don't know how to do it, and we've also got two duckbill clips, which trust me. These will be super useful and of course, you know that's all on tote bag, but it's a super cute little bag with their branding on it very smart position. So, let's get into the wig tutorial. So first we're gon na start by struggling to get this bag open. Then, once we do get it over we're gon na take out the wig. This is the texture. It'S basically like a blown out natural texture, which I kind of like because it gives more of a sheen rather than a shine, and it looks much more natural if you plan on wearing the wig like this honestly, I prefer the wig like this over the braided. Look you guys already know how I feel, but you know special requests and all so I'm what I'm doing is checking to make sure that this fits Allison's head perfectly. This is why it's so important to check the size of your head before you order. This type of wig, usually on these sites, they will tell you exactly how to do that. So I'm gon na go ahead and begin parting off the hair that I'm going to braid. And what I'm going to do is just kind of clip off that section and make sure everything is pinned to where there's no wrinkles in the wig. It'S nice and smooth. Because, ultimately, this scalp section of this wig will be seen and you don't want it to be looking wrinkly and like a pack of sausage links in the back your neck, I mean, if you have those, naturally that's one thing, but it's a whole different situation for Your neck to have them, and it's on a wig like come on now from there I'm gon na go ahead and begin braiding up the small portion of the braids. You really want to make sure that you're focusing on getting as little pieces as possible and honestly, if you need a cornrow in tutorial, I do have one of those which I'll try to link in the cards up on top in the right hand corner. So here's a closer look and, of course it's sped up because ain't nobody got time to watch me break for 20 million years when half of y'all probably already know how to braid it. And if you don't know how to braid, then you know check out my other tutorials. I have tons of stuff to help you out, because you know I love you and hopefully your braiding up, you know actual here and we exist. Let me stop being shady anyway. So I'm so petty help me Lord I'm gon na go ahead and pull a very small amount out of baby here, despite the fact that I'm not the hugest fan of baby here, I feel like it's really difficult to pull off braiding down a wig. If you don't have some degree of baby hair present on the wig just you know, I will say it also helps if you plan on wearing a braided to ensure that you have every side of this wig pinned down extremely well. Once you get down to the bottom, you're gon na add the two braids together and just braid down to the rest of the hair. I'M gon na go ahead and continue this pattern throughout the rest of the head. So now I've got my first two. I can literally just do a big braid small braid and continue with out the process every now and then I'll pull out a very small amount for baby. Here and again, I focused heavily on small, because trust me. A little looks like a whole lot when you get to gel in this stuff down and you'll, be looking like booboo the fool with a whole bundle of weave chilling on your forehead. It'S just a spirit of too much. Don'T get it carried away with baby hair thing again, very small sections and the smaller you guys start off these braids, the better they're going to look when you finish so keep in mind. Detail is everything you guys so from there. I'M just gon na literally continue this process throughout the remainder of the wig, and this is what the week is looking like. This is the baby here that I've got pulled out and I need to trim this down. It'S a bit excessive, so I'm gon na use go ahead instead of cutting straight across notice, I'm gliding those shears up and down this helps to kind of thin out the end stump all right. So what I'm gon na do from here is I'm going to take this wig, not heeler, as they call it, and I'm going to go ahead and place it on the inside of this cat. Now it stated on the instruction they sent me that you should basically take it. You'Re gon na roll up this portion here now. Naturally, you would need to have some sort of brown or skin tone in order for that to match because, as you guys see, it has a brownish color, but you're gon na take it from what they instructed me to hunt which is kind of difficult. Let me see if I can turn this inside out. Okay, so I'm gon na take it I'm gon na rub it on the inside of the lace here and then it stated to go ahead and take this brush and brush it in, and this is supposed to help hide the nuts and all that now and once It'S dry you're supposed to be able to put on the week with no problems. I'M gon na go ahead and flip it over and see if it made much different, so you guys can see around the front is where I placed it back in here is where it isn't. Let me see now I sing a ton of difference on there. I see it, but I don't, but it also looks like the areas where I put it more heavy as areas where it's making a bit of a difference, so I could just be being a little too light handed with it. So let me get a little heavier and see how well this works out as it just feels like I'm rubbing too hard. I don't I don't know it's dangerous, and now that we've got that all nation slickers we've got that I'm gon na give it another. Let me see here, actually you know what now I can see a difference. Okay, all right! I see uh. So of course, if you don't have this, you can use powder foundation once it dries. I can let you all know how much I love it and or don't love it. I don't know, but that way you guys can kind of see there. So I'm gon na go and let this dry some I'll get on. Allison will trim lace, lay down baby here all that loveliness, and this is the look of struggle when you're trying to figure out how exactly to put this wig cap on. Ultimately, if, like it turned out okay, but there were a couple qualms I had with it. So let me know what you guys think, first of all, in the comment box down below you guys can see. Allison has a spirit of too much all upon her. She honestly was like I don't know how to pose in this, like what am I supposed to do? It'S just its own. You guys can see like that band of light color in there. That is my primary issue with this, because with most full lace wigs, it has a different material towards the back, rather than it being laced. So you see a huge shift in color, even with makeup and the not healer thing on there. So that's my primary qualms as far as the quality of the wig, I think that it's great but, of course, make sure you guys subscribe turn on post notifications. sdm Randle: Thanks for the video. Why didn’t they just bleach the knots since they requested braids! I love that hair texture but so many other companies sale the same hair/same wig, what would make me want to spend that kind of money on theirs. It’s My First Wig, isn’t the concept to make it easy for new wig wearers, for what the cost is they should sew in the band. That band can be purchase in a roll for $5-6 dollars I don’t see it as a great perk just to receive a piece for a $300 wig; but that’s just me. Question: regarding wig knots. When they are bleached shouldn’t those roots(knots) be invisible? When the knots are bleached does that mean the lace (grid) is undetectable? Thanks again.

Carol O: I think you should have tried french braids of flat twists where the parting is only where the lace is and you can braid the back where it hides the undesirable part. Plus braid it on Allisons hair once u glue down the wig so ur customizing the style.
