Installing A Full Lace Wig Behind My Natural Hairline (For Low Hairlines Or Short Foreheads)

Hey doll squad, thanks for stopping by my channel, so today, i'm here with a new video, showing you guys how i install my full lace, wigs behind my natural hairline and baby hair. Now this is not for everyone. This is for those who have a short forehead, low, hair line, or just don't like that. Lacy look in the front, so i'm going to show you how i blend my natural baby hairs with this wig before we get started, make sure you hit that subscribe button and turn on your post notifications. Alright. So if you want to learn how to do this, keep watching okay guys. So, firstly, you don't need a new wig for this. I am using my two year old, full lace, wig and i have some old braids on top of that. So i'm just going to put that on and i'm going to show you guys when i put it on it, do not it's just way too close. My forehead! Look, too short, so this is the reason why i do it like this. As you see, i have this piece of lace here that need to be cut off, i'm going to cut that off later, but yeah. This is what it would look like if i didn't put it behind my hairline, so i'm just going to sit it where i want it to sit it and i'm going to rub out. You know those little hairs in the front of my hairline. I'M going to pin back the hair, so i just can have like easy access and now that i know where i want it to sit. I'M just going to use my guts to be blue and i use the clear one that comes in a black bottle and i'm just going to put a thin layer of it because i am going to wash it off at the end of the night. Sometimes i wear it for about two three days, but it just depends on my activity. Okay, so i'm going to start putting it down now i always start from the middle, and then i just work my ways to the sides. I always have a red tail comb because it just kind of assists me as you see i'm using it the whole time, because it helps me now the lace on the side um this extra piece of lace. I am going to cut it off. I'M sorry i'm out of frame but yeah. You guys see it's kind of like going down and i just like stretch it down really tight and blend my baby hairs, and then i blow dry it. So before i move on, i just try to make sure that part is secure and it's just basically almost melted in because i finished everything off at the end. Now. One thing i forgot to mention is that i do not do the bald cap. One is start pulling out your little baby hairs and the little hairs on the side. I need all of that and i just like the neutral look of it without the cap so yeah. So now i'm just going to add some more of the gel to the sides, and i also just kind of like scoop out my baby hairs, my little siberian, so it can all blend together because that can't go up there. So i have to make sure that it's nice and neat and once i get that down, i blow dry it again now. Moving on to the left side, i'm going to repeat the same process now i usually just kind of make sure i rub it out to make sure it doesn't dry hard. I don't really like the crunchy, hard hairline look or the super hairline. Look, it's cool and it's nice for a lot of people, but my natural hairline is a little messy, so i just try to mimic it. So i have that extra piece of lace right there in the front, i'm just going to cut that off and um it's best to use the little cuticle scissors because you know, but i couldn't find it so that little piece that's like lifting up. I just add some gel on the tip of the comb and just put that under there, and you could also use this technique. If you don't want to take it off every day and it's lifting in little areas. You could just put a little bit of gel on the rat tail and just tuck it under like. So once i finish getting everything down. I just kind of like go over everything and just take the blow dryer make sure everything is dried down, hard um and when i'm done with that, i just use some baby wipes or some makeup wipes, whichever you have and just clean everything off to make sure. I don't have any like messy looks or my baby hairs is not hard or i don't have any shiny spots that just scream i got a wig on. You guys know that shiny look, so i'm just going to start smoothing out my baby hairs and styling them. I don't really like to overdo them. I use some nairobi, so they're not hard and once i shape them later on, i just kind of like rub them out, so it has a nice soft look to them and i kind of like shaped them like my natural baby hairs. So i'm you know the very front of it. I have like some of my little small hairs there and i just blend it with a little baby hairs on a wig and just make them all one. I marry them together so to speak. So, like i said, i don't do too much with the baby hairs, i kind of like shake them out later on anyhow, so i'm pretty much done with that. I'M just going to take out these clips and shake it out. I did curl the wig prior to installing it and um. This is what it looked like now to lay the top. I used this product, i'm going to put that in the description jar. I'M sorry in the description bar and i use a hot comb to just lay it down, get it real flat, nice and natural. Looking and honestly guys, if you like to wear lace, wigs, you need a hot comb, because it is really an essential tool to make your wig look natural. So this is it all done, i'm just combing it down and see how nice and flat and natural. This look and the best thing about it: i'm able to put it behind my ears. This is how i usually wear it for the most part, isn't it lovely so guys hope this was helpful to you guys, um yeah, make sure you give me some thumbs up.

Makayla Jackson: I have the same issue with the low hairline and have been wanting to try this method, but have been afraid it’s going to rip it my edges. Is there anything different u do for edge care and the removal process with u putting the wig behind your hairline? Your edges look great so I assume it doesn’t rip out ur edges. Great vid ❤️
