Hi guys welcome back to my channel hope, you're all doing good and amazing. We are nearly out of lockdown in the uk kind of you know: april 21st, let's get lit, but anyway um. So today i'm going to show you how i installed this alipo wig. I got a 613 unit and it came with like a headscarf and a little edge brush comb um. This is in the length 22 inches and i got a 180 density, so it wasn't too thick because i did want to cut it like the ends. A little bit so this is the color and the lace is a really really really good. Color, normally like i found that the lace is a little bit too white, but the color was actually quite good. It was like a beige color. I went ahead and toned the hair with my touch of silver brightening shampoo. It was just a purple shampoo, you can use any, and i really struggled with this part guys. I think i i literally had to go in like five times to tone the hair, because it was just so difficult and it just kept coming out uneven. But that was just my fault because i couldn't like i literally just - could not get the hair to look. Even the hair was like had like strands of like golden yellow it had like purpley. It was just, it was just a mess, but we made it work at the end, so i just went ahead and plucked the wig off camera as usual. As always, i do just have a tutorial that you guys can check out on how i pluck my wigs. It'S literally the same technique and routine every single time, but yeah there's a before and after of what the wig looked like and as you can see when the hair's dry, like it, doesn't look as bad as when it's wet like the tones sort of blend. In quite well, together, um still not perfect, but you know we move so here's the wig in some different lighting. As you can see, you can still see the tonal difference. Um. You know they're like blondes and like silvery tones, but you know i i do think it looks alright. You know she's wearable she's a wearable unit. So, moving on to the application, i went ahead and put some makeup in the pot, as you can see, and here's just me showing the wig again yeah. As you can see, i just put some makeup down there, so it's not like white and it just blends a bit better with my skin. Then i take my nw58 mac studio fix powder and i just very very very lightly, pressed it into the lace cap. You want to be very gentle and careful with this part, because you do not want the powder seeping through onto the actual hair, because that's how you make blonde hair look dirty like blonde wigs. You just don't want your makeup mixing with with the hair, so i would actually recommend doing this before you apply your makeup if you're going to wear light units, so i just clipped my hair aside and just went ahead and started cutting the lace. I wanted to try a different application today, so, as you can see, i'm just cutting off the ear tabs and just making sure everything's fitted, and then i grabbed my hot comb and i just made sure there were no flyaways or little hairs in the way, because I just yeah, we don't want those messing up our game hair. I then took my ors fixit, gel and hairspray, and i went ahead and instead of cutting the lace first, i went ahead and flipped the little flap that i cut off before and placed the gel underneath that little section um not the most necessary thing to do. If i'm honest with you like, really and truly just cut the lace, do i do whatever is easiest this? This didn't change my my life, but i have just seen like other like hairstylists do this before, which is why i wanted to give it a go, but yeah it was. It was all right. I think it will probably work better if you use like actual lace glue and not um the gel. So i just blow-dried that and made sure it was 100 dry before i went in with my scissors and just cut in a zigzag motion and made sure everything was blended, um. Here'S me just going in with a little bit more of that gel and just pressing down onto any parts that are lifting onto the lace. I'M just brushing the hairs aside and then i'd grab some more of my powder and just press that onto the lace again. Just to help blend everything a little bit better. I just kept going in with my powder to make sure that there wasn't any white cast onto my hair, so i just went ahead and repeated that process onto the other side as well. Um this side didn't come out as good. I'M not gon na lie to you uh. She was a little visible, but you know i'm just gon na say it was the lighting. It was the lighting i don't know but yeah moving on. I went ahead and grabbed some sections of hair for the baby hairs. Again i tried a new technique. I just grabbed like a whole like a line of hair, as you can see and then went ahead and grabbed some got to be gel the black one and just pressed all the hairs down at the root just to help, keep it in place and then cut The hair kind of in like a diagonal line um just to help it look a bit more wispy. Then i grabbed some more of the gel and i grabbed some ors mousse and mixed it together in the back of my hands and grab the toothbrush that the wig came with and just sweep all my baby hairs. There'S not really a technique to this. You just want to keep doing it until you're, satisfied with how the baby hairs look, but yeah just go in a sweeping motion and just make sure that they look cute. So i just repeated that, on the other side as well as you can see now moving on to cutting the hair, i wanted to go for, like a like, i don't know, really fluffy bouncy um look. I wanted the wig to have some really nice layers and to be a little bit blunt at the bottom. So i went ahead and sectioned off half of my hair um, and this is going to be the bottom layer and i just brushed everything to make sure it was all even grabbed my scissors and just hacked at the hair yeah. I just blended the ends in a little bit and also went in and cut some layers at the bottom by moving my scissors in a diagonal line, and then i let down the top layer of my hair and then just cut diagonally going down to make some Face framing layers, so this is what the hair looked like when it was completely straight. I grabbed some more of my mousse and i took my hot comb: oh no, no hot comb! Yet i'm about to take my hot comb and flatten the top just to make sure that it blends in with my baby hairs and everything's, just looking really nice and sleek and flat now going in with my curling iron. I'Ve got the name of this, but i'll put it in the description box, but i just grabbed pretty big sections and just curled all my hair. Again, i didn't want really tight tight curls. I just wanted it to look like almost like kind of like a blowout. So i just curled all the hair and yeah. This is what it looked like. I set each section with some hairspray and then just brushed it out once the hair was cool but yeah. This is what it turned out, as i hope you guys enjoyed my video make sure you guys like comment and subscribe, and i will see you in my next one: bye,
