Flawless Wig Install Beginner Friendly | Modern Show Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel. My name is monet, but i know that's creative diva if you are new, make sure to go ahead and stop and subscribe. If you have not. I just want to thank y'all again for joining me um today, she's going to be a cooperation with modern show hair. So if you guys are interested in seeing how to style this hair my thoughts on it, let's go ahead and get started really cute with the packaging you guys they sent um. Let me see i'll go ahead and open it up for you guys they sent some lashes. They sent a cone which i thought was nice baby she'd be losing my cones all the time um they sent me a clip. I always keep these because i do wigs. So it just it works. So this is the hair um. I will put the unit down below um. This is what the hair looks like. I did go ahead and bleach the knots um. Let me see - and i also added a band - i will say off the back. This hair is super super soft. I do think that the hair could be a lot thicker. What i'm going to do is um, i'm going to wear it straight. So um that's going to tell you how thick it is. So i definitely think if you are gon na get this wig you like full hair. You know you're a three bundle, plus type chick um type person. You know you definitely want to make sure you're getting the right density. All right, you guys, i'm going to start by putting my wig on. I always do it this way, because it's just easier, especially with the band i'm just going to go ahead and pull up the wig just to match it ear to ear to make sure this is how i want it to lay i'm then going to go in, And clip my hair back just to get it out the way. I always recommend this, whether whatever clips you have, i just recommend it just helps so the middle part that i had it did not line up to the middle of my head. So i just went ahead and fixed that part and then we're gon na go in with the hot comb and just lay everything down and what i do. Personally, i do take my hot comb through my hair about twice and so i'm kind of doing it just to prep the wig, so i can go ahead and secure it with my spray and then after i got everything situated, the band is on it's been sitting. I then go back in just to make sure that everything is good and laid the way i wanted to so i'm going to go in and take my hairspray and i'm starting from the ear and i'd like to do it in sections. It just helps so that way, there's no hair all over the place, no hair getting stuck in the spray, and i just take my fingers, which not really my finger itself like the skin, is more so my nail um. So if you don't have nails on, i definitely recommend using a comb. So that way, you don't have any residue. That'S left from whatever product that you're using to secure your unit. Now that i have my unit secured, i'm going to go in with a wax stick and i'm just gon na place this on the hair. I feel like this helps a lot with making sure that the wig is laid as sleek as possible um. So i'm gon na take my hot comb once again and go in now. If you want so, you can go in and part individually and then bring your hot comb through the roots. That also helps as well when securing your unit and just laying it because the goal is to give what scalp. So we are trying to give a good old, beginner wig scalp, i'm going to go in and just make sure that everything is cut now a lot of times when it comes to the ear tabs me personally, i hate to cut it off of my head, because The measuring, sometimes it just just be toe up sometimes so i prefer to go ahead and secure the unit on my head and then kind of make the adjustments based on that now, you can do whatever you like to do, i'm just based on personal preference. I just realized that the last time i tried to do this off the wig. I ended up cutting more than i needed, and so i rather cut less and just build you guys, i'm just going to talk a little bit about the hair so that i can give you the specs um, and so with this unit it is a straight unit. I thought i don't know why i thought the density on this was about 130, because that's what it feels like to me, but it is actually 150 density. It is an indian virgin straight unit. Um. This unit is 24 inches, so i will put the links down below for you guys as well. First off right out the box, i will say that i noticed the hairline. For me, the hairline is everything um. I did still pluck the unit. I didn't have to do as much though i will say that much so i love the fact that the frontal itself was pretty much. I would say, beginner ready like when i say beginner ready. I mean ready to go out the pack um, but me i am going to add a few baby hairs and i am going to pluck it just to give me more of a realistic touch, which i always recommend. If you don't know how to do that, um, you can always like just search youtube videos or just take it to someone that is more familiar with plucking. So that way you don't over plug. I do recommend to start little do not just start plucking and then you're bald, because that's yeah, it's there's nothing. You'Re gon na be able to do um. So what i'm doing is just taking my hot comb running that comb through it making sure to get it as sleek as possible, because we are to do a straight, i'm just going to wear it straight. I just wanted to see how thick it was and yeah and just see how it reacts to heat. I wanted to make this video great for new wig wearers, i'm just taking some foundation and i'm going to place that in my part, if you notice that you over conceal, you can always go in like i did with some mascara and just add that back to The roots that will help you guys so i'm gon na come back. I'M going to do my face because it's not giving me i'm not i'm just not i'm just not, and it's more so like the hair is gorgeous like i don't want to take away from it. The hair is really really pretty it's just. I cannot get off of the thinness like i'm just there like. That'S why i meant with it. So i'm gon na come back i'll. Do my makeup and see what we come up with as you guys i came back, i got my face on. I actually like it with the look um, but i still i'm still stuck on how thin it looks now. I think that's just my personal preference honestly because to me it this is a natural looking unit um. So for those of you who are just getting into units or for those who, just like that relaxed sleek look, i think this is a perfect go um. What i'm doing is just taking a little bit of mousse taking my little brush, and you know swooping me some baby hairs, i'm not going to go too crazy with it, because i just want something real natural looking. If that makes sense, i'm not gon na pull out too many baby hairs, just the edges and then um, where my ear is okay, you guys i'm going to take my hair down and i'm going to run the hot comb through it one more time just to Make sure everything is good, i'm actually going to just stop talking, because everything else is self-explanatory. Let me know what you guys think of the unit, if you guys have tried the specific hair out from modern show hair. Let me know what your experience was and yeah. If you guys want me to do another type of video for beginners or some color type videos um, let me know i'm going to start trying to get more into the styling of it, because i don't do that. Often i'm trying to get better. You guys. I am gon na add just a little bit of um this polisher on here, because it is frizzy like and i hate i hate, adding this. I try not to add it if possible, because sometimes it does make the hair seem too oily. So i'm just going to add the finishing touches, i'm adding a little bit of mousse on the baby hairs near my ear. I like to add my swoop once my hair is all secured, and then i go in with my razor and kind of customize it. I do recommend doing this when the wig is on your head, because you know your ear shape your ear length, ear size. You know that does affect you know how much you're going to cut um. So i just wanted to come and show you guys the length it is 24 inches. You see it's silky, it's giving natural alia vibes. Let me know what you guys.
