Catherine Rubi: So I used to watch these dog grooming videos and whenever they go around the face they have these curved shears so that the face doesn't have choppy Sharp edges and layers. Anyways I bought a pair for my cousin because she works in African hair salon and they have a lot of woman come in with natural textured hair because she would always complain about the extra work that you have to go through when you cut with straight shears, and apparently it works like a charm. Especially since you shouldn't cut textured when its wet.
