Step By Step Side Part Wig Install For Beginners Ft Ali Grace Hair

Okay, i'm gon na show you guys how i turned this wig into this flawless install so before we get started, make sure you like comment and subscribe, and let's get straight into this video so today we'll be working with ally, gray's hair. So this is how the hair came packaged in this cute satin dust bag, and i had to make sure i got all the items out of the bag first, so they did send over this card and y'all look at it in the picture. My girl glow. Oh she's so cute, but anyway y'all they sent over this card and it just has like the reward system that they have on there. They did also sent over this wig cap and let's get now into the wig that they sent me. So this is the wig super silky super straight hair. Look at that 13 by four lace, wig frontal wig, and then i wanted to show you guys the knots before i went ahead and bleached them. They had does come with the combs in the inside, but you know i always cut all the combs out, except for the one in the back and yeah. I just wanted to make sure i showed you guys so y'all can see the before and after so i went in with my tresemme conditioner, i like to go ahead and put conditioner on the lace first before bleaching, the knots just so that the bleach does not Go through onto the hair, this is a hack that i learned it works for me and i like to go ahead. All you got to do is just rub it in there, but you guys i kind of made a mistake by bleaching the hair first, but you guys will see what i mean so now. I am going in to bleach my knot, so i am using 40 developer and this is the l'oreal devel i mean the bleach powder. Part is l'oreal, so you want to make sure that it is thick. You don't want to make sure it's runny, it's not going to be the same like if you were actually bleaching hair. You want to make sure it is thick like look how thick that is. You want to make sure when you tap it, it's not falling off that spoon because that's how you're going to get the best results. So i just like to go ahead and tap that on there and, as you all could see, that's how it look and then go a little bit over the hairline part. Just because you want to make sure you're just bleaching. It really well. So right now, as you'll see, i bleached the knots and i am going in with my gossip glue to spray the lace, i'm making sure it gets really hard because i'm going to watercolor this hair jet black, because your girl do not like the natural brown. I got ta have jet black hair, so this was a mistake that i use i did by coloring the hair first, because i had to go back in and bleach the knots again because it looked like i never bleached them, but spraying the hair, with the hold With the spray and make sure that you don't have to worry about that knots is not going to change. No color like that lace is not gon na turn black because i sprayed it down so as y'all could see. I went in and re-bleached my knots, but look how the hair looks y'all. I literally washed this hair twice and y'all gon na see how silky it gets so we're gon na go straight into applying this lace to my head. I wanted to make sure i did spray my skin guard adhesive, that is to make sure that that glue does not do any damage to my edges. So i do like to make sure i go in with that and then now i'm going to show you guys how i like to apply my glue and lay down my wig. So i like to make sure i do three cuts in between that makes it so much easier because if i just try to lay it all down at once, some parts of the glue dry up and some is not laying down. And it's just a big mess for me, so this is just an easier way i feel like for beginners or anything is to do that. Also, as you all can see, i do have a part on the side because i like to go in and style the hair before i put it on my head and then i'll style it more, but you know just pre-style it just so you're not yanking too Much at the lace, it's just so much easier, so i'm gon na go in with my homie down glue and i like to go in with three to four layers. So this time i did use three layers. You just want to smear it in really good and when it dries clear, that's when you want to apply the next layer. So again i go in with those layers. First apply one side and then i go to the next side. You really want to make sure that it is clear before laying it down. I know you guys could see that it is a little white right there, but it's fine, because this glue does dry clear. So it is going to all blend in i like to go in with my rat tail comb and just gently push down just to make sure it is down secure and then i of course use my wig wrap to go ahead and lay that down. I love the elastic ones, it's just so much easier, so i am going in with my hot comb. You know just making sure that i get this hair super flat so that, when i put you know, you just want to make sure your install look flawless. You know you want to make sure it looks really good, so i'm going to go ahead and straighten it in sections just so i could get it as straight as possible, silky as possible, but y'all. Look how good this hair is looking, and i told you guys i bleached it in watercolor, like i literally washed, this hair twice already before installing it in my head, and this hair looks still good as new when i'm straightening. So i just like to you know, use something lightweight. If you're going to use the oil, you don't want to use nothing too heavy on the hair, because then it could make it greasy and weigh it down too much. So i do like to go in with the lightweight mist spray and my flat iron and my plug in pressing comb and again you want to make sure you're straining that in section, so you can get the most flattest install as possible and what i say: look: How silky look at that silkiness like look, you cannot tell me this is not the hair fresh out of the pack like look how good this hair is good, it's so good and the shedding is minimum, like i don't even recall, having at all like the only Parts i feel like i have shedding is like, of course, when you cut off some of the hair and you'll have like a little shedding, but other than that. No and now i am cutting off the lace i like to cut off the lace with scissors. I used to use the razor, but scissors are so much easier. I feel like you get it just a good cut like look at that you get a good cut with the scissors so right now i'm going in so i can style my little side, bang thing. So i'm just want to make sure i'm getting it real sleek. So that's what y'all seeing me just basically styling it before i put any product on it. So i don't you know i could see if that's even what i really want to do, and i just want to say for this to slick down my hair. I always use mousse and edge control. I don't know something about the two: the olive oil mousse and then my instant control or my edge booster is something about it, mixing together. That makes it so bomb, but more of the instant control and the olive oil mousse like it just makes it slick and just it doesn't get greasy it. Just that's what i usually go in when i'm slicking down my hair, so i did go in with my wax stick and that is a wax stick from the edge booster company and yeah. I did just go in with that. You know, of course, to make it look good and then also when you're doing that you want to do it in sections as well. So i didn't do that, but if you wanted to come out super flat, you want your suit to be super flat. You could part it slick, it part, it slick it until you get all the way to the top, but it still looked good, even though i didn't do that and as i always state i am not the best with the edges, so i really don't go too Much in the details of showing you guys that, but i am going to show you guys a little bit of course, so i just like to go ahead and part me out like a little piece. I still need to learn how to do this, because some people really be slammed with the edges on the lace and i cannot y'all so i like to go on my mini flat iron. That is my best friend, so i'm just going to go ahead and cut these away. Go in with my mini flat iron and curl. It upward, because it makes it so much easier to just brush it all into place like look how just brush all into place. Without any product like it brushed so good, i didn't put no product on there y'all now that i'm editing the video and watching it that updo style kind of was cute with the slick i probably should have do something like that. I need to switch it up. That may be something i look into doing something like a little different but y'all. Look, how look how good this looks on my head and i'm not even done yet like look how good it looks and i'm just so amazed because i'm just y'all i did that y'all always think i found it to do it up and then i changed my Mind just left it down, but look at that lace boom.
