Angelica: I've never worn any wig, hairpiece or extention. To be honest I've never needed to. I have a friend who does , due to alopecia, but hers always seems so simple. I know in the black community, they're used as a protective style. And sometimes easier than the five million hours, it'd take to achieve on natural hair. This looks amazing on this lady. Back in the 70s 80s 90s and early 2000s people would laugh at you but smh social media really shows how people become followers in every sense of the word . Like ANYTHING can be done on social media and it doesn't take long for people to jump on the bandwagon. Seriously some hairstyles aren't meant to wear edges out. Just like eyebrows changed over the years about 5 different ways. I've been wearing good mascara and I everyone thinks I'm wearing false lashes. I refuse to waste money on false lashes OR weave in hair that has been taken from exploited women in 3rd world countries . Especially as black women , we have to do better .
