So in today's video i'm going to be showing you guys this gorgeous wig that i got from west kiss hair here are some of the accessories that came in my package and i'm going to open up the box to show you what comes inside of the box. As well so here we have the bag, a wig cap, a edge brush some lashes and, of course, the wig. So this is going to be the look that we're going for today. This is the hair in its natural state. I didn't really add too much product to it, because i wanted it to get nice and fluffy, and i thought this hair would look perfect in a side part. So that is what we have going on here with some overly overly dramatic baby hairs, which i did end up, cutting a little bit after this video, but let's get into it. So basically, all i'm going to do is put the wig on my head. I already have it in the place that i want it to be so whatever you want, your wig to wherever you want your weight to be so, if you wanted a side part a middle part, i personally, you can do it on your head, but i personally, Like to do it on my wig block, so i put the wig on my head. I put where i want the part, and then i put the wig back on the wig head and mold that part, because i don't know i just don't like to do it on my head i'll, be burning myself, so yeah. So here i'm just going to cut off the extra lace on the side so that it lays flat and that's something that i suck at okay. I really am not good at laying wigs period, but i'm going to keep doing hair videos until i master it. Okay, we will get there, we will get there, so i'm cutting this off and being very careful and then i'm taking this bold hold liquid gold and it's like a gel. It kind of has like the consistency of like the got to be glue but yeah. This is like way stronger, um, so yeah. I basically just put it where i want to lay that portion of the wig blow dry it a little bit so that it gets a little tacky and then, of course, i'm going to place the lace right. On top of that, and i'm going to repeat that, all throughout the front of the wig, i'm not going to focus too much on the left side because it's going to be covered with the hair. But i'm going to lay it down just a little bit. Music. Music, so just like with any type of glue or adhesive, you want to take your comb and just kind of like comb, the lace into the glue or the adhesive, because obviously you want it to stick and at first i was just blow drying it, and i Was like i got ta, i actually have to press it into the lace. So this is what i'm doing here, and i also added a little bit more just so that it lays flat okay and this stuff gets very tacky, very quick. So so it gets really messy, especially if you're new to this. Like me, i was getting a little frustrated. I ain't gon na lie. You probably can't tell, but i was getting a little frustrated because it was very sticky and i was like what is going on here, but we shall proceed so here, i'm just continuing to blow dry it and, as i go, i'm cutting off the lace because i Just don't want it on my forehead anymore, but i'm literally cutting it right at the very, very, very front of the hairline and obviously i'm not no professional at plucking or anything like that. So i'm gon na finesse this as much as i can, and i feel like baby hairs - is the way to kind of finesse a wig, especially if you don't know what you're doing. But here i'm just continuing to cut off the lace and now i'm going in and i'm taking out the parts where i want my baby hairs to be so i can kind of mold them in the correct direction. So i do want, like a side part, look very dramatic, so i'm gon na be taking hair from the side of course, and then i'm also going to be parting a little bit in the front as well, and here i'm just taking my hot comb very, very, Very scared to burn my face and i'm going to hot comb these down so that they stay down and i'm just going to hot comb, the hairline back, so that it's out of the way and then over. Here i'm going to be taking out some more hair and, as you can see, it is a little crusty and that's because that stuff that i'm using, like i said, gets really tacky to the point where it was getting really messy and i was like okay. I don't know what's going on here, but i'm not feeling it so here, i'm just taking some more hair from the front and hot combing it down and then hot combing, the hair back. So here i'm just clipping up the hair so that it's out of the way and then i'm going to put on an elastic band to kind of further melt the lace. I didn't really care for the left side. Like i said, as you can see, the lace is still on there and i wasn't too worried about it, but yeah, i'm just tying the elastic band in the back and now i have this situation going on and we're basically going to just mold down the part. A little bit more so that it's nice and flat music. So this was the part that was difficult for me. Okay, so once i molded it down, took off the elastic band, i cut them so that they weren't super long and then i was trying to figure out how i wanted them like baby hairs are so complex. It'S not even funny like it just depends on the style you want. If you want them to be super dramatic, you can definitely go for that. Look, but a lot of people like them to be super natural. So that's also a really cute look, but now i'm going to go in with my flat iron, of course, and i'm going to do the arrogant method which i still haven't perfected. I don't know what i'm doing y'all, but i'm just trying to get them to lay because right now, they're just bone straight and they look crazy. So i'm just going to take this flat iron and do some very dramatic curls and honestly, if you wanted to leave it like this, just cut them a little bit shorter that'd be cute as well it'd be giving you know diera, but i don't want all this Hair on my face, so i'm definitely going to go in and cut them. So here i'm just going to take my little edge brush and we're going to comb them in the direction that i want them to go in and obviously they're not going to stay. This long, i'm just combing them to see how long i need them to be, and here, as you can see, i'm cutting them and they still have a little bit of curl to it. But i'm going to go back in and curl it even more so yeah. This part is not my specialty, i'm still learning how to do this technique, but it does help a lot with molding your baby hairs. If you are a beginner, so now i'm just going to take some water and i'm going to kind of tame the hair. A little bit because it has gotten a little puffy. I actually really like the puffy look, but i do like to start off with the hair, nice and tamed and then get bigger throughout the day, because, obviously, if it starts big, it's going to get even bigger. So i just like to start it off really tamed a little bit of a wet look kind of, but not really, because i want the hair to loosen up throughout the day and yeah. This is basically all i do. I just add some water and then i do go in comb out the bottom or brush out the bottom and i also add products to the bottom of the hair as well. So this is the aussie moist mousse and it's also a leave-in conditioner as well. I just put that on the bottoms like i said, i do kind of put it throughout the hair a little bit, but i mostly focus on the ends because i don't want them to get super frizzy throughout the day. So yeah i'm just going to put that on the ends and brush it through and basically until i get like a nice curl at the bottom, you want to kind of brush it through like a little rough, if that makes any sense kind of like shingling, but With a brush - and i'm just gon na, go through the other side with the water as well, and do the exact same thing on this side: music just to get the hair, you know a little tamed at the top so that it doesn't get super frizzy. I'M gon na add some of that mousse as well, and this is just gon na make it look a little bit more defined so that when it does get bigger, it's still this curl pattern, but it's just a little bit bigger and it's not necessarily frizzy. So that's why i put this on the top as well, and i don't do too much. I don't like go piece by piece. I just kind of you know eyeball it and then i go ahead and take the bottom of the hair and i scrunch it up. So, like i said with the brush, you want to kind of like brush through it and flick your wrist a little bit and then in the end i do still go in and scrunch up the ends, because you guys know this makes it look even more curly When it dries, and basically that is literally it for this video, so now i'm just going to take off the elastic band and reveal you know what i could do a little bit. I knew too much because i don't know what i'm doing, but y'all get the point. Every video i plan to get better and better at this. I promise you guys, but this is what we got and i do want to go in and kind of like comb. These out, so they don't look so crunchy and you know stuck to my forehead but yeah. That'S what i'm doing here. I'M just combing them out to kind of loosen them up a little bit and if they do kind of get out of place, when you comb them, you could just go in with like a little bit of edge control like the tiniest amount of edge controls that It doesn't look stiff, so this is the final look. Of course. I have some footage in the end, showing you guys the full length in the front and the back, but this is the look and you guys we're going nuts over this hair. On my most recent tic toc and it is from west kiss, this is gorgeous. This is a 36 inch wig and i am literally in love. This is my favorite wig, ever like ever west kiss has some of the best wigs like lengthwise density, wise construction, wise lace, wise.
