Trying The Headband Wig Trend! Half Wigs Are Back? | Julia Hair

What'S up y'all welcome back to our channel. Today'S video is a collaboration with julia hair company. So let's jump straight into the video, so julia hair company was nice enough to send me their malaysian curly half wig. This one is in 24 inches and i just wanted to show you guys what it looked like straight out of the box straight out of the bag. It does have a comb in the front for security as well as one in the back, and then it has those stretchy adjustable straps. So you can fit it to your head, but this is what it looked like straight out of the bag and they did go ahead and send me headbands. You got your blood, your crib purple, and it gave me wig caps, but they are entirely too light. For my complexion, so i won't be using those so here it is straight out of the bag and onto my head and a curl pattern speaks for itself. It'S so pretty literally gorgeous, so i'm really gon na do here is lay my edges using my edge booster by style factor. That'S my favorite edge control and then these are the combination of brushes and combs that i use to lay my edges and i am natural. All natural i don't put relaxed on my edges anymore, so all i'm really doing right here is just brushing my edges down so that i could give myself some swoops and give the front a little flavor whatever. So that's what you see me doing, just laying my edges with the edge control and using a combination of my edge brush and my edge comb to get it to lay how i want it to. I always get compliments and questions on how i lay my edges. This is pretty much the routine right here. I just use this same edge control. This is the only edge control that works for me. Now that i am completely natural that doesn't turn my hair gray, so i use the edge booster by style. Factor is what the name and brand is and, as you guys can see, might be laid down um. You can just ignore everything behind my edges, because it's not going to matter since this is a half wig. It doesn't matter um and i also had on a brown wig cap just because i couldn't find black. But again it doesn't matter because you're not going to see any of this you're only going to see the very front part of my hair. So this is a really really good protective style and that's why these are like really trendy right now, like i said, half wigs aren't anything new. You know they've always been around. I used to wear half wigs when i was in middle school um, but the thing about it was they were synthetic, so the fact that they have human hair ones now is really helpful, like human hair ones that are already ready to go back in the day. You used to have to like make your own little quick, weave, half wig, so this is just way more convenient and, like i said it only takes like 10 minutes, like you watching me. Do this video is how long it took me to do my hair. Like 10 minutes, so it's really convenient, really easy and you can be natural, you don't have to be relaxed or anything. It'S a really good way to protect your hair, but still give a look. If you know what i'm saying so, i laid my edges and, like i said everything behind my edges doesn't matter, and that is because i'm just gon na go ahead and put a scarf on top of the cap. That'S showing so it being brown didn't matter, because i was just gon na cover it up. Anyway, you see what i'm saying so yeah. I just went ahead and put this scarf on top, just to add a little character, a little flavor and cover up the half wig. Of course, um yeah, that's what it's looking like and all i did for the hair itself was put water in it um. I didn't have mousse, you probably should use a mousse or some type of leave-in conditioner or something just so that it doesn't um. So you could like lock the curls in place and it doesn't end up frizzy throughout the day, but all i used on it was water and that's what you see me doing right now. I just finger combed the entire wig and used water just to moisten the curls and to help it lay down a little bit but other than that. I'M not really doing any other manipulation to it. I'M just gon na go with the finger detangling and that's all that shed from the entire wig, which isn't bad at all um yeah. So this is what it looks like and you could like toss it over to the side, give it a couple different styles. I was gon na attempt to do like a half up half down situation, but i didn't really like how that looks. So i just left it alone, but um i mean you could do you could do some things with it and be versatile if you wanted to, but this is how i ended up wearing it. Just with the edges of my hair laid and the scarf - and i think it's really cute a really easy um protective style, very quick and the hair itself is just so pretty like the curl pattern is gorgeous. I love it. It'S a really good low maintenance wig because it is curly. All you really have to do is wash it and go or wet it and go put a little mousse and you good you don't have to really worry about styling it too much. All you have to really do is style, your edges, and if you don't want to style your edges, you really don't have to. You could put the headbands that they gave on so that you wouldn't even have to style your edges. But i like to do my baby hair just for that extra flavor, so that it looks more realistic, but the hair is super soft, very flowy. I wasn't getting any tangles or shedding on the initial unboxing. I have to give you guys updates and let you know how it ends up working out, but so far so good. If you do want to update it, video.
