I Tried Another Headband Wig ! | Ft Gonakedhair By Porsha Williams

Hey guys, it's shay welcome back to the channel. If you are new here thanks so much for tuning in on my channel. We talk about beauty, nursing and lifestyle weekly and, as you can tell in today's title, we're going to focus on beauty this week. I have a headband wig that i would love to come through and give you guys my first real raw impression of it's also a special headband wig, because if you are a real housewives fan, you know, porsha has her line, go naked hair and that's exactly where I got this wig from today, so i'm going to be showing you guys what this wig looks like on me, how much i paid, which style it is and do i like it or do. I think there needs to be something different. I am not a wig bay at all when it comes to cutting and melting and playing with the lace. I can tag some beige down below for you guys, but when it comes to the headband wigs, i feel like i'm a good candidate for that on the go. I need the shake and go. Have you ever seen the shaking go? Guys, let me go ahead and use my phone as a resource, so i can tell you guys about the exact headband wig that i picked up. So i picked up the deep wave headband wig from go naked, hair and 14 inches. I paid a total after shipping and taxes of 116.74 for this wig, so i looked at it on the website y'all and i will tag what i looked at right here. I seen the length i seen the body. It looks like something that will stand well. So i was willing to pay the 116 for it. If it was going to, you know, give me the bang for my buck. I don't remember the exact day. I ordered this wig, but i did not have any issues with shipping. I probably got it. I want to say in about a week or maybe two to three business days: it wasn't long um. It came from atlanta, of course, and i did have one thing where they emailed me back about shipping protection and i don't remember i guess i added it on or i forgot to add it on or something like that. But that was the only one hiccup through the whole process that i had when it came to ordering the wig my go naked package came, i want to say, i think it was in a plastic mailer um. It comes in a silk bag like this. So let me give you guys a quick close-up, so, as you guys see, it comes in a wig bag, so you can protect your hair when it's not on your head, um drawstrings on the top, and you just pull those open, and this is our wig. So it comes with the go naked tag on it and here's how she's looking um so let's go ahead and jump right into how it's feeling first impression. Okay, guys so first impression i can definitely say um. I don't know if you guys are looking at this wig, but i did tell you i ordered 14 inches and she's looking short um, my hair in this length, my hair is probably longer than 14 inches. I always think my regular hair straighten is 14 inches um. I don't know, but maybe it is and it's just because it's curly it looks a little bit shorter, but i was going for the look of my hair but curly. So i wanted to throw this on and i wanted people to just be like. Oh, she got her hair curly, that's okay! I don't want them to know. I got a wig on so we will see if this comes to the test, but this is how she's looking um, if any of you guys, are wig baits and you want to see the inside of the cap. This is what it looks like. It looks like there are three combs, so you get two combs on the side and one in the back. The headband is, i believe i don't know what kind of material to call this. It'S a silky material, it's good for the edges. It'S not gon na pull your hair out. I don't like when they have the cotton headbands, because i feel like those will snatch your edges all right guys. So we're not gon na waste. No time we're gon na go ahead and get this wig on my head. So i'm gon na take y'all through this journey with me as a relaxed girl. I am recently relaxed when i'm recently relaxed um. I will either braid my hair in two to four braids. I do not know how to cornrow, so i do like the fake cornrows. Basically, i braid a braid at the top and finishing at the bottom and connect it um, but since i might plan on wearing my hair out a couple more days, it does need to be washed. I will also do the wrap method under my wigs. I don't know if this is always recommended, but it works fine for me and i feel, like i get the best flatness when i do this. Okay, all so this is not the perfect wrap, but as a relaxed girl. This is typically what i do to my hair every single night to just keep it kind of um in the layered look, but without you know, having a flat iron every day. So when i'm wearing a wig, i do the same thing and then i grab my wig cap. You just have to be very careful because if you put this on and you like, do all this extra stuff like it's going to unwrap your wrap, so i literally just make it wide enough and i fit my head in it. If that makes any sense - and i will pull back just a tiny bit and y'all see how flat it literally looks like i don't have like when i do my braids - sometimes it's a little bumpy and then it causes issues all right, y'all, so we're gon na Go ahead and try this wig one, as i mentioned to y'all, it has two combs, oh actually, it has four combs. I missed lead. I misguided this is why i'm not a wig bae, so you have two combs on the side. There'S a middle comb near the headband and there's a back comb in the back. So let's get her on my head. Usually when i have a headband wig i'll have a clip here, but i don't have a clip. So i'm gon na use my ponytail because i undo the headband just so it's not crazy, looking and then i'll do that, okay, guys so before i start pulling this out and playing with it. The first thing i'm going to let y'all know is, i do not feel like this is 14 inches, i mean even in a curly state. I do not, and maybe i just need to pull it out more. I don't know, but this is not feeling like. I expected 14 inches to just hit my shoulders, especially by the photo i looked at when i was purchasing. I expected it to just like i didn't want to be. I don't expect longer puzzle hair, but i expected it to hit my shoulders at least - and this is very like it's very short and it's cute - don't get me wrong, but it's super short. So i'm gon na um go off camera just for a couple minutes to make sure everything looks okay and then i'll come back and i'll talk to you guys about this headband wig, okay guys! So i am back to you after i've done a little styling and playing with the wig. So what i first did is i literally finger combed all the curls out with my fingers, because i just felt like it was not giving and then after i finger combed it. The ends got really super poofy. So i just took some water in my hands and i went back through the ends to try to make it better and it did work so um just be careful if you're finger combing it out. I just really wanted to, like i told y'all when i first put it on it, was like here i'm like says. This is not what i asked for. This is not what i asked for so i just went ahead and finger comb to kind of loosen. The curls a little bit and then add some water back to give it some um, more uniformity or whatever it is. So one thing i will tell you guys: the hair is very soft and very pretty um running my fingers through it. Even when i was finger combing, it um, you guys see it's getting stuck now, but that's just because i added the water, but i don't. I didn't have a lot of shedding like i would usually have with a typical wig, so it is pretty deep, good hair. I haven't lost a lot of hair. I got stuff on my shirt. I haven't lost a lot of hair by finger combing it at all, so i did appreciate that got a little bit of tangle, but i expected it because it was curly um. The only thing like i said y'all is, i don't know about this being 14 inches. I would definitely call this. Maybe a 12. i've had like curly hair in 12 inches and it's been longer than this. So i don't know it's a body wave. I get it, but i'm a little if you're going to go for this wig, you probably want to get at least like a 16 or 18 and a 16 will probably still only maybe barely just touch your shoulder. So i don't really know about this. Being a 14, that's my only i'm still looking at it like i don't i don't know, i'm gon na show you all the back. I honestly do not know how the back looks right now, but let me show you all the back, so this is the back of the wig and i'm talking to you guys in my back too. I apologize, but this is the back of the wig um. I hope it looks okay, because i cannot see it right now. I did try to look at it with a mirror and it looked good. It looked okay, but this is the back. I think i have some type of like side part drawing going on right now, which i do like, because that's how i wear my hair anyway um. If you're looking at the headband, i will go ahead and show y'all in the back. This is how it looks like if the hair was up, so my headband probably has to be adjusted a little bit. I am using the comb at the bottom and i'll talk to you guys about the combs in a minute, but i am using the comb at the bottom. This is the headband with the velcro in it and if i were to wear my hair up, this is how it would look so, okay guys. So when i put her on, i have a longer head. I don't know if that makes sense, but anytime i put on wigs um. I have a longer head, so i don't always have to use all the combs because sometimes it will pull my hair. So the only comb i have one out of the four is one and i use the one in the back. I feel secure like this there's two combs here that i really felt will be pulling my hair. But if i go to like the gym or something in this wig, maybe i'll put them on and then there's one comb that sits right behind the headband. And i just really i'm very sensitive when it comes to like my edges and um, not even just as edges but just his hair in general, i don't like a lot of stuff pulling. I don't like a lot of tension. I think that's how i retain a lot of hair, because once something is pulling it's coming out, where i'm done with it. So i did just kind of keep the combs, as is on the two sides in the front, and i did latch someone in the back and guys i feel secure. I feel secure okay, so, like i said i did this little side tape drawn with the hair and um. This is how i would wear a curly hair anyway, so i think it looks fine, but um. You can wear a straight back if you want to, but i think this looks cute, especially for there being a headband on the front um. This didn't come with any extra headbands, like my last wig did, but that's okay, because i can always throw on an extra and sometimes i just like the black headband. It just looks like just sleek plain and put together with the black. Now i'm gon na go ahead and put on something a little bit more formal or more um. You know audi, instead of just my typical t-shirt. That way, you guys can kind of see a look for like if you're going out or if you want to wear this wig, you know to date, night party, club, etc. So i'll be right back, let me and get it together: okay, y'all! So let's run this down on a pros and a cons, type of thing you know so when i think about the pros of this hair, the one thing i can definitely say is it's definitely a shake and go type headband wig. So, like i can shake my hair in the morning run out the door, and i think i will look okay, um the hair. Also, the go naked hair in general is just as i told y'all before i can run my fingers through it, and even though i'm getting that poofiness at the end, which we'll talk about in the cons, i'm not getting that shedding. I'M not getting clumps of hair in my hand, i'm not leaving clumps of hair on the floor. Even when i did all that finger combing guys. I didn't really see a lot of hair shedding or coming out. So i can definitely give that as a pro again with me wearing this with this attire, i feel like it is a headband wig that is able to be upscaled, isn't able to be a customized to your liking or to your event and what you need it For and that's something that's good about the heavyweight, because you can't always throw some places. You'Re gon na look like you're going to the gym. If you have a headband wig one, i think this is not one of them. It looks very you know just classy. Of course, i need to do my edges and stuff like that, but i feel like this is just a classic sophisticated look with this headband wig. Now when it comes to the cons, you guys already heard me talk about the length um, the more i finger combed. It the more it's looking like 14 inches, but when i first took it out the pack, it was not 14 inches it even sitting like this right now. I still probably think it's more of a 12., so i don't know if they cheated me out of a little bit of her, but i know um when hair is curly, it's not always going to be the same way. It'S long, but you guys know i wear crochet hair and i wear crochet, hair and curly, and my 12 inch crochet hair literally comes to here. So i guess it also depends because it's also on a wig. I also have it on the side part. So fine great um, another thing you guys know i'm going to talk about in the cons, of course, is how the edges or how the not the edges the ends of the hair got so curly. Now this actually looks especially in the viewfinder. It'S a more of a natural look, and i kind of like it like that, but it just i don't know it got really frizzy. I really had to do a lot of work with some water to kind of get it back to this place so um. I would have liked to just run my hands through it and get this wave that i have up here all the way down to the end same with this side, i kind of ran it through and got it all the way down, but i guess it's made To be kind of like a natural body wave or a natural curly, so fine, whatever um, would i pay this again for this wig or would i recommend paying 116 for this wig when i compare it to my other headband wigs guys, i feel like this. Is one that i can wear more often i feel like it's one like i said i can go out in where i can you know go run errands in. I feel like the a customization to situation is very good for the price point um. I do think i could have probably gotten a longer wig, i'm gon na keep saying that and y'all gon na be mad at me. I probably could have got like a 16 or 18 inch wig for the same price. Honestly, but you know give or take the hair is amazing, like i said, minimal, shedding. You don't get that from a lot of hair, i'm sitting here kind of reflecting on my other video with my 20 headband wig and even for me to run my fingers through that wig. It was like chaos and i don't wear that wig a lot. It still looks okay, but i don't wear it a lot and that's why it looks okay. I feel like if i can wear this. If i wore this, it would still be fine so like when you're investing into wigs, you kind of have to consider that even with, like my lace front, i spent a lot of money on that wig. But it's because i wanted to make sure it was up to par, so i do think this is especially for the type of hair that they use for this. It is pretty good um. As far as the combs, you guys heard me talk about. I only use the back comb, but if your head is not long like mine and you want that security, you have two combs up here and a comb in the front. I still feel secure doing all this so um. I think you guys will be okay and it's a good thing that i do feel secure with me only having to use one comb all right, y'all, we're gon na go ahead and close this video out. I wan na.
