Affordable Amazon Headband Wig Review | $25 Synthetic Wig | Ft. Beyond Beauty Hair

Hey guys, it's karla and welcome back to my channel and today we have a pretty exciting video um. Today we are doing our first like collaborated, video. I guess you could say it's not really collaboration and it's not sponsored, but it's a review. How about that? I am honestly going to be putting to the test if headband wigs are actually beginner friendly because um i don't do wigs. I have one a wig once and i made that wig and i did it for my same portrait other than that i really haven't had any experience. So this company um sent me a wig and they asked me to review it. This is not a paid sponsorship, so therefore, everything that i say would be my 100 percent, honest opinion and review of this hair. So this hair was sent to me by beyond beauty, and this is a so. This is a body wave wig and it's in the color, one being it's 24 inches and, like i said it's a headband wig, so there's no lace. None of that. What came in the package was. It came in this really nice bag, this really nice ziploc bag. That you can kind of keep the wig in as well. It'S not a dust bag. It is like um, a like thicker plastic. I think you can kind of get the texture from looking at it. Um it came with a wig cap, a netted wig cap. That is black as well as a headband for you to use. If you would like to the one that i was sent, was a yellow looks like sunflowers printed on it really cute for like summer, and then it comes with the actual wig. Now. My first impression of the hair is that it was really soft and it does give the um. You know the impression that it's good hair - it's really soft, but you also have to unders like beware, because this is a synthetic wig and synthetic hair tends to shed and tangle very easily. So i will only know the true quality of the hair over time. So i won't be able to give like a super like in-depth, like review of the actual hair quality, but from the first touch in first glance, it is really soft and really shiny, which does kind of give it that synthetic look, because synthetic hair tends to be A lot more shiny than human hair, but it's not overtly shiny, so it still looks high quality, if that makes any sense on to putting this wig on get straight into the installation um starting off with what you're about to see under this bonnet we're working on A twist out so just yeah anyway, um i'm actually really excited for this video. First of all this, this is my first like someone reaching out to me wanting to send me their product to review as well as this is my first video after hitting 1k subscribers like thank you guys so much for um supporting me getting me to this goal. I'Ve had this goal for like two years now and to finally reach it feels so good. So i hope that this channel continues to grow. I'M still thinking like i kind of want to do something special for 1k, because it's not a lot for like some people, but it's like a lot for me, so i just want to. I just want to thank you guys. You know back to the video because we're getting we're getting cheesy so yeah. I have these twists in because i'm working on a twist out honestly, i just washed my hair last week and um. I never know what to do my hair after i wash it. So i always put it in twists. This time was no different, so with this headband wig, i'm going to start off by just taking my twists and stretching them as much as they possibly can so that i can put them in a nice little bun in the back, because your hair does not need To be from what i understand, your hair does not need to be um like glued down or like braided down super neatly or anything, and these twists are very malleable, so, like i feel like just pulling them back, would be enough. This little bun at the bottom of my head, though this may cause problems, so i'm gon na um pin i'm gon na. Show you what i'm gon na do. If this works out baby, i'm going away for college and um - i don't know if you guys even know this, like the people that don't know me personally, that watch my youtube videos. This was my senior year of high school, but i was taking college courses for my senior year rather than my high school classes. So i'm going away for like four year university or in my case three years, because i only be there for three years: um, i'm going away so college videos, the dorm moving like all of that is going to be coming very soon this summer, as well as, Like really exciting, like summer videos, and if this wig works baby everybody on campus, it's fantasy this, like more than they want to okay, so i'm gon na start um. Yesterday i planned this video out. So yesterday i kind of just like pulled some hair out. These are not edges by any means. These are full grown hairs, but um. I pulled them out so that i could have more to work with, because my edges are like really they're, literally baby hairs like they're, thin and they're short and they're not going to really give what needs to be given today. So i'm going to start off with some eco, the green jar. You guys many controversies um, but you know it still works for me. So i'm gon na use this to slick back yeah yeah, and i'm just doing this to like kind of flatten it out. Okay, this is not like giving okay moving on now the the whole point of these headband wigs. You just do your edges and then you go. I guess again, i don't know i'm just gon na do some edges, i'm gon na actually keep them very, very simple. I like the way it feels to be. I don't know if i said this either. I definitely didn't i don't remember, but i'm using edge booster, the yellow one. This is the one i've always bought. This is only my second jar and i've been using edge booster for like two years, so i don't know if that says anything but like their products less, at least for me, like i have longevity with them. So now that i'm done with the edges portion, i'm going to go ahead and put on a wig cap, i'm not going to use the one that they provided. Just because, like i got these twists like they're, just going to pop right out that net. So i'm going to be using this black wig cap that i just had on hand and yeah we're just going to do it a zoo. At this point i kind of want to put it like super close and then push it back. Just to know that you know i'm kind of controlling everything and bam. It'S just that simple. Like honestly, i'd walk out the house like this, because the edges are giving moving on anyway. So now we're going to be playing with this wig um. She has a band and she also has clips on i'm pretty sure, there's clips on the front back and on the side. So four clips like you, can be secure, secure and i'm gon na go and um put this on. I'M honestly, like a bit scared a bit scared. This is the moment of truth, but we're just gon na do it so i'm gon na go run my head over and do what i do. You know you know what i'm doing hold on. It was hot under there felt like i was dying okay hold on, so that was that um i'm gon na take this. So let me just do the side clips, at least if i can't get the front one, because i just want to also like check the security to see like how secure this wig will actually make. You feel so that the clips can actually reach into my hair. Okay and do the same thing to the other side, bam, so she's really secure with the side ones. Like honestly, i don't even need the front one to be clipped. It'S just up to you. So now that that's done, i'm gon na take the straps, because the stripes are what kind of like give it the headband look. I guess again, i am gon na say i'm gon na, like reiterate this hair super soft. I just wouldn't say that again right here. You can kind of see like a little bump. That'S one of my twists, honestly! It'S because i'm lazy and i decided that i didn't want to take the time to like really flatten out my hair, but other than that. It'S whatever like. I don't really care. So take my ears out, so i'm gon na get a wig brush. I have a paddle brush and i'm just gon na brush through it and kind of see what happens. Body wave should always hold its form. So i shouldn't really come into issues um. I don't know i'm just going to play with this for a little bit until i get like kind of a way that i am like really feeling it. I think it's cute. I just want to kind of still play with it a little bit. I want to say again: this hair is super super soft. It is synthetic, so it does like get tangled pretty easily like even after i brush it running my hands through it. She needs some tension, you know, but what do you expect like? You can't expect too much from like a wig of this price and i think it does really well for it being this price. I think it does amazing so yeah, let's put on the headband, that it comes with i'm gon na like back up. This is what it's giving. This is what it's getting buy. I haven't seen it backed up, but if this is what is getting backed up - and i think it looks very cute up front - go ahead by the wig - you don't need to anyway child we're just going to put on this headband so that we can kind of See um like what it would look like if you put on a headband on top of the black band, because i know this ain't, the look for a lot of people and even so like. I would like kind of fold fold it in half, because i think it's a bit thick so yeah, but i just want to show you anyway, the headband that they give. You isn't really thick enough to like fully cover the band as you can see. So if you are like planning on purchasing this wig, just you're on amazon anyway, just make sure you um find a good value pack. I know they're selling a lot of value packs now because of headband wigs, but you can get these kind of like knotted headbands that are elastic, just make sure you're getting my stick one so that they can fully cover up the band in which you would want Covered so i think it is so cute, though, like with the headband, it gives off very like vibes, you know, so i'm actually going to call raven, which is my best friend and she's, going to give you a first reaction of what she thinks of this wig And she doesn't know i'm calling her. I literally call her like every day, though in the morning or she calls me and she should be up by now - it's 11, so i'm gon na call her but like yeah you're, just gon na hear her. So i'm gon na do that right now: oh [ Applause, ], you're! So fake! Do you like it i've seen it already are we are you liking it? I like it. I'M filming - and i was like i'm about to get your your raw reaction, but you know my phone is stupid and it doesn't answer automatically so so you guys saw raven's reaction um. I my phone is really dumb like it doesn't answer. Facetime calls automatically it'll answer. It for the other person but for me, it'll, say reconnecting for like two or three minutes so yeah, i'm gon na show you the back. I mean i don't even know what the back looks like because yeah, but i'm gon na show you the back. This is what it looks like from the back and mind you. I do have like a really bulky, like situation. Going on. Definitely would do this with like um, some flat braids or a slick back or even like honestly. I think it looks fine with my twist under it, which would be perfect sorry for my chair. But this would be perfect because i'm always doing like a twist out and if i need to go somewhere to like a family gathering a party whatever class baby she's she's coming on, because because why not you know? If you just need something simple, quick that you just need to look good for like a real quick like you, you know, and the fun's not really there for you to go and pick up a fully laced, wig or whatever you would usually wear.
