Hey chad and welcome back to my channel, so i'm very excited about this video. Let'S rewind a little bit, though a few months ago i told y'all on my channel. There is pretty much a worldwide shortage on lace and it has really impacted the hair care industry, meaning those who need units likes a little stairs to come. By that mean, the price is going up, and so headband wigs have really become on trend because reality is, lace has gone up. An affordable alternative has been the headband wigs and let me say this because every time i post a wig, some clip-ins any type of a unit, i get people saying well, your natural hair is beautiful, listen linda. I never said it. Wouldn'T i love my hair, but the reality is number one. I want to protect my hair, so i use units number two. I know what it's like to have alopecia and so for medical reasons. I needed a wig to help me feel beautiful number. Three. Some people like units they don't even need a reason they just won't win, and so with that being said before, you leave a comment telling me or any other person what to do with their beauty and how to wear their hair and what they should not be Doing as far as units go, how about you mind the business that pays you, which is exactly what i'm doing in this video shout out to wes kids hair for sponsoring this video they contacted me and was like listen. They sent me a beautiful box that comes with a storage bag. So if you want to store the unit you can they give you a thank you note as well. They also have given me a few alternatives when it comes to headbands, something that they offer on their site. Um. I think i'm gon na go with this red and white one yeah. This looks pretty cute, but if you don't like traditional headbands, they do also offer scarfs as well. In addition to the headbands, the scarf and the actual unit itself, they give you an elastic band. If you find that you're elastic band on your wig becomes a little loose or if you just want to tighten it for yourself, you can attach this to customize it to fit your head honey, i'm the big head squat. So i understand the need for customization. Sometimes so, let's get into the actual units, i got a 24 inch unit and it is curly hair. As far as the details on it is virgin human hair um, the color is natural black. The density is 250. They currently make the wigs available in 10 to 30 inches, it's made with iso fabric, which is about two inches wide you'll get a cute free headband, and it's all in one piece. So now, as far as the construction of the unit um, this is what it looks like on the inside and, if you're into the security of the unit, they actually have these clamps that are very similar to a clip in. You can just attach that to your hair, however, you see fit there's about three of them right here and the headband itself has has velcro. So that's how you attach it on the back of your head, but listen to me. None of that means anything if the hair is not good quality. So what i'm going to do is actually go off camera and i'm going to co-wash this unit. I'M gon na come back and show you the shed hair and then we'll worry about how it looks on, but honey mother got to make sure anything. She'S endorsing is qui la t, be right back and i'm back. I co-washed the unit with the camille rose, coconut water co-wash because with human hair, wigs you kind of want to be a little gentle, so with co-washing it. This is the amount of shed hair that i got and for a 24 inch unit. That is amazing. So let me go ahead and show you the unit, and it was really important for me to actually wash it to see the quality of the hair and honestly it is so beautiful. Now. The one thing i will say is about curly hair curly. Human hair is sometimes the ends, may be a little split, so you can just take some scissors or some shears and gently cut those off, but overall the quality of this hair has been amazing. So since it is wet, this is what i'm going to do is actually go ahead and prep it for styling. So i'm going to take some mousse and put it on the hair, and this is the same motion i did when i co-washed it. It'S just to gently, apply it and just kind of rub your hands down. You don't ever want to do like a like a scrubbing motion, because they can actually cause it to tangle. So this is the hair y'all. This hair looks so bomb like seriously and it's so different than my texture. I have a lot of kinky curly clip ends and units as well, but i wanted something that was different than my hair, just for a switch up in the look. So what i'm gon na do is continue to apply these mousse all over just to lock in the curl pattern. Then i'm going to come back once this wig is dry, i'm going to just lay it flat to dry. As you can see, my fingernails are just running right through it, so i'm going to lay it flat to dry and then we're going to apply this unit, but so far mother gives this the a plus y'all look at this hair: okay, honey and we're back the Hair is now clean and dry, and this looks so good, especially after a good cleansing. The fact that it's not matter it really is impressing me. So let's go ahead and put this wig on so this has a velcro strap, so just be careful to make sure you don't get it attached to your real hair or to the actual unit itself and actually to show you the application. I'M going to put this hair up and out the way honey so once the cap is actually adjusted to how i like it, i just simply take the braille curl strap and attach it just like that. It'S really that simple and again remember: there's the clipping combs on the inside, so that you can securely attach the unit to your head without worrying about it falling off uh-huh yeah, this hair looks so good, especially with limited product on it. So what i'm going to do to tame it just a little bit, because honey is giving lion's mane it's giving diana ross. It'S giving big hair, don't care! It'S add a little bit of oil just to tame it. I'M going to take some of this oil not too much just because the hair honestly doesn't need a lot. I more so just want to put just a little bit, so i don't have a lot of flyaways y'all. This hair looks so good and the next thing that i'm going to do what i find works really well for my curly extensions and clip-ins, and things like that is to use this hair dress by mix chicks. It'S a daily moisturizer, but it actually has a little bit of hold to it. So i like to put some of that on my curly hair, just to make sure it's moisturized and to also lock in some of the curls so that it's not all over the place. So i like to rub it in and just put it on here. So i'm gon na rub it in until it's not white anymore, y'all, mother, starting to feel myself so now that that is applied, i'm actually going to put on my headband. This is one that i actually got from west kiss. If i can get it over the earrings and just like that, i'm ready to leave the house y'all to say i am feeling myself is an understatement. This hair, it feels amazing. It looks amazing. I really love this look on me just because it's so different than how i usually look so it's nice to be able to change it up without me having to worry about blending in some lace. So if you are looking for a headband unit, i high key recommend this. The hair feels so good, especially after the co-wash is easy to maintain on a daily basis. I'Ll just add a little bit of this hairdresser just because it's curly, hair and curly hair sometimes needs a little bit more loving care than you would your straight unit. So i apply this just for moisture and when i feel like i need a little bit of hold on it, i will put on a mousse. You don't need any gels or anything like that y'all. This is so easy to rock. It has the clips in there for easy, um access to securing your unit. Y'All missed the fan. The city gon na have a good all the time, because honey mother is filling herself y'all gon na see this a whole lot, because this looks so cute on me.
