Trying A Headband Wig From Amazon | It Fit Over My Locs

Hmm, hey it's lex, welcome or welcome back to my channel today, i'm coming to you guys with a new video and i'm super excited to be trying a headband wig. I purchased this wig from a company on amazon called me fly on wigs and i apologize. If i am mispronouncing it, i will definitely have the name of the company in the description box and link it down below, but i did purchase this wig with my own money, because i wanted to see what it was all about. I kept seeing reviews and tutorials and i was like i really want to give this a try. Now. Don'T get me wrong. I still love my lace, frontal wigs. I love the versatility. I love when the lace is nice and melted, just there's nothing like it, but i also love the simplicity of the headband wig, so hopefully it'll fit over my hair as y'all can see. I have my locks out right now. It'S been about five or six weeks since my last re-twist, so it's kind of thick in there and we're gon na see if i can actually put this headband wig over my locs and still have it looking natural. So i did kind of do my baby hairs. Already, i don't usually use a whole lot of products on my edges because it can cause buildup in my locs, and so i don't want that. So, if you're somebody with locks we're going to see if this is practical for us. Okay, if you don't have locks you're, just going to see what this hair is talking about from this company, so either way. I hope you stay tuned, let's go ahead and get started all right, you guys. So this is the original packaging that it comes in and, as you guys can see, it comes in a big ziploc bag. I really like that, because you can use this bag for different storage, and so you can store it away from there or just any items like cosmetic items. If you're traveling, you can put them in this bag. So i really like getting these big ziploc bags, so i'm gon na go ahead and open it, and i'm gon na put it off to the side again so inside of that baby ziploc bag. Is this the raw straight bag and again more storage? You can actually use it if you want to, but i plan on just using it for additional storage. So i really appreciate this and again it has the name of the company, which i believe is the flyon wig. But i could be wrong so inside of our bags, we have our wig cap, which is really nice of them. I prefer the darker tone wig cap. However, i still use these, i don't mind, so i have a headband which is really cute. I like this as a floral design and it's red, i think it's super cute and there is another headband in here: blue, yellow and white, also very cute, and then finally, we have our wig, okay, here's our wig and on the bag that the wig comes in. It says brazilian headband wig 16 inch, waterways, 150 density, natural color, so here's our wig straight out of the packaging we're going to put it on and it also came in a big bag. So more storage, we love it. So now we are taking our wig out of the packaging, and so it has the hair net around it, of course, just to keep everything in place, and then it also has this little paper inside of it to keep our wigs shaped. So let me put that off to the side as well, and so i am really impressed with this wig right off the bat you guys now look at the inside. I want you guys to really take a look at that. So i've seen a lot of these videos where you can actually see the wefts from the inside like you could actually stick your hand through the wig. So i can definitely appreciate that this wig is made in such a way that you cannot stick your hand through the wig. I like that, a lot, and so there are combs in the wig. There is a comb in the back and i believe, there's three combs at the top. Yes, so there's two pumps on the side and then one in the middle. So there are combs, i won't be using them, but there are combs if you choose to use them and there's also the adjustable straps. You guys are familiar with these, i'm sure so i'll probably be using the adjustable straps. If i need to. But again i don't know because hair's a little bit thick right now, so we have our headband okay. So that's going to be real secure. I know you saw that so that's gon na be real secure. So i'm gon na go ahead and apply my wig cap and then i will come back on camera when i'm ready to apply this wig all right y'all. So i'm back looking like an egg, as you can see, i have my wig cap on and i pushed it back a little bit so that my baby hairs can be seen for this wig style. So i'm gon na go ahead and attempt to apply it right. Now and keep in mind, this is straight out of the packaging. I have not done anything to this wig. So, let's see what she's going to go ahead and give it looks like it's going to be a little tight, though i'm not going to lie and we're going to try anyway. Okay, oh yo, i don't think it's gon na fit. Oh, my my gosh, so yeah i'm still trying it's definitely a tight fit all right. So it's on it's on everything's in there. So now i have to figure out how i'm going to secure it. It'S on them. It'S on. It was a tight fit. I'M not going to lie now. The velcro is stuck okay. This is the last step. Okay, all right. Okay, so the wig is on the wig is on. As y'all can see. I have secured it with the elastic band that was attached in the velcro, so the wig is on now. Was it a tight, fit absolutely okay, and so what you can do to add a finishing touch is you can add one of the nice headbands that they provide in the packaging? I actually bought a headband because i've been seeing these headbands and they're so cute. So i got this headband from amazon as well. I will definitely link it down below. I think this is so cute y'all and keep in mind. I have not done anything. Oh, this is cute y'all, so i haven't done anything to this hair. I took it straight out of the packaging. You guys saw me. I squeezed it over my locks, and here is what i got out of this cute headband. Let'S get that out of the way on the side, but i love this. You guys this is so cute. So cute so cute, okay, so this is the finished result. You guys. I hope you enjoyed this video. It was a real, quick video for my ladies with locks. Is this realistic? No, if you have not done a retwist or if your hair is not in some kind of twist or braids now i personally do not twist or braid my hair specifically to wear a wig. I will twist or braid my locs to preserve the re-twist. I find that they last longer that way, less frizz and all that. So keep in mind that if you want to try this definitely make sure that your hair is already twisted or braided in such a way that it'll kind of lay a little bit more flat and you can get your wig on okay, because this was a struggle. A struggle - and i don't recommend but the finished product is so cute and so worth it like. I said it would be even better if i would have twisted my hair, but i have no complaints. You guys. I think this is so cute and i cannot wait to wear it and take pictures.
