Natural Hair Headband Wig Amazon | Install + Review | Curly 18 Inch

Hey guys so today i'm going to go ahead and try out a headband wig that has like a natural hair texture. So before i do that, i'm going to twist up my hair just to keep it nice and moisturized, i'm using one of my favorite hair butters. This one's from ps, it's natural and i have a list of favorites. If you want to check that out, i have a whole full video and all the hair butters in that video are black bones, so check it out. So all i do is smooth on my hair butter and use a brush just to distribute, distribute and detangle my hair and then that's it. Hair butter keeps my hair moisturized for like a long period of time, like almost seven days or more than seven days really. So that's why i like hair butter so now moving on to the wig. This is the wig. This is the back. It came in. It came with a net, and now you might think the hair looks nappy, but actually it is really soft to the touch it does have a scent on it, so you may want to rinse it off shampoo it and condition it before you use it. I just use this straight out of the bag, because i just wanted to give you guys a first impression review um, but if the smell does bother you just wash it and condition it or give it an apple, cider, vinegar bath. I wanted to say acv but yeah okay, so this is the headband wig. The hair is nice and fluffy and soft um, so yeah it has combs inside so the first time i tried to put it on and i tried to match it up with my forehead, but of course that's not gon na work. Also, my twists were like sticking out so i was like. Let me just take this off and try it again. Oh no, i was like. Let me take this part off like these hooks that uh make the head smaller um and i feel like oh wait. No - and this is when i realized that the wig only came in one head size - sometimes they give you sizes, like 24 25 26 and i usually get the largest, but this one. I just realized that there was no size to choose from and i don't know if all headband wigs are like that. But that's how this one was so i mean i understand, because it's kind of like half of a wig, so you don't really need a head size so yeah. So i went ahead clipped up my twist and then i put on the wig and then after i clipped up my twists and got a mouth away. Then the wig fit. So the key to this headband wig is to have it up as close to your forehead. As possible um so yeah, so there was like a nice tug, a nice snug fit the headband part in the back is very stretchy. Well, the whole thing is very stretchy um, and you see here it's not really close to my forehead but try to get the actual hair, like not the headband but the actual hair line closer to your forehead, so that it lays flatter, if you have it like Sitting in the back, like i have here right now, it'll look lumpy um yeah. So now i'm going to go ahead and maintain this beautiful hair. It is very soft, and i felt like all i needed to do was spray it with some water. You can use any temperature water, since this is not real hair, it doesn't have a hair pores that shrink and um open. So you can just go ahead and wet up this hair, so i went ahead and basically stretched this hair. I didn't drench it where it was like dripping like i went in the shower or something like i just made it wet enough so that i could play with it and lay it down so that it looks good. So here again i'm playing with the forehead again. This is too far back in my opinion. You have to bring it up as close as you can to your forehead, so yeah i'm going to keep adjusting the wig, because this is my first time using a headband wig. So i didn't really understand that the hairline on the headband wig needs to be really close to my forehead, so yeah, i'm just going to continue spraying it down. This is not a full lace wig, so you will see some tracks, but the tracks don't show because of the hair so yeah. So you can see the curl pattern is um getting wet because i'm wetting it up and it's getting denser so it started to lay down up here and also you guys did see that there was no part whatsoever on this wig. But now i kind of created some kind of like natural looking fall for the hair, so yeah that's what i wanted to do, um and again. That is too far back for me because you can see it. It looks like it's like up on my head, so i'm going to go ahead and pull it further, even more the hairline. So i'm talking about the hairline of the hair and basically now it looks even more flatter because i pulled it up, so you want it as close to your forehead as possible. So after using water, i figure i'm going to have to use something to keep the hair um molded down, not even molded but like hair uh in this like state. So i'm going to go ahead and smooth on some mousse um. You can use whatever mousse. That is made to hold the hair um because i know there's different types of mousses. I think so. You would want to use one that is meant to hold down here this one's from the main choice, and i just happened to have it from one of their sales that they had so yeah. I like this mousse um yeah and it was a nice one. So yeah, but just keep going uh, so i did the top part first, of course that's the important part, and then i went ahead and smooth mousse all over all of my hair, and this hair is just so pretty and so soft to style, and it just Made me just cannot it just made me like really hopeful for my hair to get this length at its natural state, and i want to straighten when it's natural, so yeah, it's very pretty. I chose this texture over the other textures because i really like wearing natural hair, looking looks or natural hair looking hair. So that's why i chose this one over like a kinky straight or a body wave yeah. I really like the natural look. I prefer the natural look most of the time yeah. So now, i'm just trying to find a way to wear this, and now i'm gon na go ahead and grab a headband, and then i realize that i don't want to mess up the wig. So i'm going to pull my hair out through the headband, i'm sure i could have pulled it over my face, but i didn't want to mess up anything like makeup or pull the wig off or something like that so yeah. So now we're going to go ahead and try to configure the headband now. This part also didn't understand until i played around with it um, so i'm wetting it again some more and then i'm going to look at the forehead and try to make it look natural uh and get rid of the black original headband like hide the original headband. On the headband, so i'm gon na pull it up. As far as i can to my forehead and then push back the black headband and then put on the green one and then try to push back the gray one to expose some of my uh natural hair and edges and all that, like a little more a Little bit past the edges, so it looks like it's. My head and all i have on is a headband, so yeah. So that's really the goal of this look and i think i achieved it. Um yeah. So if you need more mousse go ahead and apply it. I'M not going to trim this hair because i like the length and the length looks natural. The ends look natural, so i just kept it this way. So this is the finished. Look, it's still a little wet, but it still look the same way. I only had like a little bit of shedding when i was applying water and mousse, but yeah look guys. It looks so real like look and then look at the ends like the ends are usually what tells someone if it's weave or not, but this looks so pretty um yeah. It looks like 4b hair, like 4b, here really yeah. So this is my final look and now i'm going to go ahead and style it i'm going to put in the bun, because i saw someone do this and i said this is a great way to use a headband wig so yeah. This is my little bun and again it just looks natural again. So now here are my thoughts. Okay, so the hair is really soft. The hair is really soft and the curl painting is just so realistic. Looking if you can see the ends, they're so realistic. Looking um, this is a great one. I had to create this part, as you guys saw, and i had to push back the black headband just to reveal my actual edges just so it looks real, so this is really cute. I love it. It took like 15 minutes to put on so it's like a quick hairstyle. If your hair is a mini twist or if you just don't want to wear your natural hair, you can just throw on a natural hair, wig and cute headband, so it came with two heavy and the green one that i have on and this flamingo one. I also purchased a dozen of headbands and they're all different colors, so i have these this one, this one black that prank these prints. These are nice. These are cute i'll link down below the wig and this 12 pack of headbands, if you guys want to get those too but yeah, it's so pretty. I love it. It'S lightweight, it does feel secure. You can use any mousse that is meant to hold hair down. So you don't have to use the one that i got again.
